Nice building. Games to play such as foos ball, shuffleboard, pool and skee ball. A nice place to sit and enjoy a cocktail. My sister tried the Huckleberry Moscow mule, it was not as good as expected (we are not from the area and kept trying Huckleberry stuff... maybe huckleberries themselves don't have as much flavor as we assume). I did the tasting flight and enjoyed their vodkas.

Their house made sour mix is delicious and we love their vodka and whiskey.

I am not sure if I have a good grasp on what the difference is between what a good distillery is…read moreand what a bad one is. Reason why I say this is almost each and every time I go to a distillery I enjoy it immensely and almost always shell out five stars for my review of it, four stars minimum. I know a bad brewery when I try one but not so sure with distilleries. So bearing that in mind and if you go off of what the other reviews say for what's posted for Wildrye Distilling you will find as an average that they come in at five stars. So if there are more distillery snobs that came here they gave it a ringing endorsement as well as I am doing. Wildrye looks to be in a newer neighborhood and development of mixed business and housing. It's in a nice corner and it was probably one of the busiest places I went to out of all of the numerous places I stopped at in Bozeman. In fact it was so busy it took a while to get a drink order placed and the bartender informed me as such. So I took a seat and waited and got my order placed after a bit. The bartender was so aware of his customers and gave me a little bit of a discount on my drink for the wait despite me never complaining to him about it which was really nice of him to do! The drink I got was a really good one! It was the Basil Smash. And as the name indicates it is indeed loaded with basil. It was extremely refreshing and so very well made! I could easily have had another but I was starting to get into a time crunch and had to make a few other stops before closure but it was worth the wait and whenever I am passing through Bozeman again I will most certainly return!

After reading the reviews, yelp reviews decided to give this place a try. Lucky for us. It was…read moreTuesday and it was buy one get one free. We both had the bourbon horse neck beverage with ginger, beer and bitters. The bartender was a local and very friendly and informative about the various offerings. The drink was strong (I know now why Montana law says 2 per person per day!) no food is offered here so just a heads up. All the spirits are distilled in house - not a big place so no need to take a tour can see it all from the bar When I'm Bozeman - add it to the love list

Absolutely horrific service, sadly. Was looking forward to an intimate experience, and as soon as…read morewe walked in the door realized that wasnt the case. Should have left at that moment but figured we would still give it a chance. As we are sitting there waiting for him and the chatty man at the bar to stop talking, the owner (Im assuming) yells out, "what are you going to do, just sit there and ignore me".. well I figured you could stop talking for half a second, Acknowledge your only other 2 customers, walk over and get our order.. Instead, you chose to yell across this tiny room and show no care for anyone else besides yourself and the loud mouth man at the bar. Saw interest in your spirits at the liquor store and wanted to learn more about the process and where they came from.. but clearly the owner behind the bar could care less

I love rye whiskey. When I heard that Stonehouse made their own I had to visit. The owner/distiller…read moretreated me to a full sampling of his entire line. Rye Whiskey, Corn Whiskey, Wheat Whiskey, and Bon Fire Bourbon made in honor of AC/DC. Each one was delicious. As we drank each one he told us about the ingredients and the inspiration behind each. After the whiskey he broke out the Rums. I have never liked rum, but his are amazing thanks to the care he takes to use only the highest quality ingredients: premium sugar cane, heirloom chocolate fruits, organic coconut, and fresh vanilla beans. As we tried the rum he also let us snack on the cocoa nibs and coconut flakes which he utilized. By using real products the flavors are exceptional, nothing artificial here. Finally he broke out his latest release, the Scottish Laddie Celtic Whiskey. It's not made in Scotland so it ain't scotch, but it is made in the style of scotch using Montana products. The end result is a very fine spirit. This distillery is definitely worth a trip. High quality spirits, made with authentic ingredients. Each has a life and a story of its own.
