Searching for new running shoes at 63 YO after not running for a bit, I visited this store because friends had always recommended it. Now I see why, worth the trip to Boulder! I hit the jackpot, as staffer Mike was excellent, with exceptional knowledge of his store, running, and shoes in general. Personnel greeted us warmly. They have a techy sensor pad that examines your feet and makes suggestions about sizing, type of shoes, and brands, then makes suggestions, taking so much of the subjectivity out of the equation. Mike knew his stuff and gave me a pair of options. Both were extremely comfortable and had a great feel. It was a tough call, but the New Balance option emerged victorious and was on sale! They also have a Happy Fit policy, backing up your purchase for 60 days, and will price match. I added some summer running gear and nabbed a calf sleeve Mike recommended with solid reasoning and measurements. In addition, they have incredible apparel and a running club that prepares people for distances and races. Boulder Running Company has joined Fleet Feet, the largest running specialty retailer in the nation. What a great pairing, helping people like me looking for running advice. This will end up being my Go-To running store.

Unfortunately, I showed up 30 minutes before close, but all of the staff was accommodating for me staying a few minutes after close to finish my purchase. Gina, Isaac, and Sawyer all helped me through different parts of my shopping experience. I also came away with a Fleet Feet exclusive for my shoes. My only wish would be for it to have a treadmill for trying out the different shoes. I would wholeheartedly recommend going to Fleet Feet for your running needs!

I bought boots from Whitesides in Greeley and I wore them twice. I noticed a big glob of glue in…read more two places on each boot at the seam of the sole and barely touched it and it came off exposing where the seam of the sole was coming apart from the the boot. I wear these for dancing so I knew they would not last well. I took them back to the store and I was immediately told that because I wore them I could not return them or exchange them. I had brought my receipt, the box, and everything for the boots. The employees were extremely rude and the manager took one of the boots back to a male employee who tried to tell me the boots were fine and it didn't matter because it looked like I had wore them alot and since I wore them outside they would not take them back. I told him I would make sure that people were aware of their purchases there and how even when they sold defective boots they could not be returned. He was extremely rude and condescending, and his hands were shaking like a little chihuahua as he put the cardboard back in the boots. He obviously knew that the boots were defective and he didn't like being called out. These were only one of many boots I had purchased through my life and it completely baffles me that a store would not return a boot they sold that was obviously defective, and on top of that treat a customer so rude. I would stick to Boot Barn or somewhere else before I would ever purchase anything from this store again. They obviously sold a boot they knew was defective by the big glob of glue they put on it to hide the defect and then refused to exchange it. I have never had a problem returning a boot that I had a problem with before worn or not. You're definitely better off staying away from this store if you don't want to waste your money. I would never trust these people to stand behind their product which makes me wonder about their products.

I was BLOWN AWAY by the great customer service I experienced with Pedestrian Shops. I ordered two pairs of minimalist running shoes which arrived in a reasonable amount of time (5 days which I consider reasonable shipping by USPS during the pandemic). Prices were reasonable, especially since I used a promotional code that they offered. One pair of shoes was unfortunately slightly too big, so I emailed Pedestrian Shops about doing an exchange. They responded quickly and offered to drop off my replacement pair at my doorstep! I only needed to wait a day before I had my replacement pair in my hands. Kudos to Zoe Polk and the team at Pedestrian Shops! They will definitely get my business again!

She said they would match that price if I could prove that to her. I said I had a piece of paper in my car that had a photo of those Stegmann shoes and the price on it. I walked back to my car and got it, and she then told me it wasn't the same shoe when they were identical. I had the photo there to show her. I buy mostly Clarks shoes. That's what fits me best, especially their classic styles. This store has a children's department with very nice things, but that does cut down on the offerings for women. The selection for men and women in the Boulder store is a little larger so I often buy there too. Nice people in both stores.
