Chris was excellent explaining what his company would do. We appreciate the immediate response and explanation

chris and is crew was very respectful, honest and did everything to my satisfaction and was very clean

Chris & Devin were GREAT!! Everything was taken care of in a professional & timely manner.

Drylux responded quickly and completed the water mitigation work at my home after a leak from the upstairs bathroom caused damage to the ceiling below. The tech were professional and dry-out work was completed. However, my experience with the billing process was very frustrating. I was never given a clear estimate or realistic pricing before the work started. The final invoice ended up being far higher than expected for the scope of work performed. Although a discount was eventually offered, the negotiation process involved repeated pressure regarding collection and leg action, including a 20-day preliminary notice. I ultimately paid the balance to resolve the matter, but I strongly recommend that customers carefully review all documents and request detailed written pricing expectations before authorizing mitigation work. Emergency restoration billing can become very expensive very quickly. read more

This team started with Darin coming over in the morning and checking how wet the walls were with a meter & after several insurance calls we called him back & ended up getting his guys to start the job late in the day, which was much appreciated! They were very precise with cutting out drywall and cleaning up afterwards. They also treated the walls and now have fans running to dry out the walls. Thank you all! read more

Chris did a great job of explaining what was to be done with the leaks we were having and what was required to fix them.

Chris did a fantastic job of finishing the dry out process, removed Drylux equipment, returning the appliances in the home to their proper places. All of Drylux employees that I have spoken to or met have been very professional and courteous and willing to answer questions. read more

Chris and Devin came and left equipment for drying the water damage. If they get called in, you can bet Hyperbuilt is coming next. Don't get sucked like me and agree to have Hyperbuilt do anything for your project because they have no integrity or work ethic. DryLux should be ashamed of themselves to refer reconstruction projects to Hyperbuilt. DryLux is engaging their customers during what is a very stressful moment and instead of trying to help their customers, they refer them to another company who adds to the stress. Just disgusting! read more

Had a hot water bust. Called home warranty and they sent out for plumber to come out for repair. Am Pm plumbing came out and said need to get restoration company out and I'm not sure who contacted Drylux know I didn't. They showed up in about two hours to start drying things out. Needed to replace the flooring where heater was to go back. They came out and did half ass job. Plumber came out to install heater and he even noticed not completed properly. He called his boss and boss was with Drylux manager and said they would come back out to finish it. Still have not been back. Insurance paid the bill..wish I could have stopped the payment. Drylux is a bunch of Scubags. Stay away from them, if you use them you will be sorry. Not even worth rating them. read more

Stay away from Drylux, they will take full advantage of you and your insurance company and give threats of liens on your home even when going through insurance. They no called and no showed several times to pick up equipment and then charged for the extra days. They bombard you in times of crises so you feel pressure to do what they are telling you. They preformed a few hours of work and set up blowers for a few days and ended up getting paid more than the contractors who had to take care of the rebuild. 9 months later and they are still trying to get more money out of the insurance company. They are not out to help people, they are out to take advantage of people. When I complained to Austin, he stopped responding and I never heard from him. Do not trust this company. read more

We had an under concrete leak in our laundry room. Walked in the room with 1/2 inch of water on the floor. We had Austin come out and schedule the repairs which made the process go so much smoother. The repair guys were there within the hour to stop the leak. Austin has scheduled the cleanup and build back. I didn't have the time or desire to deal with these issues and Austin has made the process much easier. Thank you Austin and DryLux. read more

Initially I had a leak spring inside my wall that I had called an emergency plumbing company to help fix my issue right away. The plumber then says I know a company that help with the mitigation for testing for water damage and asbestos (so naturally I said "great, please get them over here if you can"). Chinto the PM shows up promptly to help and he's a super nice guy to walk me through the process so no issue with him. Next morning the Drylux demo crew comes in and completely tears up quite a large section of my living room (more than I thought was necessary and leaves the dehumidifier blocks in my living room for 2-3 days so that was super fun to listen to and deal with. With my high insurance deductible I was hesitant to pay out of pocket for this because I thought It was going to be much lower than that. Turns out it was just slightly under, but still incredibly unreasonable in my eyes. Come to find out then that there are two separate charges from a company called Valley Environmental Services for $1200+ for testing and then Drylux for another $3000+ for everything else. They do not state that the mitigation and testing companies are sister companies of each other in their invoices. I felt completely nickel and dime for what I thought was a small project. I choose not to use Hyperbilt for the rebuild and honestly glad I didn't after reading all of these other reviews, so I used my handyman who was much less. In retrospect I wish I would have just settled with a plumber and my handyman which would have saved me thousands. Be advised. read more

