After picking up my glasses I walked around for weeks saying randomly to people that I loved my new glasses lol. I still feel this way. Recently I had to change my prescription. They were happy to help me do this, and even fixed a tiny bit of damage I had caused after dropping them. They were ready faster than predicted and they're perfect. I love this store.

Keeping only 1 doctor to show up once a month and acting like it is the same clinic is not right, actively confusing patients. 2. New management is all about money! Pay pay pay. Even with insurance. Make sure you double check AGAIN, or else, they may have worked with your insurance in the past, that does NOT mean, this new management is in the list. 3. Plan to spend 30 more mins. The original doctors did NOT sell your data to them, which is awesome. If you are like me, showed up without knowing everything and everyone changed, you will spend half an hour filling up endless paperwork and they don't bother tell you this beforehand intentionally, cause they don't want you to know it is different people took over the old-name. They just wanna continue getting the clients without disclosing the change. 4. Terrible service! Will treat you like an idiot and all the high-tech checkup is not anymore. The reception was a little impatient when I called in to book an appointment to look at available dates for Dr. Goldberg. In-person, all the receptionists seemed annoyed when we tried talking to them so my husband and I didn't feel very comfortable in the waiting area. At the conclusion of the exam, they advised us that they didn't take our vision insurance. This was a little upsetting, considering I had to fill out a form and provide them my insurance *before* they conducted the examination. It would have been nice to be informed that they didn't accept my insurance beforehand but since we were already there, I suppose they didn't want to lose out on earnings. We were billed a total of $638 for an annual exam ($319 each), which we paid out of pocket. No, I assure you that this did not include digital retinal screening or other advanced forms of technology. It was your typical vision exam. Considering the customer service and how average the examination was, I do not feel this merited the exorbitant price point. Although Dr. Goldberg was not involved in the incidents I mentioned above, I do still hold him accountable since this is his practice. The onus is on Dr. Goldberg to ensure that his staff are not lacking in integrity or alienating customers but it could also suggest that this type of behavior trickles from the top down. Either way, I do not advise on coming here.

They assistant performs a few eye tests before doctor comes in. She explained the testing process. One small complaint, I had to ask her if I was getting the a "glaucoma test". She said yes. Perhaps glaucoma tests are included as part of regular exam unlike in the past (at different doctor offices) I opted for the extra test. I was in and out within 15 or 20 min. The LensCrafters staff was waiting for me and escorted me next door to their store. This was great because some locations are so busy it takes a while to get someone to help you. Overall- a relaxing and seamless experience! I'd recommend this practice.

For my last appointment, I messed up the schedule (no reminder from the office), I thought my appointment was half hour later than my actual appointment. While I was almost at Tysons Mall, I received a phone call from the front desk asking if I was going to be there. That's how I realized i put down the wrong appointment time. So I asked the front desk should I reschedule the appointment. Knowing I was already almost in the garage, the receptionist told me I can still come in. So I arrived 10 minutes late for my actual appointment. When I arrived, the technician promptly took me to do a quick examination and sent me to the room for Dr Son to arrive. Dr Son came in without any greetings, no facial expressions. I immediately apologized for being late. He had no response to my words. Immediately he started the vision test, but very obviously not as thorough as before. He finished the examination quicker than usual and told me my vision hasn't changed a bit. I told him I feel my current contacts can't see far enough, I wanted to adjust it more for driving. He told me I can see far enough according to the test he just did. Then walk out without a word. I looked at my watch, from the time I walked in until Dr. Son left the room, it's less than 10 minutes. For all the years I've seen Dr Son, this is the only time I had the schedule wrong and arrived late. I don't think I deserved the passive aggressive attitude from him. If I was really that late or caused any inconvenience for his time, they could simply reschedule me. Not going there again.

The earliest appointment I could get was on June 23, almost a month and a half away. To make it worse, although I live in Tysons Corner, I could only get an appointment in their inconvenient (to me) Chevy Chase office instead of their Tysons office. At the appointment, instead of updating my prescription, the doctor prescribed medications for supposed problems that have never been diagnosed before. I now have to go back to that inconvenient office on August 31, which means I'm stuck with my outdated prescription until at least sometime in September -- unless they come up with another excuse to delay things even further. From first doctor appointment, it is going to take at least four months to get glasses with a current prescription. That kind of delay is entirely una.

