My friend and I had a magificent time at Dua Lounge. The restaurant does have a dress code but is worth it. . Happy hour is from 5 pm to 8pm Hookah was offered and declined. However, the drinks were 10 out of 10. I started with a glass of bourbon and wound up with 2 more. We feasted on the hummus trio. The trio looked very appealing and the taste was out of this world. The night ended with a grateful belly and a quenched thirst. Always drink water between drinks. Dua lounge has it all, ambiance, attentive staff, indoor/outdoor seating and the drinks. Come where everyone will know your name. Come early and stay late, sit back, relax and unwind. Dua is worth it. Tre chic, upscale and welcome to Jacksonville!

Pleasantly surprised. Went in bad weather so had to stay inside. But they have a really nice patio for warmer weather. Nice vibe inside. Had a really good happy hour and food portions were large. 2 dudes in the place. The one was super Smokey from all the hookah. I would definitely go back.

Dua is a beautifully designed restaurant with a great atmosphere. The food was delicious, but the menu felt a bit limited and didn't offer many authentic Mediterranean options. I ended up ordering the Dua Shrimp, which consisted of Sautéed shrimp, capers, sun dried tomatoes, artichokes, garlic, fresh basil, olive oil & a baguette. Service was on the slower side, and a few servers came across as quite rude. Still, it's a nice spot to relax with friends, enjoy good music, and share hookah. The dress code is upscale, so no gym attire including sports sneakers, sweatpants, sweatshirts, or hoodies are allowed.

Was recently here. Let me me start by saying that the number on their website doesn't work and it's also the wrong number. Even after I double checked it and called the number the first time it sounded disconnected, and then when I attempted to call again the voicemail mentioned it belonged to a John. And I must say it wasn't super busy when we got there but it took about 20 mins for a waiter to come by and that was after we flagged someone down to take our drink order. They also gave us the smallest table for 4 people and for appetizers and our hookah. They were about to tell us to just place the hookah on the floor. I'm sorry but that would've been a hazard. Then they finally moved us to a booth. I'm giving this place overall a 4 because everything we ate was so delicious. And also if you aren't much of a drinker they also have mocktails which were tasty. The decor of this place is also beautiful.

We made reservations for a watch party. As soon as we arrived the hostess was super nice and directed us to our table. Our waiter immediately came and introduced himself to us and took our drink order. We had a few mocktails and one of us had a couple of drinks.. they were all delicious! We got a watermelon hookah and some salmon bites along with a "Girl dinner".... All of the food was great and the atmosphere was amazing! Definitely worth a visit! Shout out to Dylan for making us the BEST mocktails we have had in JAX!

The food was really good! I had the chicken kebabs with a village salad! It was fulfilling! The ambiance was very beautiful and relaxing! Great music and a nice atmosphere. Our waitress was the absolute best! Looking forward to going back!

This place is amazing with a delicious selection of Mediterranean food you can not go wrong. Located at 8532 Baymeadows road. The place is beautifully decorated with also an outdoor seating patio. Some booths are huge allowing for birthday gathering with friends or other occasions. We started with the trifecta hummus and the calamari is starter which was absolutely delicious. The hummus was rich and fresh and the olives and eggplant were perfection and flavorful. The calamari was tender as well but crispy on the outside which I love. We had fettuccine si funghi with add on shrimp. Creamy and perfect. Noodles were not soggy and tasteful not bland. Service was helpful and attentive. The wait was not long at all and we never had to ask for a refills with our drinks. Will definitely be back again!

Went here a couple times, once with a group of 4 at a table, then me and a friend at the bar. Both times the vibe was relaxing and comfortable. The music volume is just right to where you can actually have a proper conversation with people, whereas the other hookah places the music blaring. The food was great and the dessert was even better. I did notice they tend cater to the fancier crowd and that, in my opinion, determines the type of service you get. While the servers were nice, both outings the service was a little spotty compared to some of the higher end tables. At the group outing, we pretty much ordered all the desserts and they informed us they would be taking pics for their Instagram page, not a huge deal, and said they would comp the desserts. In the end, they did not take them off the check but it wasn't a big deal. The time with my friend at the bar, we were greeted and then. Sat at the bar, after ordering, my friend was informed he had to remove his beanie due to the dress code. The timing on that seemed iffy. None of it is a deal breaker for me, more than likely will return. Just some food for thought.

Had a great experience here. Music was great and they even had a dj at night. Food and drinks were amazing! Love the trifecta hummus dip and their chicken kebab. Overall, would definitely recommend. Will absolutely be back again

Food is amazing, drinks are great and service and management is unmatched. Sara and Ava are amazing and very attentive to the customers. Both have gone above and beyond for me on different occasions that I have been there. 100000000/10. Def recommend. Hear for a date night with friend or alone, or girls night.

Salmon bites. Kind of like bang bang shrimp, but salmon.

There was nothing about this place we did not like. Came in on a Thursday night. Reservation was easy to make, but def suggest making one as it does get busy. The place was empty when we arrived and packed by the time we left. Dua is a vibe. Clean and stylish without feeling cramped and stuffy. I even commented to my guest how good the ventilation was because every other table had a hookah going, but it wasn't smoky and the scents weren't overpowering. Onto the food. Not a complicated menu, which I can appreciate. We ordered the salmon bites and hummus trio for appetizers. Both tasty and fresh and full of flavor. The portions were also generous. I had the buttered salmon as an entree, Brussels on the side for an up charge. Again, big portion. We also tried the seafood pasta and if there ever was a flavor bomb, that was it. It's not the cheapest, but also not the most expensive on price point. Everything was delicious.