DO NOT USE DYLUX RESTORATION. Total scam. I contacted Dylux Restoration on March 11, 2025, and left a voicemail about a plumbing issue I was dealing with. Crickets. No one called me back. The ONLY reason they finally contacted me on March 22 was because the person who referred me asked if they had ever followed up. Suddenly, they were interested--and insistent--about coming out to assess the issue. At this point, I still hadn't had a plumber diagnose the actual problem, so I was hesitant to have a restoration company come before anything was even fixed. But they pushed and showed up anyway. After their "assessment" and learning what my insurance deductible was, I magically became a "great candidate" for their services--services which apparently meant putting up humidifiers and fans BEFORE the plumbing issue was even addressed. When I asked why they were putting in fans before repairs had even been made, their answer was: "We need to show insurance we are doing something." Really? They then came out every single day for a week to "check their equipment," while still offering no plumber referral--which is baffling for a restoration company. They couldn't recommend anyone to fix the actual issue they claimed to be "restoring." Finally, after wasting an entire week, I told them to take their equipment out on March 29 because no repairs had even begun. Guess what? They tried to charge me over $3,000 for plugging in fans and pretending to help. But they generously only charged me $500. Are you kidding me? This company is shady, unprofessional, and opportunistic. I cannot say this loud enough: DO NOT USE DYLUX RESTORATION unless you enjoy burning your hard-earned money. read more

Justin came over and promised us if we went with him he would ensure both insurance claims got approved and would give us a discount and we wouldn't pay anything unless the claims got approved. He said he had to add fans to show insurance work was being done and do asbestos testing. He said there would be no charge for either and made us sign a contract that only said we would only use his company. Then radio silence- absolutely nothing he did not do anything with insurance did not act as a facilitator between us and insurance as he promised and stopped answered our calls and texts. We finally got ahold of drylux and told them to remove the fans as we were going to work with another company, and I confirmed yet again we wouldn't be charged for the fans since Drylux wasn't doing any work on the house. Since then one of their 5 or 6 "sister" companies have called and tried to extort money from us claiming we owe thousands- when we were NEVER told we would owe money for any of the "services". I have asked for the issues to be escalated and them to check recordings of my calls with them to hear their employees telling me I owe nothing on the fans, but get nowhere. Leaving this review is my last resort. This company is a complete and utter scam and am I am so disheartened to see how they continue to do this to others in other reviews. read more

Had them come out for a demolition and drying a wall that had moisture behind a leaking water heater. The demolition work was very clean, and I appreciate that they cleaned after themselves as well. However, the scope of work that was completed was less than the original estimate and when I asked if it changed the cost I was informed I "Was already getting a good deal". Believe every review you read about their costs and pricing. You would think with it being a recurring theme they'd address the issue. Their renovation sister company is also price gouging. The same repair they quoted me $2,000 for was done for $600 by a previous painting crew I've done work with. Use them for an estimate, get a handyman to come out and cut what's needed. Rent fans from Home Depot, you'll come out cheaper if not the same for the full project and repair. read more

Please read the bad reviews before using these people. I found out they work with a sister company that did not dry out our bathroom, and did not clean it. Terrible service. They said that we weren't going to have to pay out of pocket because they got the insurance under control. They were recommended to come out to do a moisture reading by "Near Me Plumbing" after a pipe burst in the shower. They came out to do a reading and found moisture in the bathroom, the hall, the room next door, and all the way into the kitchen. They helped us file an insurance claim, and before the demo was approved by the insurance, it was started and finished. Please do not allow them to demo, until your insurance assess the situation. They tore out way too much, and all so they can recommend their sister company, Hyper built...which was a nightmare. I gave them 2 stars because they were quick to demo, dry up the place, and were in and out in no time. As others have mentioned, they tore out way too much, just for billing purposes. read more

