I just got to experience working with Jacquelyn-the owner of Bridal Connection. She's an amazing seamstress with an incredible gift of guiding my friend to the right wedding dress. She takes everyone's opinion to heart and has a great eye to point out the plus and minutes of each dress. We all enjoyed watching our friend go in and out, as she tried on an assortment of different styles. Did I say the collection of dresses here is perfect? Truly. Why waste your time driving up and down the Front Range when there is the perfect location to buy your dress locally? Go talk to Jacquelyn. You will not be disappointed. read more

Absolutely terrible communication. I had to go through this branch for a friend of mine's wedding and I cannot emphasize the lack of information I have gotten. Do not expect for them to answer your calls and do not trust the posted hours on their website (or even their door for that matter). After ordering my Tux, they forgot to provide my shoes. While there's always mixups and mistakes, I called several times with no response. They ended up dropping it off to another customer with no communication to me. While the size of my tux fit great, I heard from many in my party that the suits were smaller than they expected. Finally, while they posted specific drop off times, I arrived an hour and a half prior to close and the place was already closed. I can not speak for the Wedding/Prom Dresses side of this business, but would I would recommend anyone to find somewhere else to get a tux. read more

I cannot say enough good things about this shop and the owner. She was beyond amazing and helped make my wedding day even more special. She met with me whenever I needed to, to help fix my wedding dress and was with me through the whole process. I bought my dress from her and also got my alterations done through her. She is so talented and the final product was everything I dreamed of. She worked with me on finding time that we could both meet and dedicate to my alterations and also was so communicative when I had any questions or concerns. Cindy. Is. Amazing. Literally, on a Sunday at like...5:30 I find out they're having a trunk sale in the store and it's for a designer I have liked. My Mom happens to be in town...so we run over thinking, worst case: they're closed. Well, with fifteen minutes to go before closing officially...they let us in, and were gracious, amazing, helpful and wonderful. I ended up buying a dress...or paying for one anyway. I was a bit torn, it was...too..."trendy" for lack of a better description. If I paid then, I got a discount...if I waited, I didn't. Cindy said she'd hold the order til the following Friday, I could call and cancel anytime in between. I called the next day, went in, picked up the check, and came home. Why? Because even if I ended up spending more, or ordering the same dress, I'd rather have the dress that didn't make me go..."well, maybe if I had kept looking..." A month or so later, I was traveling and in Texas, found a big "Designer" store for the designer I liked. I hated the experience, but I DID find a dress that I loved. I took a picture of the style number tag...and went back to Cindy. The dress was a "test" dress, only available in certain stores to see how it would sell, and as such, they weren't going to let me order it. Cindy talked them into it....with a discount. ;) Not only did I get the dress I wanted, I got excellent service. I ordered all apparel for the wedding through them...and my husband rented his tux/etc from them as well (which he kept as a secret from me...whatever, Cindy made sure he didn't pick anything horrible!) read more

This is my 100th review and I'm excited to be writing this review as a 5-star one. :) As my fourth appointment at another bridal boutique, I am finally happy to see this was hands down my best experience thus far and I mean overall. Kimberly was very helpful and they have their dresses separated in each corner. I had a specific dress and designer in mind so I picked dresses from just one corner. I picked about 8-10 gowns to try on, there was another specific dress I wanted, which unfortunately they didn't have. But they did have the other gowns I had my eye on. Kimberly set me up in my room and let me get the dresses on then helped me zip/button up along with clipping me in to get the dresses a little bit more form fitting. She also provided us with bottles of water as I was trying on the dresses. I loved their dress selection compared to the last two boutiques I have been to. Also since this was my fourth appointment with a bridal boutique, I was able to breeze through the dresses I definitely didn't like because I was starting to narrow down my selection knowing what I ultimately wanted. After I tried on my dresses, one of my bridesmaids was with me and since they carried a bridesmaid dress I had my eye on, we got her into the fitting room too. Kimberly also helped clip her in too. I haven't said yes to my dress yet, but I'm definitely going to be saying yes to a dress that I have tried at this boutique. :) read more

