Beautiful venue in Dublin, CA. Carolina, the Event Coordinator, was great to work with. She was patient with all of our requests, changes, and additions. She helped us move tables around to create a larger dance area and was available to us throughout set up and even after our event started. Our guests enjoyed the food that was chosen (see pictures). The only issue our guests had was there was only one bartender for the event. There was a long line for drinks for most of the night.

One of my favorite special places i love to DJ at. Amazing staff and catering. Great food options. Amazing reception room with a large bar nearby. And beautiful views of the hillside. Great for any party small or big. Wedding ceremony view is spectacular. Carolina is an amazing coordinator and very easy to work with. Lots of parking. And a gem on the hillside.

Great course at a great value. I was in town and played this course with a couple friends. Fairways were in good condition and greens were rolling firm. I would play again and highly recommend. 4 stars only because I didn't not get a chance to try the food.

$38 for weekday twilight. Short and hilly course with many elevation changes. A few tight spots and narrow fairways may eat up stray shots. Many holes are lined along the backsides of the master planned community. Views of the valley and the 580 freeway. Nobody was attending the snack shack when I check 3 separate times. I wouldn't want to play here on a busy day as the terrain doesn't really allow for speedy play. Carts are pretty weak.

Hole 1. Enjoy it now, it's the flattest you'll encounter for the next 17 holes. Lol

Not an old course with history/character. Probably born within the development boom of this town within the last 15 years or so, where they're developing into the hills eastward. Also very modern in that a housing community is imbedded into the development. Don't think you can build a golf course in a populated area anymore, without having housing all around it. But since this lies right in the middle of the rolling dry hills of Dublin/Livermore, they designed this to be links style golf, which is very open and exposed, much like what you will see in golf's origin countries of the U.K. So it won't be shady nor tree lined. It is a different brand of golf, that will polarize many golfers, as some love it but some will also hate or not care for it. I don't love it, but I do find it fun and challenging to attempt on occasion. I will admit that I wouldn't want to play this regularly, as it just takes a lot more from you to play. But here are some finds. On a weekend afternoon, it cost us $48 to play. Cart I believe was mandatory. It is a shorter course (par 60) so much more par 3's here. And because it is shorter, it by no means it is an easier out. ++Wide/very fair fairway landings. I hate narrow landings that penalize even if you hit it, but may not stay on. Many of us are never gonna be pros, were just out for a good time. When a course penalizes you more than it rewards you, it kinda takes the fun out of a round. ++Very well kept. Good condition from tee box to greens. Pretty lush grass. ++Many elevated views as you are deep into the hills. Nice contours and flow on most of the holes. The Negs: --Outside of the tee box, not a flat lie for the whole round. Typical links style. --Greens crazy large. Like an 80 foot putt is super common here. Makes even a 3 putt challenging. I struggled in this department on my out. --Crazy windy and exposed. Again typical links style. I was exhausted after a round here. --Poor yardage markers throughout the course. No markers on the sprinklers, basically just your 200/150/100 yard colored poles. For a modern course with a more upscale feel, this kinda baffled me. So I would still want to try this again some time to get a better feel on some of the holes aka redeem myself. It is hard to get a feel from a one time out. But I'm also not itching to come back, that links style is just too much work for me, when I'm supposedly trying to relax and have fun. *shrugs shoulders*

    2 Iron on 10. Short par 4

Absolutely love this course. A lot of people I know are reluctant to speak well about it because they see a par 63 and look towards Canyon or Las po-- when they still would shoot 20 over here. They don't know the hidden gem that DR is. I come out from Concord and my uncle comes from San jose and we play here every weekend because we love the condition and challenging parts of the course EVEN if the greens are humongous. We switch it up to the Blues every other round to alternate longer irons in play. The grass on the outside of the greens was a bit long the last two weekends, but made for a challenging second shot if we go left or right on the tee shot. My favorite greens in the east bay area. I wish there was a frequent flyer discount or a way to get our tee time for $45 on the weekends since we're here almost two times a week. The only critique-- Cart girls are a bit late to come around (but i assume maybe this is due to covid and staffing? If so, totally understandable) Nothing bad to say!

