Don't let me forget their labor effort estimates always lined up with my insurance adjuster/inspector estimates. Thus no "discrepancies" to address with my insurance. I should have done more research and gotten more quotes before hiring them. No 3 D renderings so bathrooms are not really what I wanted. Small details they said they would correct were never completed. Their design eliminated tbe outlets in my bathroom and they never put them in. A drawer is broken in bathroom and I was told a review board has to review before fixing. Plans kept changing and not good communication. I am not happy with quality of work. read more

Wow! Bryam and Manny were amazing. They were at my home in 25 minutes. They assessed my water damage and had fans and dehumidifiers set up within 30 minutes. They will ACT like they care....Great up until we didn't 'upgrade' choices because it was more money out of pocket....then they are asking for over $8000 more than agreed to!!! HD restoration was great when we had a leak in our roof that had to be rebuilt. They ended up coming right on time and completing the work properly (being timely is huge for me as schedule is tight with work). The only issue we had was their painter left a mess everywhere even with using a tarp. We had paint specks all over our door, tile and wall. They also dinged our cabinet door in the guest bathroom. However the owner did reach out and try to make it right through repairs and clean-up. I would recommend this restoration/rebuild company again, just make sure you keep and eye out on some of the work to double check. read more

We got flooded with Helene! Someone gave us the name of HD to do the tearout of the walls. Someone was here for an estimate (which I found out later was very high). After a few days and several calls and having to pay 50% of the total bill, they finally showed up. A lot of our walls were plaster and while here they told us that the plaster walls that were covering the original outside concrete block did not have to be cut. So about 20% of the plaster walls were undisturbed. After they were done, a couple of days later we found out from a GC and a city inspector that those paster walls should, in fact, be cut and removed up to a couple of inches above the waterline, as there is a "metal mesh" behind the paster that would rust, along with insulation. We have attempted to contact HD, to no avail. The "Interior manager" whom I happen to contact by accident told me she would reachout to the team. Several calls after that have been ignored, including to Kalee Ecalante, Josua Diaz (Project Manager) and even Connie Ammons (Interior Manager). These people AT LEAST should refund us 20% of our money, since the job was never finished. Our next move is to contact an attorney. We paid plenty for this unfinished job!!!! read more

They did my house two and a half years ago and they were supposed to put the best carpet as you can see it wasn't we live in the house prior before the flood our copper never did any of that wrinkled up never as you can see the countertops are lifting away from the wall I've had to patch things up off the wall because it's already came off the wall where it was just only showing the metal as you can see in the corner it's cracking and you can't tell me that it's settling because that's not it my paint is peeling everywhere in the house and this company will not even come to look nor fix it cuz they said it's only a 2-year contract and that was it which they got a hundred plus thousand dollars off of this claim very bad business read more

We landed on HD Restoration through an unfortunate event - as Im sure has everyone that has used them. We were selling our house and the inspector found a soft spot in the dinning room ceiling, just below our master shower. OYE! We called a plumbing company and they hooked us up with HD Restoration for the cutting and then repairing of the drywall. Because we'd already sold, we were in a MAJOR time crunch to get everything fixed before we closed on the house. Brittany stayed on top of it for us, found someone to come out VERY QUICKLY and the repairs look AMAZING! You cant event tell there was ever two huge cuts in the drywall! Thank you guys SO much for being so efficient, amazing and working with us and our crazy time crunch!!! My husband and I were faced with a water heater leakage incident earlier this year which called for immediate insurance intervention, water damage repair, carpet, tiling and other restoration services for our living area. HD Restoration company was assigned to our case by the insurance company and were, at every step of the process, there to answer our needs and stay a step ahead of the action over a protracted period of time. At every turn, HD Restoration was there to act as liaison between us and the various entities involved. In every instance, HD Restoration (and, in particular, their office manager) was always available to answer questions, and to act on our behalf. Two stars is generous and only given due to the fact that some of the subcontractors Rodney hired did fantastic work. Bathroom remodel estimated to take 6-8 weeks took over ten months. The guys he hired to lay the tile were clearly not professionals. They had to have another guy come out to "fix" their grout work and cut out and relay tile where the original guys didn't sequence the pattern. Chunks of grout come up daily still, and I have already paid to have actual professionals repaint the walls. His guys scraped the new countertops up when installing the sinks by sliding them across the top. So many other issues but I would fill the page if I wrote them all. Run fast and far away from this company-you will be thankful that you did. read more

SCAM! Mitch (premium restoration) and Rodney partner together to promise to have you pay less of your deductible to get your business but end up wanting to do less and have you pay more. We never saw an estimate or scope of work that was submitted to our insurance until the letter from insurance came 3 weeks later. When asking about allowance for the replacement vanity, they said I could use $600 and I would need to pay the difference if I wanted anything better but it clearly states on the insurance form that $1600 was the allowance for the vanity. When asked they said the difference was due to cost of labor and overhead/profit. 60% for labor + o&p?!? That's insane! Funny how they knew the allowance amount when they never had the insurance estimate form in front of them. On top of that, during mitigation of my bathroom, they took out a piece of baseboard in the hallway to make it look like the water damage reached there too. They submitted they would replace all the baseboards in the entire hallway. When asked about that, Rodney replied with "do you want us to do that?" Well yes, if you're charging me for it. Apparently I was "nickel and diming" them when asking about work they clearly weren't going to do. Stay away at all cost! read more

