To the owner of Reeds dairy ice cream. Your fill the yeti/ stanley tumbler may be fun for the teenagers that come in for a gallon of ice cream. But your staff needs to be educated on safe serve / cross contamination in a food service establishment. To use the same scoopers from container to container after sticking them in peoples personal mugs from home is disgusting and unsanitary. When I asked about it I was told " oh we stick them in water " sorry BUT STILL UNSANITARY !!! I believe the health dept might owe you a visit !!! This frequent customer wont be back ! read more

Not all ice cream are created equal, so it's always a nice treat to try a local creamery. Credit goes to Canyon Rim for the originality in some of their flavors. The flavors were really great, we tried the mom's recipe, honey comb crunch, and cookie berry. The texture of the ice cream was very smooth and heavy, almost like a frozen custard. While it was good, I prefer my ice cream on the lighter side. For $3.50 you get 2 large scoops, and this was supposed to be their "single" scoop. I'm afraid to see how big their double scoop is, probably 4 scoops?! read more

Reeds dairy is an icon in Idaho and an institution for America. They make the most wonderful ice cream and other treats and I can't say enough good things about how wonderful Reed is. They also have nondairy treats there for those that have intolerances. Run don't walk to Reeds dairy. read more

I ordered a single scoop in a cup with 2 different flavors (Huckleberry Cheesecake and Salted Caramel Cashew). The portion size was great for a single scoop. It cost around $3.71. The ice cream was creamy but the flavor was very light like only a hint of huckleberry. If you're used to a pretty strong flavor on your ice cream then you might struggle in tasting the different flavor of ice cream. read more

I went here tonight with my girlfriend and we thought it was very good. We ordered a sundae with butterscotch, chocolate syrup and whipped cream. Tried this place the other night. The service was really friendly and helpful! The ice cream was creamy and tasted great. I'm not entirely sure we got the right ice cream in the bottom scoop of our sundae (it didn't look like it had the add-ins it was supposed to), but since we had eaten halfway through it before we figured it out, we just went with it. I also liked how you could buy pints to take home. My only beef was that there wasn't enough topping on the sundae -- after the first few bites the sauces were gone. I have a mixed review for this cute little spot. Walk in and it is nicely done! Metal chairs, bright colors, indoor outdoor seating. There were two young girls working here that kind of acted like they hated their lives. They never smiled at us once and acted like when we ordered it was going to kill them. Ugh. I really hate customer service like that. You work in an Ice Cream Shoppe! BE FRIENDLY! HAVE FUN! :) The flavors were fun. lots of new flavors I hadn't had before. The Burnt Almond was really good! - I ordered Cotton Candy. "Two Scoops" was a good amount, but it was over $9. Seems a little high for a 2 scoop cone. Huckleberry shake was substantial. It was a solid shake flavor. It would be better with added real huckleberry to it. You get the choice of having chocolate milk or regular milk mixed in with the shake. Apparently they sell award winning chocolate shake. They ran out of smaller bottles so we didn't get to try it. But I'll take their word that it's worth getting at some point. read more

The ice cream flavors are creative (like honey comb crunch- graham cracker flavor ice cream with chunks of honey comb candy in it). The quality is very good- the ice cream is thick and rich. The portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable (a kiddie portion is only $2). The store is clean and bright and we had no trouble finding a clean table to ourselves. They could hire a few more workers besides 1 girl working the register , 1 working the Drive thru and 1 girl who stayed glued to the register even when no one was checking out, which was a really long time since 1 teenager was scooping 4 double scoop waffle cones and making a shake. May I suggest Cross training the cash register girl so she can multi task help her struggling co- workers and the long long line move along.Pretty sure none of the staff said Hello or Welcome or could even muster a smile. Asked for a double sundae and was handed two scoops in a cup. It took a good 10 m in n to get semi warm fudge and whipped cream. No masks on any employees but they were wearing gloves. Ice cream was tasty so four stars on ice cream and two on service netted three stars. read more

OK ice cream but there were many cons. My little guy and I waited for 15 minutes to get our ice cream and there were only two individuals ahead of us. One of the employees just stood at the register watching the other scoop ice cream. When we were being served the ice cream my son picked was served in a cone but had to be put in a cup because it was too soft. My ice cream was fine but I asked for hot fudge which the employee proceeded to put in a styrofoam cup and then microwave. The employee that served my ice cream did not change her dirty (fudge covered) gloves before service us. The fudge had an off taste and I would expect not to have microwaved fudge at an ice cream shop. In all the almost $10 price tag, wait time, non-hygienic service and low quality means we most likely won't be returning to this shop. read more

We went in about an hour before closing and the staff were welcoming and personable, offered us free samples of any flavor we wanted to try, and had our orders promptly served and rung up when we finally made up our minds. So many great ice cream options! As we were being served, several more customers arrived and the staff members were just as professional and speedy in serving them too. Very impressed by the staff! A note, prices are a little more than you'd pay at a chain shop but the products are locally produced and very high quality. Worth every cent! read more

Stopped by while travelling through Twin Falls. A very nice ice cream shop with great ice cream and very good service. The scoops were big and the Huckleberry ice cream was the best, although the Strawberry Shortcake was almost as good. Tatanya was awesome and has a very pretty smile, and she and Emily were hard workers when a large family came in after us. Will stop by again if we're in TF again.
