This is a very beautiful salon. Quiet, not a lot of people, warm atmosphere. They offer tea, soda, those cool keurig coffee pods and I think I saw someone having a beer? I found Belleza here on yelp and decided to go for the Keratin Treatment. She offered a deal at the time and she has great reviews which are well deserved! Frances is clearly highly trained in these treatments and she does it under a special fan to absorb all the fumes so there is no worry about chemicals. I rarely post to Yelp, but service from people like Frances deserves to be properly noticed online. I moved to the Milwaukee area a about a year ago, and finding a hairstylist was one of the many things I needed to do. I tried a few places that "specialized" in mens' hair cuts, and they were either poor quality, overpriced for the services offered, or provided by people I needed to force conversation with to get through the appointment. After a lifetime of naturally curly hair, I wondered what it would be like to have straight hair. I was referred to Frances by a friend, and was a bit reluctant to go at first but I have been to her twice now for a Brazilian Keratin hair treatment and the most recent, a Brazilian Blowout. She does a great job. I now find my hair more manageable and not at all frizzy, but more importantly (to me), she isn't a pushy hair stylist. Whatever you want, she is very accommodating. Frances is wonderful! I would give her 6 stars for working with this head of hair if I could. She always starts out with a great scalp massage while shampooing my hair, and offers me a beer afterwards. :) My hair never looked better! She is very professional and would recommend her to all my friends. The styling creme she suggested I use works better than the spray gel I had been using. My hair feels more natural now.