What a great experience, even under major pressure! My fiancee and I both found dresses we loved and ordered them. The staff was wonderful, never blinked an eye at the fact that we're both women, and wanted to make sure we didn't accidentally see each other's dresses (until we wanted to see them). The dresses arrived earlier than expected. Then...major snag. I had ordered a beautiful Maggie Sottero in a size 4. The dress that arrived had a size 4 label but actually measured as a size 2. Re-ordering would mean the dress wouldn't arrive until a month before my wedding, giving me barely enough time for alterations. The staff was on in IMMEDIATELY; they called Maggie Sottero and fit me in for an emergency appointment to try on new dresses. I got there and the staff had pulled 4 dresses that were close to the style of the Maggie. Two were almost exact, which was good because we commissioned wedding art that was based on our dresses. One of the Alfred Angelo dresses was almost identical; it actually looked a little better on my short frame than the original Maggie. It fit almost perfectly, so Cindy offered to sell me that exact dress and took off 20% because "they had inconvenienced me." Well, the Bridal Connection certainly had not inconvenienced me; the entire problem was the fault of the dress designer. The Bridal Connection staff bent over backwards to make sure I had a dress I loved and had it in plenty of time. In summary: the staff is wonderful, the selection is surprisingly large, they carry major designers, and the prices are extremely reasonable. Far superior to bridal shops in Boulder and Denver. Bonus: the Brooklyn Deli is next door, so you can enjoy an egg cream (east coast thing), New York bagels, and great matzo ball soup after you're done shopping. read more

I think I probably would've had a better experience here if I had been working with Cindy. The person that I was with didn't seem to be able to grasp the style I liked even when I blatantly pointed to the bride trying on dresses next to me and said, THAT is the style of dress I want. She was balancing answering the phone with helping me and many times when I opened the dressing room door to have her button me up she wasn't around. (I did have an appointment, It's not like I was a walk-in). Prices were a bit high here and rather than helping me find dresses I would like that would also fit my budget, I got one-liners like, "wont you regret it on your wedding day if you don't get the more expensive dress that you like?" NO, I will regret going over my budget, I'm looking for a dress I love that I can also afford :) There were a few dresses that I went to try on that were a bridal size 4 or 6.. My street size is a 6 and I am not insecure about my figure, but I tell you.. when I tried to put those on I felt horrible.. Why would the sample sizes be soo small?? How can women size 6 or larger try on some of these styles when you just have the smallest little sizes to try on. The attendant said "don't feel bad about your size" ....... I never have, but now I feel like shit.. thanks! After that I was just mentally done and wanted to leave.. Looks like other brides had great experiences here, so maybe it was just me! read more

This is by way the WORST bridal experience I have had so far. I had high hopes coming into the store considering I found some of my most memorable dresses here from the past. However, I was informed the store is under new management and it shows. The woman that helped us was not helpful at all and looked at me like I was an idiot for asking if they had a sale going on. It's not like these are extremely high quality either so I'm not sure why that would be a ridiculous question. She had a horrible attitude clearly was not meant for this job. Went in with a friend who is getting married in July. The owner came in just for her on a Sunday, when her shop is normally closed. I was skeptical at first when we walked in because the interior is dated, but Cindy pulled some fabulous dresses which I wished I would have seen in my own search for a wedding gown. She was so patient and accommodating. My friend ended up buying a dress at Bridal Connection and even if she didn't, the service was worth the drive from Littleton. The price points suit all budgets. Cindy and Kim we're Ah-Mazing!!!! They are so helpful and really listen to what the bride wants. I went in solo to look at wedding dresses and felt like they were friends after an hour. So great! I had an amazing experience here! I have been to 4 or 5 bridal boutiques and this store by far had the best customer service, Kimberly helped me and she was amazing! I ended up finding my perfect dress at another store that had horrible customer service, so I looked up the designer and saw that the Bridal Connection carried that designers gowns as well. I had such a wonderful experience here that I went in to have my measurements taken and ordered the dress from Kimberly!!! My husband took my son to get his tuxedo for prom. My husband said the lady helping them was wonderful. She was the only one working, but had multiple people she was helping and neither my son nor my husband felt ignored. Excellent customer service! Such a refreshing experience considering we have been to two different rental places and received HORRID service. Will go back to Bridal Connection for tux rental in the future. read more