Went here for date night and the food was fresh and amazing. Just so you know they don't have cocktails yet just wine and hookah. I loved the red wine I drank. We started with a charcuterie board that was well prepared with olives, fig, three cheeses and a variety of meats. For the entree my boyfriend and I had the filet. Mine was medium rare cooked to perfection with a side of vegetables. Will be coming back again. Only knocked off a star for the service because the server was a little bit slow with our table and inattentive when we wanted to refill our wine.

I chose Dua for a bday dinner with a friend. We love Mediterranean food and this place is brand new. Dua is beautifully decorated inside and the service was prompt and friendly. Only feedback is they keep it kind of cold and I'm guessing bc of the hookahs. I intended on enjoying a hookah while we ate but we got sidetracked so I will def be going back. The hummus platter and charcuterie are large portions and filled is up where we unfortunately were not able to try other dishes. Cocktails were very tasty. I had the Airmail and it was soooo good. I will be back soon to indulge in hookah and try other dishes. Loved the location and atmosphere.

The details from ceiling to wall to all the fixtures, it's very immersive, you are in the islands sir or ma'am! Goodbye Jacksonville! We were seated up front where performer Kalani Rose set the mood and infused the air with her lovely voice. The tempo was upbeat, the volume was just right, allowing for intimate conversation and lively chatter alike. Great for date nights and group outings. We ordered food including Aloha Sliders, Huli Huli Wings , and Furikake Fries. Food was good, would've loved more of the glaze on the mini burgers tho! The drinks we ordered included Mai Tai (rum based w/ orange ) and Halekulani (bourbon with pineapple orange and lemon) , these were delicious. A bit on pricey side but strong! But, you're paying for the presentation and the atmosphere! If you've ever been to the old tiki lounge off baymeadows from years past, this one is much better! The entire staff is so cool. It has officially become my go-to destination whenever I visit Jacksonville and want to get out of the house and actually enjoy my night. First off, the service here is top-tier. The staff is attentive, friendly, and they genuinely make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. And the food? It's consistently delicious. I recently had the salmon, and it was cooked to perfection--flaky, flavorful, and better than what you'd find at most dedicated restaurants. It's rare to find a lounge where the kitchen keeps up with the quality of the atmosphere, but Trio pulls it off effortlessly. Now, let's talk about the main event. In my opinion, Trio offers the best hookah in the city. The pulls are smooth, the flavors are bold, and the setup is always clean. Whether you're a seasoned enthusiast or just looking for a relaxing smoke, you won't find a better experience elsewhere. The Vibe: It's a true kick-back atmosphere. It's sophisticated and lively, making it the perfect middle ground for those who want to socialize without the deafening noise of a nightclub. The Crowd: Be warned--this place is a local favorite for a reason! It gets rather packed on the weekends. Reservations: To ensure you aren't stuck waiting, I highly recommend reserving a table in advance if you're planning a weekend visit. I can't recommend Trio Hookah Lounge enough. Whether you're there for the vibes, the incredible salmon, or the smoothest hookah in town, you're guaranteed a great time.

My fried chicken sandwich was well-cooked but a little salty. My husband's mango habanero wings weren't spicy, but he still liked them. Drinks were hit or miss. The spicy margarita had heat but no sweetness (not my favorite), and the espresso martini leaned more bitter than balanced. I also got a chocolate martini that was good. My hubby ordered a Elijah Craig whisky flight for $24. He liked the opportunity to explore different whiskeys. The service was good considering homeboy was tending the bar AND running around being the waiter for every table (he was the only waiter/bartender). He held it down! We eventually had to go to the bar just to get drinks, and the bartender was the only friendly and attentive person we encountered the whole night. We also tried to play pool. We got dollars from the bartender and went to a table, but a very intoxicated woman claimed the table was "hers," even though she had not paid and was waiting for someone else to give her money for it. No staff stepped in to manage the situation. After one drink, we decided it was best to leave. Unfortunately, the lack of service and overall atmosphere made this a very poor experience.

I'm a white woman married to a Indian man and I love Indian food. I cook it quite well so when I eat out for Indian food, I have very high expectations. Ironically, I have a much higher spice tolerance than my husband. But whenever he orders and ask for medium spice, it's exactly right. But whenever I order and ask for a medium spice it's nowhere near spicy enough. I don't know if that is just because I sound like I can't handle my spice, but it happens every single time. But getting onto the actual taste and quality of the food. Their Panera biryani is one of my favorites, though I do like their veg biryani more my husband first appear so we usually settle for paneer. It is perfectly cooked so fluffy and delightful and oh my goodness is it abundant. One $15 container will make at least four meals. My husband and I will get one box and share it for lunch or dinner and then put it away because it will be another lunch or dinner later. And it's not like we eat a little we eat a full plate and this box is stuffed to the brim. Service--8/10. My only complaint here is regarding service. It can take a while sometimes to pick up your order, especially when they first open. And I'm not saying it takes time for it to be available because I will often arrive and see it sitting on the shelf, but no one is at the front counter to check me out. I have honestly never dined in at this location so I can only address the service in the aspect of takeout orders. Atmosphere--10/10. It is a very centralized location and a nice strip mall with accessible parking and ample at that. The interior is quite nice and what you'd expect in an Indian restaurant with beautiful cultural pieces around the interior. So if you are looking for a place to eat in this would definitely be atmospherically a nice place.