So I have very mixed feelings about this place. Some things are incredible. Some things are not…read moreso great. I am a member of the "Legends" club. So that to me means it's top of the line membership as indicated by their pricing and what we get. So I feel I should get top notch deals, pricing and service. Turns out, we get the same shaft as the lower club members. Starting with the good, the location is pristine. Nice area with lots of room for kids and adults to mingle and play. The wine is also pretty darn good. Of course there are some better than others but I enjoy most of their wine. The service is also for the most part very good. The waitstaff is very friendly and makes you feel welcome. Their food is also pretty darn good. It's not incredible, and a bit overpriced but it's fine enough. Their wine pricing is also fair (but of course with the highest membership we get the biggest discount). My biggest complaints would be the price gouging and lack of communication. We made arrangements on a Friday to show Sunday with 6 and asked for the "VIP space upgrade to lounge or upstairs Vista Patio Lounge (when available)". They said no problem. When we showed on Sunday they said it was closed with no notice. Just a sorry. OK whatever. We sit inside (6 people and 2 children) and they charge for 2 children a "non drinker" charge of $10 ($5 each). A head count charge for non-drinkers? For children? Total nonsense! I am spending over $1,200 a year here and you want to gouge me for someone's kids? Their tastings are $40 a pop which is really crazy. Our price is waived on this so that's fine but if you are not a member you are paying a lot for a little. The wines do take a bit of time to come and they don't give you a lot. Kind of a bummer waiting for the taste. We ended up with 4 appetizers (sliders $24, Charcuterie $25, Tater Tots $12 and Pretzel Bites with Grilled Sausage $16) 2 bottles of wine and $4.25 for water and the bill was over $250. Oh and top that off, with 6 people, they charge a mandatory 20% on the bill for a tip and are basing that with taxes (as the button default), not the actual sub-total so they are actually getting about 23%. All in all, I am not sure that the cost is worth what you get. I mean we are giving them a lot of money just to be members and then having to pay more and more for anything else that really should be included (like water and kids) makes this place just a bit too over-rated for me. Probably end my club membership in the fall and go someplace that doesn't place money first.

I say that so it helps the reader understand my perspective here in that, I'd stay with this chain again. All things being equal, I put it on par with a Hilton Garden Inn. The interior is nice and modern. For the most part, the hotel was pretty clean too. The staff was friendly. One thing I noticed is that there usually wasn't anyone at the front desk when I came down in the morning. In fact, when my room didn't get serviced the first night, I stopped at the desk to ask if I needed to request it. I stood there for about 5-7 minutes before I left because no one came out to help. That and the fact they don't put microwaves in the rooms were the only inconveniences I experienced. The rooms are quite small, but not too bad. I don't know how I feel about everything being in the same room, but at least there is a pocket door for the bathroom...but that is required by code. Lastly, if you are going to stay at this property, you need to be forewarned about the elevators. They are super slow. On at least 3 occasions during my week-long stay I had to wait 10 or more minutes for an elevator. Considering there are only four floors, I would have expected them to be faster. All in all, it was a good stay and I'd consider staying again. If you're in the Livermore area, and looking for a hotel, you should consider this one.

Gym was impressive for a smaller hotel, treadmills, free weights and a giant Smith machine with a bunch of stuff. The staff were incredible, special shout out to Jeanne R., for taking care of us so well. I remember going to bed at like 11ish, saying goodnight to Jeanne at the front desk. I get up to trade with the markets at six ish and she's still at the front desk when I went to get fresh coffee. Holy cow! She made our stay incredible pleasant and easy. The lobby is nice and quiet in the mornings to work, spent many hours with my dog like that. The free coffee 24/7 is not bad too. Slight issues...include the residential complex behind the hotel...there are some freaking psycho drivers and I almost got run over on the straightaway next to the backup generator. Not sure if anything can be done about that realistically. What else..the ethnic smells from the neighboring businesses are not fantastic...at all. Nor the 20-30 ethnic kids who show up to steal snacks every weekday afternoon. But man, a great spot in the Bay Area, two Costco's. Country Waffles nearby. Some of the best dim sum is here too with Mayflower (RIGHT OUTSIDE, YAY) and Koi Palace two blocks away. If you're into golf, Bridges is nearby with a beautiful course that's hard as hell. The Barn was the best fit for us. Things to note about the Barn: -There is an old wooden bar that you can move depending on where you want it -250 person capacity -There is a dusty smell to the Barn as it's older, with candles we didn't notice it -The Barn isn't super clean, there is a little bit of dust and cobwebs, but it is a barn afterall -The bathrooms are pretty minimalistic, the men's room actually doesn't have a door -There are big white panels on the indoor walls of the Barn which look great with uplighting -They make you have security, but it wasn't prohibitive or even noticeable -There is plenty of parking -They don't allow kegs -It is better for a night reception, as the night makes the Barn's flaws less noticeable -There is a minimal kitchen for a catering company to use -We rented chairs, tables, and a dance floor, rather than using what came with the Barn -They don't clean, so make sure you arrange for cleanup Overall it was perfect for our wedding, I just don't think it would be perfect for everyone's wedding. The LARPD staff were very easy to work with and we got our full deposit refunded without a problem. I'd recommend the Barn hands down for someone looking for rustic on a budget and at night :). In the end though because of the rainy weather it was meant to be because of everyone's safety. If you are creative this is the place for you (personally I'm not).
