Lovely little coffee shop to get your caffeine fix in little Buhl, Idaho. If you want a quality cup…read moreof joe, make sure to stop here. This coffee shop is staffed by warm, welcoming baristas who take their time to really make quality drinks. They might be young, but I was impressed by their professionalism and the way they seemed to really care about getting my drink right and spent an extra second or two double-checking that they had everything the way I wanted. One of the coolest aspects of this place is that they use Cloverleaf milk, which literally comes from the dairy across the street. Talk about using local products--they could only be more local if they had a cow in the back and milked it directly into the lattes. Along with that beautiful cream-top milk, they use locally roasted Dawson Taylor coffee that comes freshly roasted from Boise. I love a cafe that supports our Idaho companies. When I ordered the girls suggested the Idahoan, which is a white mocha with huckleberry. I'm not always big on super fruity, sweet drinks, but this is just the right amount of sweetness. I appreciate that they haven't gone crazy with syrups and are instead trying to highlight flavors. The drink had three beautifully balanced shots of espresso, nice velvety oat milk (my preference), and was the perfect temperature. A standout drink. I also had a great oatmeal cookie, which was chewy and dense and had that great malty flavor. Definitely a 10/10 afternoon pick me up. The shop itself is clean and bright, has nice little tables and cozy chairs, and a little fireplace to linger at. You can drive through if you're in a hurry, and the service is quick if you'd just like to get in and out. I can't find any faults with this cafe. Definitely stop in--you won't be disappointed.

Came in for dinner tonight and we were disappointed and won't return. I ordered the five piece…read morechicken strips, I got four chicken nuggets - the smallest "chicken strips" I've ever seen. The only thing they didn't skimp on was the shoestring fries. Another person in our group has the pastrami sand which and it was small and flavorless. Finally, the last person ordered a burger that was small and had no flavor. We also ordered two butterscotch shakes which was really vanilla ice cream with some butterscotch syrup in the glass and way too much milk. Now for the reason for the one star instead of the two that I was going to give this place. Service. The service was horrendous. It's obviously a family run business, but I would expect a step up on service from a place like this instead of receiving this bad of service. The girl who served us didn't know what she was doing and shouldn't be waiting tables at all. The shakes that we ordered didn't come out at the same time and in fact we got to listen to them gripe and complain about having to make butterscotch shakes which no one seemed to know how to do. I received mine with dinner and my dad received his after we had finished eating. They came and *slapped* bills down on our table three times until they got it right. We were billed for a five piece chicken strip basket when we only received four small pieces of chicken. The waitresses clearly didn't want to be there until a group of boys came in that were around their age and they all perked up and helped them quickly and ignored us for the rest of our visit. Needless to say, we won't be back. $32 while cheap for three meals and two shakes, it wasn't worth it. The only reason we ate here tonight was because Jackson's was closed and we drove all the way from Twin and decided to try it out. You get better food and service from any fast food restaurant.

Grandson ordered a club sandwich which turned out to be nothing but lettuce and one thin slice of meat. I got the tuna melt and it was literally disgusting and inedible. Threadbare booths and torn, dirty carpet. I will never return.
