She complained about my nails and cuticles, even though that's part of the service I was paying for. She then told me she couldn't do the short almond shape I've been getting for months. When I asked if she could recreate the design, she said she'd try her best, which wasn't reassuring so I politely requested another technician. She got upset, and refused to finish cutting and shaping my nails. The manager told me I need to wait for someone else to become available with no apology or attempt to make the situation right. Thankfully, Kim took over and was kind, professional, and even offered me a complimentary wax for my birthday. She's the only reason I stayed and left a tip. As I was leaving, the first technician and the manager gave me dirty looks. To make matters worse, less than a week later my polish is already peeling. This experience was unacceptable. Turns out that the eight dollars that he thought I didn't have was the tip and the tip was separate from the payment. He was very rude and wasn't very personable. He yell "why don't you have $80 on your card." I responded that I did and even showed him my account which cause him to settle down a bit. The owner who was a lady then came and looked at it and saw that he separated the tip from the actual service and then asked me to use Cash App to pay for the tip.