Buyer Beware!!! Do not do business with these people as they will overcharge you. I had a toilet overflow in a rental property of mine. It flooded the tile floor of a small bathroom and went out in the hallway. My tenants told me they were there the first day for about 3 hours max--and had a few workers just standing around and doing nothing. They did tear out about 15 square feet max of drywall and the baseboards. Then they put fans on it to dry out. Then they came 2 days later to pick up their fans & equipment. They claim they had over 33 hours total work on this job...not even close! I got a bill for $10,600!!!! WOW. Then they said they would reduce it to $7398 if I paid them cash. Absolute filthy greed!!! I offered them a fair settlement for their almost 4 hours of time, but they turned it down. They mentioned today they would turn me over to their legal department. I have contacted the ROC to file a complaint, the news channels and my attorney as well. Please stay far away from them as they are not fair and honest! If I could give 0 stars, I would!! read more

I would stay way from this company and will tell anyone who asks me the same exact thing. They addressed a leaking water heater issue late at night. At the conclusion of my dealings with them, I believe they have a practice of overbilling and overcharging. They have an appearance of using excessive equipment and padding their billing. In speaking with other entities in the same industry it is quite likely that Drylux uses the same equipment as others in the industry and the same billing program (xactimate) and yet their charges are significantly higher and somehow completely justified by their brass. I was ill informed and I believe they took full advantage of this. The situation was not as urgent as I had originally thought and my belief was Drylux was the proper entity to handle the situation. I was wrong. I had to make phone call after phone call to get information on my bill. It was not provided to me even though I told them I had changed my mind and wanted to do out of pocket instead of an insurance claim. They were hesitant to give me a break down of all work performed, labor costs, equipment costs, etc. I had to ask multiple times for that breakdown and invoice before they finally agreed to provide it to me. My original billing was nearly 3.5 times what another company quoted me for the same job. That company quoted me a total cost from start to finish including all repairs and replacement. The Drylux bill was for 14 hours worth of involvement, which did not even include complete drying of the moisture from the water heater leak. They offered to settle for a discount of more than 33%. Then attempted to raise the settlement amount by 20% because I did not accept it immediately. It was excessive, unreasonable and not customary to industry standards. In speaking with people that have knowledge of how Drylux operates, it might be in the best interest of people to become well educated on their business practices. Don't be fooled by the slick talking salesman. read more

This place is a joke...STAY AWAY FROM THEM. I had a plumber come out to replace a valve in my shower and these clowns showed up as well ( I did not call them) They had their "meter" say that there was 99% moisture behind my wall. They then tried to convince that they needed to rip up the floor (which of course I refused). They then decided to cut a hole in the wall to see if there was water and wouldn't you know it was completely dry, not even a sign of past water being present. After that they decided that they needed to do an asbestos test even though I had purchased the home a few years ago and it was asbestos free. Once they cut the hole in my wall as well as took out plug from another place in the wall, for the asbestos test they completely covered/sealed both places with plastic. Finally, they brought in industrial size fans, de-humidifier and hepafilter to "dry out" the moisture that was not present. The meter they had showed moisture and water but once the hole cut in the wall it was obviously bone dry. There was no reason for the equipment to be in my home as there was no moisture/water and not to mention the holes made where covered completely with plastic so what was the purpose. I got a bill for over $2000 for having two hole cut in my wall, an useless asbestos test and machines that were doing nothing. I was also charged $192 for them to take the piece if drywall and edge molding with them that I requested they leave since there was no damage or water and I was going to re-install it (so shady). Not to mention that I did not even call them out and still have holes in my walls and my baseboard is gone. This place is pathetic and a poor excuse for a professional business. BE AWARE AND STAY FAR AWAY FROM THESE CLOWNS. Im just glad I didnt let them rip up my floor for some "water" that was not present. read more
