I've been incorporating regular colon cleanses into my health routine and have noticed increased energy amongst many other benefits. I was looking for a place to go that could help me continue this although I was on vacation. I came across clean start cleansing and was impressed with all of the good reviews. So I decided to schedule myself and my friend an appointment for a colon cleanse. Upon walking in, I was greeted by the nicest young lady. Super sweet with a nice smile. She had us fill out all the necessary documents and informed us our colonic specialist will be with us shortly. As we waited, we asked her questions about different vitamin supplements they had Available And what she would recommend for high blood pressure, urinary health. Parasite, cleanses, etc. She was very knowledgeable and when she didn't have an answer, she would go out of her way to look it up whether it was online, or a book that look like a Bible that talked about what supplements were good for what. When she didn't find it there, she asked another individual for help! Wish I could remember her name. She gets a 10 out of 10 from me. When it was time for our service, we were walked to the back. The facility was really clean. Everything was decorated beautifully. When I entered the room where the colonic was performed, the technician explained to me how everything worked. Answered all of my questions. She left to allow me to un dress and get myself situated. I finished my colonic. Everything went smoothly. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience here. If I was in Sandy Springs again, I would definitely pay them a visit again. I wish there was one in LA! Thank you, clean start cleansing and saff!

There was hair in the sink obviously not cleaned. The water for the foot bath was ice cold. I had to request hot water which came from a kettle. The water did not stay cold for the 23 min session which I've never had that service less 30 min. The chairs were dirty the walls were dirty. There was a television that was off with no offering of the remote or to turn it on. There was a candle not lit. It appeared that there were things available to make a relaxing atmosphere but just not utilized. There was a tile missing from the ceiling. Just not a relaxing vibe or hygienic atmosphere so I cancelled my remaining services.

This was my first experience ever with the foot bath and colonic and I will highly recommend it…read moretime and time over. Rebecca was the one who sat my friends and I, got us started and informed us of details of what come with the foot bath and what to expect. Not only was she informative but she was super sweet and friendly. If you are unfamiliar with the iconic foot bath your feet go into a Spa like tub where they add salt water and a machine that generates any toxins that your body may be holding onto and in return your foot water color will change. They have a chart that tells you what the color of your foot bath means and what is being drawn out of your body. (It's gross but also really cool to see)!! Once we finished our 30 minute session with Rebecca and the footbath we then were instructed to go to a colonic room where Trish instructed us on what a Colonic benefits for you and how to insert the instruments provided. (Believe it or not inserting was the easiest part)! At least for me. Once the instructional was over, Trish and my friends left me to myself to begin the process. They provide you with a disposable gloves, blue, and the tube that will be inserted. As this was my first time naturally I was nervous about inserting myself however I did feel that that was the easiest part on this journey as I did not know you had to release the water and (other findings) yourself I thought it was all just supposed to come out on its own (boy was I wrong)! I did hold the water that was being inserted for too long which causes your stomach to cramp (like you have to go to the bathroom) and for a first timer that's probably not the best to hold in the water you want to release. After 10 minutes I told Trish I think I was done because the cramping was so intense however she was extremely sweet and encouraged me to keep going and I'm so glad that she did because once I was told I had to release it was so much easier!! You do have the option also to see your movements and what you are releasing. Once my 30 minute session was up they instruct you on how to clean up your self they provide a sprayer which is extremely convenient as well as wipes (which are warm) and paper towel. As a first time or they do tell you that you probably will release more after your session is finished and you remove the tube I was one of those people who experienced that and I just used the sprayer to clean myself up. With all that being said I do highly recommend everyone experiencing a Colonic twice in their life it is definitely a good experience I woke up the next morning not feeling bloated I ate two meals so far and I feel satisfied I don't feel overly full, or bloated. They do recommend what they call a "back to back"session however my schedule is so crazy I am unable to do a back to back session but I will be back and continue to go back

Towards the end of the year a friend and I usually get together for some sort of bonding outing and…read morethis year was her choice. I never thought someone would suggest a colonic for a girls outing, but since I've never had one before, I went in with no real expectations other than I was gonna have multiple bowel movements (BM) in the time I was there. From what I'd read online, having one colonic is the equivalent of having 3-5 BMs. One of the main reasons I decide to go was they take my insurance company's HSA/FSA card. When I asked how that was possible, Rachel, the owner, says that it is considered prep for a colonoscopy and is an approved treatment. So I signed up for the December special, which was the colonic and a foot detox, she agreed to allow me to use the infared sauna instead of the foot detox. When I walked in the mood music and aromatherapy oils in the air immediately soothe whatever jitters I had, and I don't know if its Rachel's normal, but she gave me a genuine hug, I don't know the last time I've had one, so I blurted out to her that I was nervous and being so, I'd had three BMs that day, so I wasn't sure if there was anything left. She assured me there was. There are some brief medical history forms to fill out, and after reading the fine print, I learned that in the State of GA it is not mandatory to be licensed/certified to provide colon hydrotherapy, so again RED FLAG for me, but since Id read on her website that she is certified, I stuck around for the appointment. By then my friend came out the colonic room smiling, but at this point, she had better been smiling or I'd run straight back out the door. I opted for doing the sauna before the colonic, but Im sure most people do the sauna afterwards, but since I had to wait for her to clean the colonic table and get my friend ready for the foot detox, I went ahead and got naked and got in the sauna, and I'm extremely glad I did. It was just what my post holiday (Dec 27) nerves needed. I was able to do some journal writing and the smell of lavender and the alkaline water did me good. When you do the colonic, she gives you an opportunity to stick the tube up your own rectum, which Im sure some people can do with no issue, but me being an anal virgin, after multiple attempts, I was unable to do it for myself, so she re-entered the room to help. She has a gentle touch and I felt very comfortable with her doing so. After she starts the machine, she leaves the room and then came back about ten minutes later and I admitted that I hadn't BM. She rubbed some type of oil on my stomach and began to massage my abdomen and let me tell you, I started going like I hadn't been in months. I asked her to leave the room again, because I didn't like the idea of BMing with someone standing there massaging my stomach, she giggle and said she understood and that everyone has different reactions, and that the procedure also helps to relive a lot of stress, worry and other emotions we carry in our guts. The colonic is 40 mins and afterwards I felt different, and could tell the difference in the bloatness of my stomach. I'd read online that people says they lost 2-3 lbs after one of these. I didn't weigh myself prior or afterwards, but again I could tell the difference in the size of my stomach. Afterwards, she told me about a special she is running and instead of it being $90 per treatment, it would be $45, so I signed up for two more within the next month. Im not sure if Im going to keep the appointments since I saw my primary care physician four days after the colonic and she says there is no medical reason a person should be taking these every two weeks and recommend that I get a colonoscopy instead of multiple colonics back to back, but if I wanted to go back, she'd recommend spacing them out to 1-2 per year. Overall it was a pleasant experience, I felt pretty good afterwards and slept so good that night, that I would recommend this location and the service to anyone considering it. Rachel is a genuine spirit and she's very calming. I like that she took some time to review the medical history I'd provided and made some recommendation on ways I can increase my iron levels without having to take iron pills or other medications. I strongly recommend her services and the location is in East Point which is easily accessible from almost anywhere in Metro Atlanta.
