Bottom line: price quoted and installation met with no surprises. Clean space left with all old items and leftover stuff removed. Several weeks later, I remain completely satisfied with the job and would happily recommend this company based on my experience. I will continue to use them in the future.

However, when we inspected my toilet, it refused to leak, even though there was definitely a leak a few days earlier. After flushing several times, we decided that this was a false alarm and I was prepared to pay the service charge. However, Tyler presented me with a bill of $220! I asked why that was so high, and he said he added "diagnostics" to the service charge. Diagnostics? All he did was remove the toilet cover lid. I paid, but I do not recommend this company. I would never have hired them if I had known about this policy. I later received bids from other contractors that said they would have replaced the wax seal under the toilet for $175! P.S. I was contacted by the company after posting this review, and they agreed to refund my payment except for the $68 service fee.

The company went out of business so the guarantee was worthless. When I noticed a musty smell, I contacted three other companies for opinions and solutions, All gave me different information and a wide range of prices. When I told a realtor my frustrations, she recommended Dry Effects. When the inspector came out, I immediately felt confident with his knowledge and experience. The Dry Effects estimate was also more reasonable than the others. Dry Effects sent out two crews. The first one to remediate wetness/mold in the walls and another to install a drain connected to my sump pump. They also provided a guarantee for their work. When another hidden problem arose months later, they promptly remediated it at no cost to me. After COVID, I have found it hard to find service providers who are reliable and efficient. It was a relief to find Dry Effects.

The gentleman quoted me $1,695 in labor, as all the parts would be reused just refitted. I left work early, drove down there, disassembled, cleaned, and refitted them myself in 45 minutes. Duke came out inspected and turned the gas on. $1,695 for 45 minutes of work is disgraceful. You are taking advantage of people. I will be watching and reporting if you try to take my review down.

I asked them to stay. * They did not turn off the unit prior to cleaning which has now caused multiple issues with my unit. * I put in a new filter on Sunday. Today it is completely dirty. I expected a little dirt but not to the degree that it is now. * Because they did not turn off the unit prior to cleaning, all of the debris went back into my unit and it is now froze up. I have to have a service call to fix it because the air is not working. * I stayed with your guys to ensure they were doing their work properly and they kept making comments about me watching them saying "we better do a good job, she watching". They were not professional and I would like to be compensated for their work and attitudes and now my ac unit not working.
