*1/5 stars*…read more Extremely disappointing experience at Peachtree Health Massage. We arrived early for our 10:00 AM appointment, which was confirmed via text with the manager the night before. We also had an email confirmation for an 11:30 AM appointment. However, the staff had no record of either appointment on her handwritten list. When I asked to speak to the manager, I was told they weren't available. I tried calling the manager on the number we had been texting, but there was no answer. The staff didn't make any effort to resolve the issue or offer a solution. We live out of state. Given that we traveled in Uber from downtown Atlanta for this appointment, the lack of organization and communication was frustrating. Hopefully, they'll work on improving their scheduling and customer service.

It does not feel like a very low, dimly lit room, you can close your eyes and relax. After a while, you can definitely feel it in your eyes, especially when they turn you over. Second, the massage lady kept taking calls and getting appointments set up - TWICE. While making a first call, she just used one hand to massage my neck and the second time she actually walked out of the room to take a call and talk to another masseuse. She did apologize and gave me an extra 10 minutes, which is why I am giving 2 stars instead of 1. Third, the technique was questionable. By all means, I am not a licensed in any of the massage techniques, but im sure stepping on someone's spine directly is a safe technique for relaxation. The room that I was shown had one of those bars on top of the bed so you can do thai-massage like technique where they step on the back to relieve pressure. Not only did this lady put her whole bodyweight on top of me (and im 6 foot 250 lbs guy, I can handle weight), but she was definitely stepping on my spine area, making the whole experience really nervous and unsettling. The thing about stepping on my back is that she really did not ask me if it is okay for her to step on my back. Luckily, I'm not one of those people who have medical conditions or rods in my spine or anything like that. But imagine if I were - this could have gone really bad. I feel like the price is fair but unfortunately, I don't see myself returning to this place.

Eventually, I was led to the massage room in the back corner where the foot massage chairs were along with a body massage table. They had to move items around as they used one chair for naps and the other had towels and some boxes stacked on it. I guess they don't get many foot massage customers even though they have photos of the chairs on their website. The massage was good and it was nice to stay in the same room for both parts of my visit. Several weeks later I called and attempted to make an appointment with Eva, I was told she no longer worked there. The lady that answered the phone was a little rude so I opted to go elsewhere that day. On another day I stopped in to see if they had anyone new to replace Eva however I found Eva sitting on the couch in the lobby when I walked in. She had no idea why her coworker had told me she didn't work there anymore. At the time she was waiting for an appointment to come in and she was the only one working so I had to go elsewhere that day as well. The following week I returned, Eva was available and I requested a 90-minute combo. She began to show me to a regular body massage room. I told her I would like the foot massage in a foot massage chair, she informed me that the room was not available but then went to the room opened the door, and began having a conversation with someone inside. Turns out her coworker was sick and laying down in a foot massage chair. Her coworker also had an appointment coming in that Eva had to take so now they were not available to give me a massage at all. That made 3 attempts in a row they were not available, I have not returned since.
