I had been in Atlanata for a few days and decided to look on Yelp for a spa that did extractions along with skin brightening. I randomly decide to try out new things and or techniques. I had been waxing for years before I began laser hair removal in NY & I had some dark spots from ingrown. Bare was super easy to find and for those driving there is more than enough parking. The place was well taken care of and decorated nicely. I was taken care of quickly. The esthetician was amazing, she took her time with everything and was extremely careful. I have had some great results. This place has great potential and space. Hoping that they are able to expand and provide more services for those in this area. read more

Pros: Very convenient parking, my esthetician (Kendra) was very knowledgeable, sensitive and understanding. She actually listened to my concerns and addressed them instead of just telling me what she thought about my skin, the office setup is very chic (small but styled very nicely), the bathroom was clean and also styled fashionably. I really liked the atmosphere and I enjoyed my facial so much that I made two additional appointments. I will definitely return for another facial and I olan to try a few services provided by Jodi. The front desk staff was very sweet and patient. Cons: The only thing I didn't care for too much was the pictures. I had before and after photos taken of my skin without my knowledge in advance. Now don't get me wrong, I appreciated seeing the difference in my skin and Kendra thoroughly explained the differences but I would've preferred if she asked me first. I also didn't like that darn light on the reception desk, it randomly flashed off and on, it probably bothered me more because I suffer from migraines. Overall, I enjoyed it!! I visited Bare Haven for the first time yesterday and was amazed by the friendly service! I called ahead to schedule a same day appointment and they were very accommodating! There are 2 waxing salons in the same complex, this one is in the back! Jodi serviced me and was very comforting and gentle. She kept great conversation which helped keep my mind off of what was happening. She was very professional and knowledgeable as well! Went in for a Brazilian Wax at the new customer special rate of $25. The tech was very friendly and I did enjoy chatting with her, which is why I am giving three stars. She asked if I was in a hurry, I told her no, but the entire session took 70 minutes, mostly because she kept pulling the wax off before it was dry and then would need to go over it 2-3 times. It really didn't feel like I was with a seasoned professional and the last thing you want is hot wax to be spilled in your delicate areas or to hear "oops" multiple times - but, that is exactly what I got. The regular prices are Bare are not competitive, so isn't not very likely I will return for waxing since I can just travel 15 minutes down the road to peachtree city to go to a place that hurts less and does great work in 1/3 the time. read more

I bought a Groupon for a Brazilian, and redeemed it very soon after. When I went for my appointment I met Jodi who was very friendly. The place is very cute and chic, yet also quiet and relaxing. Jodi talked with me during the entire service. It was the fastest Brazilian I ever had! It was not as painful as previous Brazilians either. I was so impressed that I made a follow up appointment immediately. I did not have any irritation or breakouts after the service. Unfortunately , I had a scheduling conflict and had to cancel that appointment. Jodi was not available when I tried to reschedule so I tried another place, BIG MISTAKE! Yes, Bare Haven's price for a Brazilian is a bit more than other places, but you get what you pay for. I will not chance another place, I will stick with Jodi and Bare Haven. read more

I was told to arrive 10 minutes before my 11AM appointment. I arrived at 10:50 and the door was locked and it seemed as if no one was there. I called the number and no answer. A man who also appeared to be stuck outside waiting for someone (who actually ended up being an employee) went in a little while later and told them to give them some time to set up because they were running late. My hour long massage didn't start until 11:10 and was still over at 12PM, despite them being late. There was no complimentary wine as I was told there will be when I booked my appointment. I was told they ran out. Also, the guy who did my massage smelled like marijuana which wasn't a pleasant smell that I wanted in my nose while he was in close proximity to me. The massage itself was a little disappointing and just okay. Nothing that I couldn't of done myself if I had some massage oils. The only positive thing I will say is that the place and set up is really nice and soothing. They were also pleasant and nice but they are a bit unprofessional. read more

The owner, Jodi, is the best massage therapist I've found in over 20 years! She is kind, really listens and is very skilled. She has the "gift"! I'm so happy I found her!! You won't be sorry if you book a massage with her. I go for 90 minutes every 2 weeks, which has really helped my neck injury. Her pricing is good, which helps me to be able to afford to go regularly. I bought a Groupon couples massage about 5 months ago. I called three weeks in advance to schedule an appointment. I spoke with Jodi. They called me Saturday to make sure I was still keeping my appointment. I show up today @11 for my couples massage. Drove 30 minutes there, and even had to take a day off of work. Bought a groupon for a couples massage at this place for my boyfriend's birthday. DO NOT believe these good reviews. I made the mistake of doing so. After I made an appointment (and made them aware I would be using a groupon) the receptionist asked for a card number to leave on file in case. I gave her mine and she confirmed the appointment. The day of our appointment my boyfriend rushed out of work and drove 45 minutes to meet me. We wanted to ensure we were at least ten minutes early to the appointment. When we tried to go in, the door was locked and all of the lights were turned off. There was no sign on the door indicating they would be closed and their hours online and on Facebook said they were open. It was 4 o'clock in the afternoon for Christs sake. After calling and leaving numerous messages and even leaving messages through Google and Facebook we heard nothing. Who books an appointment time with a client and disappears? It was beyond bizarre and horribly unprofessional. Especially since I had already payed and this sketchy business had my credit card number. I read a previous review detailing how they were unprofessional and rude to another groupon customer. If that's why they did this they are idiots. I work in the service industry and understand how things work and I fully intended to tip on the original price of the massage, not the discounted groupon price. And if they have a problem with Groupon customers, TAKE THE DAMN BUSINESS OFF GROUPON!!! I contacted Groupon support to report this business. I have never had a company behave this unprofessional.
