I have been going to this Dry Clean Plus for years, and I think David is relatively the new person in charge now. They have been doing great cleaning for many of my family members. A few weeks ago, I brought in a very expensive blouse into the place and David called me that they had ruined my blouse and felt very bad about it. He said he would do whatever I wanted to do...be reimbursed with dry cleaning services or pay for the blouse. I chose to get payment for the blouse and showed him the cost to replace. Without hesitation, he wrote out a check so I could buy a replacement. David is a true person and good businessman. Accidents happen and he owned up to it. I will continue to use the cleaners as they do an excellent job and prices are reasonable. I told him he could sleep at night as he did the right thing! Thank you!!!! read more

Found out I had a meeting Monday requiring a suit. Arrived at 10am and asked if they could have ready by Saturday. "We are done for the day" responded the owner. Done? At 10am. This is my favorite dry cleaners. I have been using them since 2007 when I lived in Potomac. That was a distant to drive but I did it gladly because of professionalism and kindness of employees. I moved to Washington DC 3 years ago. I am still too far away but I still use them every other Wednesday. I get 20% extra discount on Wednesdays. Definitely recommend them. read more

All I am going to say is that I been to the dryclean plus in Rockville for 5 months now and all I can say is that everything about the service there is phenomenal. The owner there is very sweet and kind and the clothes that I get back after being dry clean is absolutely..... well..... clean, press nice and neat and ready to go!. Good Alteration works, quality shirts pressing, and reasonable price compare to other Dry Cleaners in North Bethesda. I really like the smell of Garments after dry cleaning. It seems like they use fresh dry cleaning oil. The distance from parking lot to the cleaner is very short, and it's very easy to access to pick up and drop from Rockville Pike. I live in condo cross street, and they always treat me like real family. I recommend this cleaner if you are new in Rockville and North Bethesda. read more

Went to this location for a blanket to be washed and was told it would cost $25. I was happy to get it done for this price but when I came back to pick it up the price jumped by $20. Took almost half an hour to convince the guy that this was poor business practice because I had a recipe showing what I was told. I admit they at lease did well on the cleaning but was not in the mood to fight about the price I was given. I will not be using this location again. read more

If I could rate zero, I will. My sweater lost a button after dry cleaned here. Then, they said it was not there before I gave to them. I said you checked all the condition before you received it. After that, they said your jacket quality is bad, even designer's jacket are low quality such as Burberry. Are you serious? I paid in front. So please don't go even if don't pay beforehand!!!! BEWARE! This dry cleaner is under new ownership. We had been using them for 5 years because the prior owners were amazing. We especially went to them for alterations even after we moved away from the neighborhood. The prior seamstress knew exactly how to re-shape any article of clothing for a personal tailor-made fit and would always redo the job if it wasn't right-at their expense. However, on our last visit this week, the new owner completely ruined my husband's brand new never-before-worn pants (4 pairs to be precise). We brought them in to be lengthened from the waistband (my husband is 6'3" and long). We even brought a sample of a pair that had been altered by the prior seamstress showing an elongated waistband. Somehow, the owner completely misunderstood because he claimed the new pants were longer than the sample pair and even after a phone conversation clarifying, ended up taking the pants UP at the waist. They cut an inch of material off from the top of the pants, raised the length of the pants from the waistband and raised the crotch, making them completely unwearable. Not only did they do the opposite of what we requested, but the pants ended up being an inch or more SHORTER than the sample. The worse part is that the owner refused to hear our explanation or look at the evidence (the pants speak for themselves) and insisted that he performed the service as instructed. He completely mis-measured and screwed the alteration job from there. How in the world he thought we wanted the new pants to be shorter and fit higher in the crotch area (for a man nonetheless) than the sample pair is beside me. On top of all this, they shrank my husband's sample pant in the cleaning process. So my husband is out 5 pairs of pants and the owner refuses to refund us the cost of the alteration service, let alone the cost to replace these pants. Oh, and he told us to sue him and threatened to call the police. Atrocious customer service. (I would give 0 stars if that was an option.) read more

Poor workmanship, no common sense and not enough English to understand what you need or convey their capabilities, or in this case lack thereof. I brought an otherwise nice coat in to remove a lining that was tattered. They left the tattered pockets in place, and actually removed the lining so completely some of the stitching on the coat's fabric came undone. Then they wanted to charge like an extra $30 to resew the stitching they wrecked. When I tried to point out what they had done this non English speaking woman started putting some scissors next to the coat and acted all offended. I was seriously worried she was going to start cutting it. They could have just left that thin strip of lining in place that was holding the stitching, but nah, were too stupid to. read more

My wife and I started going here when I lived in Grosvenor. We live in Silver Spring now and still drive back for our dry cleaning. They've probably done 600 pieces for us with only one snafu (related to something in another customer's clothes) which they made right with a cash credit. Prices are competitive, staff is friendly, and everything is done on time. We tried others, but Dryclean Plus is the best. read more

I had an interview on July 30, and I purchased a brand new suit for this interview on July 27, however, the suit which consisted of a black and white striped shirt and coordinating blazer were slightly wrinkled. However, both pieces were purchased brand new from the retail store and the wrinkles were to be expected given the cotton seersucker fabric, so I ran around on Saturday morning, July 28, trying to find a dry cleaner that could do same day pressing only. The first two cleaners I visited stated that they did not do on site pressing rather the garments were sent to another location and therefore would not be ready for pick up until July 30. This location was the 3rd dry cleaner I visited that morning and they had an on- site pressing machine which was clearly visible as I entered the front door. So, I walked up to the counter and asked whether they could do same day pressing, the woman at counter said yes, so I went to grab the suit from my car. I gave her the suit and I was given a receipt which reflected $13.15 which I thought was a little high given the type is service I was requesting. The clerk who was identified as (Min) on the ticket receipt told me it would be ready after 4:00pm. I arrived about 5:30pm to pick up the suit and asked about the higher than normal price given that I only asked for pressing. The same women indicated that the suit was dry cleaned and that pressing only would only have been $2 cheaper giving me the impression she thought it was a better deal to get it dry cleaned. I told her that I only requested pressing. Once I got the suit home I left it in the plastic until I was ready to put it on. So, it was Monday when I noticed there was a streak on the upper left side of the skirt which was pretty noticeable when looking in the mirror. This streak was not there when I purchased the skirt as I had tried it on in the store and looked over every inch of it prior to my purchase. Needless to say, I assumed whatever type of dry cleaner chemical this merchant used must have caused the streak to occur. In my opinion the skirt is ruined as I am not sure if this streak which appears as though the color in the black stripe may have ran with whatever chemical they used during the cleaning process. Since, I only requested pressing, I hold this merchant responsible for this situation and I will never being going there again. Beware of their practices. read more
