I brought my 12 year old daughter in- her hair is curly and very thick and we were having a hard time managing it. Ritchie was amazing- not only did he give her a beautiful haircut, he showed me and my daughter step by step how to style and fry her hair so we would have the same results at home. He also provided us with small portions of the same products he used so we could try them at home and told me to call him if we had any trouble. Ritchie has a great personality and is fun to talk to- he had my shy daughter opening up and we all had a great time chatting while he did her hair. He also called ME a few days later to check on us and see how her hair was doing. We will definitely be back!

Though personally I've only had appointments with Tami, I've heard great things about Richie and Angela as well. The salon was recently redecorated, so in addition to getting an awesome haircut and color, you can relax in a truly beautiful space. They use Davines products which are all-natural, so that's a huge plus if you're concerned about chemicals. Overall, I can't say enough about Brio! If you're looking for a new salon, this should be your next stop.

After a friend suggesting the place to me and seeing many positive reviews online, i decided my situation was dire. With long, green, unlayered hair i entered Frances' beautiful salon. She greeted me warmly even as a new customer and handled my damaged hair with confidence. She explained what she was doing and why through each step of the color and styling. She also shared a lot of information on how to properly care for my dry hair. I asked if she carried bed head products as i had a favorite i ran out of a while ago. She said no, but said she can pick it up special for me in about a week. Very happy about her willingness to find whatever i was looking for. She managed me and another customer well, making sure neither of us were waiting any longer than it took our hair to set. Very comfortable conversation as well. The last salon i was at was another Milwaukee 2 years ago, and the experience was so terrible i tried to have friends and family do my cuts and colors since then. I think i have finally found a happy home for my hair. Very happy with the color and cut and i look forward to coming back when I'm due again! Thanks Frances!

Frances had excellent input and advice that really worked out for how I wear my hair (either air dried/curly or blown out with a round brush). I had a 5AM flight the next day for a job interview and scheduled my haircut for 5PM the night before, hoping I could get away without waking up CRAZY early to shower & style my hair. Frances gave great advice for how to keep my hair looking fresh & introduced me to a new way of blowing out my hair to give it longer lasting body. To top it off, Frances is super grounded, fun and easy to talk to. Highly recommend!

I had a photo and video of the color I desired (which is just a toned down version of what I had). The dimensions were already in my hair from the balayage and my natural color. The girl tried to talk me into low lights which I was confused about. I asked to just tone it. Well, she did and my hair was almost black! I was so surprised and shocked. When I called the next day to speak with a manager she offered no help. And then told me to call her back next week! I'm sorry as a business owner I would call a client to check on them if they weren't satisfied and I would NOT tell them it was their problem. So typical of an average salon to take their mistake and tell me it's my problem.

I wanted to start off with stating the fact that the stylist I had was just simply amazing. She was…read morekind, compassionate, listen to what I wanted and did a great job with my root touch up and bang trim. Really my only issue is that I was not draped properly for my color service. I had just purchased a new white shirt with mini/low mock turtle neck. A towel was never placed around my neck/shoulders. When I got home, I realized the back/top of the collar of my shirt had gotten permanent hair color all over it. This was a huge disappointment. It was literally my first day wearing it and I really just loved it but it's pretty ruined at this point unless I wear my hair down, which I dont a lot. I understand my shirt of choice for this color service could have been different, but I also know there are things that can be done as stylists to minimize accidents like this. My only other quick take away was that I was hoping to liven up the highlights that I had that were dull/lacking luster and had faded quite a bit. I was hoping to feeling the tone of them but I didn't really notice a difference in color. But my hair was shiny and my stylist did an AMAZING job with my blow out and making me feel really beautiful when I left. Again, I was just so disappointed about the fact that my new shirt was ruined and the glaze to tone down/deepen the color wasn't really as noticeable as I had hoped.. but overall, I love this salon. The staff is incredible friendly and kind and I have no doubt that this was just a one off experience. I hate to leave negative feedback but want to compliment my stylists bedside manner, kindness and her over skill set which was clearly great.

The appointment was March 18 2026 w Abby, who is an epic artist w polish application. She, unfortunately was on a long vacation when I went in a week ago concerned about the condition my nails were in as a result of the gel removal. I understand that everyone responds differently to any chemical treatment so I have no issue with Abby at all. However, my nails and clear polish applied after the paraffin started bubbling the same afternoon. I gave the benefit of the doubt thinking that it's something I can handle w an emery board and moisturizer. Nope nope nope. 3 weeks later my nails were shredding as soon as they breached the nail bed- they are weak, splitting painfully into the nail bed, keep shredding and need constant filing, clipping, etc. when I went in to ask how I could fix the issue, I was passed around to 3 people- none of whom were nail techs. They refunded $19-a random amount and not close to half of the cost. I was told by Madison in management that this is normal - and to use a product called Nail Envy. A week later, 34 days after the original appointment, my nails are still shredding and splitting. It is like acid was applied. The result is that I will not be able to get a manicure until the nails completely grow out - MONTHS from now. I know if Abby would have been present, she would have had better advice and would have repaired the nails to the best of her ability. Result - I spent $ for a manicure w paraffin so didn't cut corners, and will have hideous painful nails until they grow out. I'm upset that a nail tech wasn't available to advise, I was told I'd be called in a couple of days to see how things were and to get an informed answer, which didn't happen. I bought the Nail Envy strengthener and their cuticle oil as recommended by Grok(!). $36. I have had nothing but great experiences w Impressions until this debacle. I don't know what to do - management is inadequate for problem solving.

She was friendly, and we had a few nice conversations, but also some non-awkward silence, which was relaxing. I didn't feel pressure to make small talk. Even though I arrived a couple minutes late, she was able to complete some foils, a toner, a cut, and a blow dry with time to spare before I had to leave to cross town to teach a yoga class, which was also greatly appreciated! I absolutely love the results - it was just what I was looking for.