A VERY far drive, but worth every mile. The most reasonable prices by far. No pressure, nice, friendly, and knowledgable sales consultants. I found the perfect dress after lots of shopping at other stores we were able to find exactly what we were looking for. I went to 2 different bridal salons looking for my perfect wedding dress, and this was my favorite by far. They have tons of beautiful dresses, in a variety of price ranges, and the store is spacious. I found so many dresses that I loved here in different shapes and they have the dresses sorted by silhouette. Emily was so kind and helpful and very easy to get along with, and made my experience wonderful! I went back a second time to try on more dresses, and it was an equally great experience the second time around. I want to go back just for fun! I love love love this store. There is plenty of room in the store for people to join you, and the dressing rooms are large. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. read more

These gals are the absolute best, sweetest, and most helpful ladies ever!!! I would recommend The Bridal Connection in Longmont hands down over any other bridal shop in northern Colorado! They made everything so easy, fun, and stress free! They even remembered my name when I popped in without an appointment to try my dress on again, and they always greet everyone with a smile and a cheerful hello as soon as they walk in the door! I went to several other bridal shops before ending up here. I was hesitant at first because the location is not the best I've seen. The staff are so helpful and nice compared to the other places I went. Also, their prices are unbeatable. I found the dress I wanted at another shop but the service was horrible. After researching online, I found out that Bridal Connection carried the same designer. To my surprise I was able to get the same dress for 1/2 the price. I'd definitely recommend this shop to future brides in the area! read more

Offended by how poor the service was, they should be ashamed of how they treated me. I made an appointment weeks in advance and drove quite a long way. When I called to make the appointment I was assured that this was not like David's Bridal- the bride would have her own consultant, who would pull gowns, assist me in dressing, etc. When I arrived and checked in, however, I was ignored. I pulled 5 gowns and asked for a fitting room. There were 2 bridal consultants helping one "bride" (who had no ring and looked all of 16) and both of them helped her rather than "my consultant" assisting me when I arrived. And I have a decent dress budget, nothing to scoff at or ignore. The dresses were corset lace-up backs and I was told I had to lace myself up. How am I supposed to do that on my own? I struggled and struggled on my own before asking for help. The woman (short, blonde) actually sighed and rolled her eyes at me before reluctantly lacing me up and leaving without a word. Finally my mother, who has trouble standing for long periods of time, came into the dressing room to help me since they refused. Both she and my father were shocked at how poorly I was treated. One gown I wanted to try on was a size 6- not at all a true sample size since bridal salons typically order sizes 10-14, as smaller brides can be clipped in but a size 12 like me can't even hope to squeeze into a 6. I asked if there was a larger sample of that or a similar dress since I liked the cut, and the consultant responded by saying "we get sizes 2 and 4 brides in here, and we'd rather cater to them." Wow! Talk about rude. I also expressed interest in a gown on a form in the window. While there wasn't another sample, they told me they would take the gown down from the window so I could try it and then never did so. Finally I was so emotional and disheartened by the experience, being made to feel a second-class citizen since I arrived, that I gave up and put my clothes back on to leave. When we passed by the consultant on our way to the door, I said "Since you don't have time to help me today we're just going to leave." Instead of apologizing or stating that she did in fact have time to help me, she said "OK" and gave us a blank stare that clearly conveyed her wish for us to leave. Shopping for a dress should be a happy occasion, and I left near tears. DO NOT go to them. They provide no help at all and cross the line from unhelpful to downright rude. They should be ashamed for treating brides this way. read more

Very disappointed on the customer service we received at my daughter's appointment. Our oldest daughter had bought her dress there so of course my 2nd daughter wanted to go there. We had an appt and were on time. There were only 2 staff members working and they had multiple brides either there by appt or they had just shown up. The store only offers a love seat and two table chairs. We had a hard time getting anyone to help my daughter with clipping her dress and I was never once offered at least a folding chair to sit in after being there for 2 hours.... At one point one of the other customers in the store asked me where my bathroom was and I said I don't know, I don't work here and she laughed and said Oh, I assumed since you have been standing around here that you must work here... Just sad that it wasn't a great experience for myself or for my daughter... We are spending a lot of money in the store as did my first daughter... Really feel like if they are going to book so many appts that they need more staff or at the least, a person who made an appt should get attn over someone who just walked in... Within 30 mins of us arriving, we had lost the staff member to another party that came in. read more