Cracked grout, wrong color grout, dirty stained work, horrible communication, no planning, over all just an unpleasant time working with this company. When ever I addressed my concerns, I was either ignored or talked down too. Also, it's not a cute look when your project manager (Rodney) says his employees don't know what they are talking about and not to listen to them. The project manager (Rodney) clearly didn't come to check the work when it was finished. The grout was supposed to be black. The example photos I send from floor&decor shows the tile I choose with black. I stated over the phone I wanted dark /black grout. You really have to baby sit this company if you want things done right, and even when you do, they still mess up. When asked to fix their wrong color choice, I was told the original project manager would not do it and would offer a $24 credit.... on a $13,000 project. How am I even going to afford the materials to fix the grout with that? The worst part though is the attitude, no communication, and zero planning with this company. Every day the workers asked us, the home owners, what work they were supposed to do, because apparently the project manager didn't tell them or set up a plan. My boyfriend had to draw a picture of how the tile was supposed to be laid out. They put a hideous mirror in my bathroom, and did not ask me prior for any suggestions. We had to move all of our furniture because they couldnt give us a correct date when they were demoing things. I specifically said the original hardware wouldn't look good (the towel racks, toilet paper holder,etc..) and I didnt want them put up. What did they do? Leave them up and painted around them. I asked them to give me an estimate on how much it would be to install a hardwood floor over approximately 1500 square feet. $30,000!!! Ridiculous! They just wanted to screw the insurance company and us! Told me they were here for us. Did nothing for us. Wanted us to buy the hardwood through them because they were bonded and insured. If you're looking for home repair service, DO NOT call this company!!! They are a group of UNSCRUPULOUS, UNETHICAL, SCOUNDRELS and no absolutely NOTHING Of home remodeling and repair...from there firm grasp of the OBVIOUS to their DISMISSIVE behavior and UNFOUNDED diagnosis I would just prance myself right out onto a limb and say their a band of disorganized MINIMUM WAGE SCHMUCKS and certainly not skilled tradesman. On Feb 2nd 2024 this company was PAID to drain snake my overflow pipe. What these maurauders did instead was run what appeared to be an old clothes line wire into the drain pipe, then preceding to use a plummers camera to COMPLETELY block the drain pipe. Now before these degenerates did their "work" the drain was not blocked but did have a slow drain. The issue with my plumbing is now worse than ever. On Monday Feb 5th i will be contacting the CITY CODE ENFORCER as well as the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU!! I plan seeing this to the BITTER END..my OBJECTIVE in life is to see to it that if this company is a fraud, I will see it that these hooligans are PROSECUTED to the fullest extent on the law!!! read more

The first time I hired them, they were fine but their sub kept showing up at my house without an appointment, calling and demanding I come home from work. I decided it was the sub so I gave them another try. The second time, they set up the equipment, but did not show up to pick it up (after I stayed home to wait for them) and did not show up to do the restoration work. They only e-mailed me to tell me their employee was sick AFTER I e-mailed them about why they had not shown up 2 hours after the appointment. I finally had to fire them, then they billed my insurance a ton for very little work. I was told by the contractor who finished the job that they hole they cut wasn't even straight, and it made it more difficult to fix. read more

Had a water heater leak and HD was referred to me by the plumbing company. They seemed nice enough and do take care of your insurance billing but the quote was ridiculous. Billed insurance to paint my entire garage and kitchen which was completely unnecessary. There were also other very sketchy charges. I get that they add in all of these because they know insurance will pay it but it's not right at all. What frustrated me the most is that when I called to ask about the charges and specifically that we did not want our entire kitchen painted they were extremely unprofessional. The woman I spoke with was demeaning and kept saying that they have to do all this work because they are insured and bonded and it's how the insurance will approve repairs. I called my insurance to ask and was told this company had no idea what they were talking about and purely trying to get more money for work they aren't even planning to do. I got another estimate from another licensed and bonded company which was 3500 cheaper than their quote. Win win for me and my insurance company. read more

I discovered water dripping from one of the kitchen recessed can lights on a Sunday evening. Early Monday morning I called my plumber and then HD Restoration...I am extremely grateful to HD for all that they have done to help with a stunning (to me) situation. Jake came out right away and guided me through the steps in filing an insurance claim and he oversaw the entire project with Rodney; what a great team! While the plumber repaired the leak, Jake and Rodney made all the preparations for demolition & mitigation, answering my questions and keeping me updated while Bobby got to work with demo and prep for reconstruction; which he completed beautifully in an impressively timely, meticulous and professional manner. The ceiling repainting and replacement of the damaged can light was completed by Wyatt who was equally as professional & thorough. These are just the on-the-job site professionals! Everyone whom I dealt with in the office via telephone was professional, personable, efficient and thorough. Besides that, I was regularly updated as the project progressed. I had developed a crack in my upstairs shower pan of my rental unit. HD restoration has dropped the ball time and time again. After 3 weeks of trying to get them to come do work the owner said he would come out to help the process. They finally sent someone out to start the work but the owner no-showed his excuse was that we didn't call to confirm the morning of even though he had an employee there so he obviously would know we were there. We have had to babysit them along the way. Finally we fired them and the owner sent a very unprofessional message to my wife saying if he is not paid in 5 days he will take legal action. First off we never said that we weren't going to pay them. Secondly demanding something to be timely after failing to meet any sort of a deadline yourself is so hypocritical. read more

If you are in need of a mold removal company HD restoration is the company to go with!!! We were in contact with 4 different companies to get quotes regarding a mold issue in our master bathroom below the sink. The three other companies made the problem seem MUCH worse then it really was and quoted us thousands of dollars. Not to mention they said we might need to rip out our custom cabinets and new quartz countertops to fix the problem. Houston with HD restoration came over, gave us a free estimate and put our mind at ease by saying it wasn't that bad and he should be able to remove all the mold by only cutting a hold the size of a piece of paper in the back of the cabinets. We paid $700 and they removed all the mold successfully without having to damage our cabinets or countertop.
