I had a photo and video of the color I desired (which is just a toned down version of what I had). The dimensions were already in my hair from the balayage and my natural color. The girl tried to talk me into low lights which I was confused about. I asked to just tone it. Well, she did and my hair was almost black! I was so surprised and shocked. When I called the next day to speak with a manager she offered no help. And then told me to call her back next week! I'm sorry as a business owner I would call a client to check on them if they weren't satisfied and I would NOT tell them it was their problem. So typical of an average salon to take their mistake and tell me it's my problem.

I wanted to start off with stating the fact that the stylist I had was just simply amazing. She was…read morekind, compassionate, listen to what I wanted and did a great job with my root touch up and bang trim. Really my only issue is that I was not draped properly for my color service. I had just purchased a new white shirt with mini/low mock turtle neck. A towel was never placed around my neck/shoulders. When I got home, I realized the back/top of the collar of my shirt had gotten permanent hair color all over it. This was a huge disappointment. It was literally my first day wearing it and I really just loved it but it's pretty ruined at this point unless I wear my hair down, which I dont a lot. I understand my shirt of choice for this color service could have been different, but I also know there are things that can be done as stylists to minimize accidents like this. My only other quick take away was that I was hoping to liven up the highlights that I had that were dull/lacking luster and had faded quite a bit. I was hoping to feeling the tone of them but I didn't really notice a difference in color. But my hair was shiny and my stylist did an AMAZING job with my blow out and making me feel really beautiful when I left. Again, I was just so disappointed about the fact that my new shirt was ruined and the glaze to tone down/deepen the color wasn't really as noticeable as I had hoped.. but overall, I love this salon. The staff is incredible friendly and kind and I have no doubt that this was just a one off experience. I hate to leave negative feedback but want to compliment my stylists bedside manner, kindness and her over skill set which was clearly great.

I observed an inaccuracy in the business hours posted on Yelp for the Grafton Cost Cutters…read more According to the information available on Yelp, the salon is listed as closing at 8:00 PM. However, upon my arrival at 6:45 PM on 1/30/24, I noticed the sign on the door said that they closed at 7 PM. I mentioned this discrepancy to the woman working to prevent future misunderstandings for potential clients. Secondly, upon entering the salon at 6:45 PM, I expected to be accommodated for a service. However, I was not offered any assistance, and it seemed as though the staff was unwilling to provide service despite the posted closing time. I understand the importance of adhering to business hours, but when a client arrives well within the posted operating hours, it is reasonable to expect to be served. It was a simple haircut which normally takes 10 minutes.

Did not look anything like the reference photo and ended up with severely uneven hair . I'm a pretty laidback person and understand that hair grows back. After a friend suggesting the place to me and seeing many positive reviews online, i decided my situation was dire. With long, green, unlayered hair i entered Frances' beautiful salon. She greeted me warmly even as a new customer and handled my damaged hair with confidence. She explained what she was doing and why through each step of the color and styling. She also shared a lot of information on how to properly care for my dry hair. I asked if she carried bed head products as i had a favorite i ran out of a while ago. She said no, but said she can pick it up special for me in about a week. Very happy about her willingness to find whatever i was looking for. She managed me and another customer well, making sure neither of us were waiting any longer than it took our hair to set. Very comfortable conversation as well.