Ekaterina is unprofessional, displays attitude in conversation and tone and is a poor representation of the practice. Working in healthcare, I am well aware of frustrations with insurance companies and knowledge of social determinants of health, so it is disheartening to encounter other personnel in the field who are poorly versed in competence training and present judgmental, rude, and unprofessional demeanor in the healthcare office setting.

For over 10 years, Dr. Davidson has thoroughly and comprehensively examined my eyes and vision. It is never routine with him and he makes sure that any and all issues are addressed--never rushing. He has a very warm demeanor and it shows that he cares. Unlike the other reviewer, I've never seen the office in disarray in my over 10 years there. I only have one low point to mention, and that was when he told me I shouldn't box anymore due to my over-stretched retina. I hope to visit him again when I'm back east. Addendum - Wow, I just read the one filtered review. Sounds BOGUS to me. In over TEN years there I've never experienced a bad receptionist, dirty office, an angry Dr. Davidson (??), pressure to use Sterling, or hidden charges. I actually have to have additional testing done due to high pressure in my eyes and he always gives me the option, along with the full information that I need. Thank you, I rest my case.

I have been getting my glasses (2 pair for $99 deal) at MyEyes in Falls Church for a few years now. I really like the customer service there. So, I gave them a call and asked how much an eye exam was with their doctor. I used to have eye insurance and went to MyEyeDr in Ballston (and hated them). I have Tricare now through my husband and there's no eye coverage. I was told if I had "normal vision", meaning no stigmatism or out of the norm issues then it would be $99 for both a contacts and glasses exam. Otherwise it would be $109 (I think...maybe $107? I think it was $109). They had to give me the number to Dr. Larson, his office is not combined with MyEyes' location. Dr. Larson is right next door. I called on a Saturday at 4 PM and got an appointment for Monday at 4:40 PM, which was awesome for my work schedule. When I arrived to my appointment I filled out paperwork and then waited. He was about 20 minutes late, but that's usual with any medical office. He was super nice, he didn't have a nurse or tech come out to get me, he himself did. I went back with him and he was super nice, very talkative, very personable. I recognized his accent and asked him where he was from. He asked me to guess and I said Boston. I was correct. Being from New England myself I said, "Well, no wonder I like you!" He was very thorough with my exam and very realistic. One of my eyes had changed a bit but the other was the same. He asked me if I wanted two different prescriptions or the same for both eyes to keep it simple. I asked if I would notice and he said it was such minute difference that probably not. I decided to stick to one prescription for both. I also had been having terrible dry eye problems with the contacts I was given and unable to change by MyEyeDr at my last eye exam over two years go. I hate paying for unneeded exams and I just wanted to switch back to the Acuvue Oasys that I loved and MyEyeDr wouldn't let me without an exam. I was so irritated that I just ordered another year's worth of the Biofinities online. Dr. Larson put me back in Acuvue Oasys with Hydraclear and said if I had any problems with them I could always switch them out. When I went to check out the woman at the front desk gave me both my contacts and glasses prescription with ALL the needed information, no questions asked. I was impressed. I have had the WORST time in the past with MyEyeDr in Ballston because there is some measurement, I think it's the PD ,that you need for glasses and they wouldn't give it to me. I told them it's my information to have, my medical information and they finally reluctantly gave it to me. It's because they didn't want me ordering my glasses somewhere else. I was so happy to have no problems here, I'm very happy and will definitely go back to Dr. Larson....although in another two years....because like I said, I don't like having exams unless something changes and I can get the second year's contacts supply right at the 11 month mark from now without needing a new prescription. :)

Thank God she told me or my eyes would have been permanently damaged. This is after two doctors associated with this group had cleared me for surgery. They suggested PRK instead which is extremely painful and has issues with healing properly. You need better people on your team and control procedures to avoid hurting people.
