Over the course of 6 months and traveling for work to different houses, I ended up last Monday not only scraping the front side of my car but actually cracking the front bumper and side fender. I was furious with myself. I had remembered Daniel as being honest and forthright in another interaction I had with him and my old vehicle but for insurance purposes I had to go through another place. I brought my car to Daniel for an estimate and explained the situation. Daniel immediately got online and priced out the parts needed and estimate. I was able to bring in my car the next day. Over the next 3 days his crew of guys got the parts ordered, primed, painted and put back together. I was able to get my car back for the weekend. They were washing and cleaning the entire vehicle as I came to pick it up. I was super impressed with the price and quality of work. Daniel and his guys work hard. He started his business out of his driveway and you can tell his passion for what he does comes through in every aspect of his work. I would have liked a little more communication on readiness but knowing how hard they were working to get my car back to me Friday night it was entirely understandable. Daniel is a great guy who really wants to help his customers-- and even those who aren't yet customers! Yesterday I requested a quote through Yelp and added photos of my bumper falling off. I did the damage myself so would have to pay out of pocket. Daniel responded quickly via Yelp messaging to say that I might not need a whole new bumper and to swing by anytime. I went by today and his suspicion was correct; it was just that there was a bracket missing that holds it in place on the side. He happened to have a used one that his guy dug out after they thought they tossed it (thanks Santiago!) and offered to install it at no charge. It needed some Macgyvering and he was done in fifteen minutes. I was thrilled about not needing a whole new bumper and tried to give him money. He kept refusing. He said he just wants to help people out and only asks to bring my car back if I have needs. GO SEE DANIEL! He's had the shop for about five months and I really want to see him do well. I pulled up to this newly owned shop about five months ago to see if they can remove the transparent packing tapes that I had temporarily put in to hold the safety rubber parking bumper underneath the front of my car. The flood water from months back had surprisingly knocked my rubber bumper out of place and left it hanging close to the ground which to say the least is a safety hazard. Daniel the new owner came out to greet me. He quickly had his two technicians remove the sticky transparent tapes and restored my bumper to its proper place within 15 minutes. I offered to pay but he did not want to take my money. I was overall impressed with Daniel's quick willingness to help and his care for new customers like me. I drove right into an assigned parking spot column and found myself in a front bumper repair nightmare or so I thought. I reached out to the owner on a weekend knowing response time would be zero until following business day. Minutes later I received a notification from the owner with an estimate. I was surprised so I gave him a call to discuss details. Before I knew it, parts had been ordered and a date was set for the repair. While we waited for parts to arrive, I was given updates every step of the way. I was notified when the parts had landed and when they were painted. I appreciated the transparency. On repair day, I drove up to the shop and was greeted by the owner with instructions to wait at a waiting area. The entire repair took less than 45 min. I went in to get my driver side door/fender repaired through my insurance. Daniel was very helpful and I didn't have to pay my deductible which was awesome. I expected it to take a while because I know they have other car to deal with. But the wait was worth it because they did an amazing job! Now my car looks better. I was looking for a body shop to help me with installation of a sideview mirror, and I had actually arranged one in the Concord area, but they wouldn't put on the mirror unless they ordered it themselves. Since I was able to get one ordered by a friend who works for Toyota and it was ordered directly from the dealer and was a brand new, original part (for hundreds less than the one the 'other' shop was trying to sell me), I found Restoration on yelp. They were the lowest estimate out of several that I received from businesses in the area. Daniel was okay with me bringing in the part and he had me in and out of the shop in under an hour (it was actually like under 30 minutes!) He even brought me over to the car to show me a couple of things with the wiring before he stitched her back up and made her look brand new again! I was extremely happy with his service and professionalism and felt like he was an honest person that I would be happy to have work on my car again, should it ever need more body work (which hopefully it doesn't). read more

Most body shops these days charge an arm and a leg because they're so use to the insurance checks. But Daniel is one of the rare few who will take small projects at fair prices with excellent quality. I brought him a fiberglass bumper for paint and he had it done the next day! He also had some high end builds in his shop so it's obvious he's the real deal. Glad he's local because I have other projects that I've been putting off. Provided a check to pre-pay for services. Was told they'd order the replacement hood. I waited patiently for 6+ months and calling only to be told the hood order was cancelled when the order was checked on. When asked to withdraw services, the money ($1800) wasn't returned, providing this business with a free donation, but no service. Wow. Right. read more

If I could give this place 6 stars, I would. Daniel (the owner) is an extremely kind and patient man who always makes time for his customers. I had recently been in an accident that was my fault and Daniel worked hard to get the best prices for the replacement parts. Not only that, but he texted me constant updates throughout the process--I was without a car for the shortest time possible. His price estimate and time estimate were both entirely accurate. Not only that, but when he decided the job done on my car wasn't quite good enough, he had me come back and gave ME gas money for it. He fixed everything and talked me through the whole process with a very patient manner. Very nice people to work with but the communication and service is very poor. A year and a half ago I had my car repaired from an accident and paid over $4000 in repairs, two times more than the estimation they gave me at first. I paid for several car parts and never received most of them, meanwhile they charged for services I didn't ask for. I also paid for some parts to be paint sprayed and the ones I did receive were done poorly. The owner stopped answering my texts once I paid and they rarely pick up the phone. I inquired about the things I paid for several times and never received an answer or call back on why it's taking so long to get when they apparently "were paint spraying it" over a year ago. Again, nice people but not reliable. Would not recommend. I would also like to say that I waited this long to do a review because the prior reviews made me choose this shop for my repairs so I wanted to give some time but it's been too long for comfort. read more

I couldn't be more pleased with the paint restoration performed by D's! I purchased a 2003 Jaguar XK8 two weeks ago, which had deteriorated clear coat on the hood, one front fender, and the top tail light housing, which detracted from the appearance and value of the car. I brought the car into the shop, and Jose guided my decision process by showing me a few paint matches that were already in progress on other cars. That gave me the confidence to go ahead with the paint restoration on my car. And, now that the paint work is done, I'm ecstatic with the results! D's was able to color match the new paint on the fender to the existing metallic gold paint on the door so perfectly that now I can't tell which panel is the freshly painted one! Now my 19-year old Jag's paint is restored to like-new condition! If i could have given 0 stars i would this place is the worst body shop in the county! They replaced my door and put no parts inside of it, no motor, no nothing even though all the parts from my old door worked! They jammed a piece of wood inside to hold my window up and thats the only thing inside my door! I didnt know this untill i had someone look at it because my window was falling! When i went to Daniel and asked where my parts were from my old door...of course he has no idea (even though he was one of the guys working on it! He then gives me the run around for months untill I called the B.A.R. on him and the B.A.R. made him give me my money back! If you are wanting a functioning car when they are done i suggest you take your car anywhere but here! This shop has no busisness being open, they will rip you off and think its cool! Ive already told everyone i know TO NEVER GO TO THIS SHOP THEY ARE A JOKE! read more
