I wouldn't use that much pepper if I cooked for myself for a week and used it with every dish. Had to ask for knives for some of people's meals. I will say the spicy lamb rigatoni was amazing, pasta just right and the sauce and flavor was peak. I am just not sure what to say, other than this was the strangest and most disorganized dining experience I have ever had. When we went to go get our plates at the buffet, there were no plates available. We had to wait at the buffet for five minutes before they brought us plates. It was very uncomfortable. When we got back to our table 20 minutes after we had arrived, we still had to ask for silverware. After that, we were never offered another drink or a refill on water or ice. There was no question offered to us in regards to how our food was and whether we were doing OK or not. And after a $75 gift certificate, I still ended up paying $280. This is unacceptable and if you're charging someone that much money, your service should be top-notch, but that is not how it turned out to be.

It was busy since it's right by the lobby and there were people going in and out the whole time we were there. I'm not sure why you would go here if you aren't a guest, but if you do there's limited street parking and a parking garage across the street. There's a bathroom right by the lobby that is pretty nice. It's all pretty easy to find but the parking garage sneaks up on you fast if you don't know it's there. No one else approached the table. Still no coffee. It had been 30 minutes. We decided to leave. The host realized we were leaving. He offered to find our server, pay for our meal, seat us somewhere else. He practically chased us out of the restaurant. I appreciated the sentiment but it was too little, too late and my teenage daughter was super uncomfortable with his approach. I was excited to eat at House of Brunch. I won't be back.
