It's also close to home & had pretty good reviews. I called and was able to schedule a same day 90 minute full body massage!! (Love the same day service, they're open later than most places, & they also accept walk-ins). * My masseuse was a really tall guy (at least 6 feet). I told him that my upper back and shoulders were killing me and asked for a deep tissue massage. That is exactly what I got!! He applied A LOT of pressure and focused on my specified areas. He also checked on me regularly to make sure that I was ok with the pressure. He did a great job working out all of the kinks. He also used hot rocks during the middle of the massage (I thought this was a plus as I wasn't expecting it) to help loosen up those muscles. I admit, I was sore when leaving, but it was a good sore that was very necessary. * If you're in need of a serious DEEP TISSUE, MUSCLES ACHING massage, then I highly recommend that guy!! 2nd Visit. * On my second visit I really just wanted to relax (no deep tissue stuff, just a relaxing massage). I got the same 90 minute massage and ended up with Penny. She was A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. I asked for medium pressure and didn't specify any aches or pains. * Penny was great!! If you take a immediately a left, you will find building 5 and look for the blue door on the right hand side of the building (if you're facing the building). My first appointment I just had medium pressure (deep tissue is an additional 10 dollars), it was pretty good but I definitely would have enjoyed it more with more pressure. After my first appointment, she helped me schedule my next appointment on the spot. I had to reschedule my second appointment due to a schedule conflict, but again, Spa Zone was prompt at returning my phone call to reschedule my appointment. This time, I asked for deep tissue and it really helped relieved some of the muscle aches and tightness I've built up. I really like that she does a bit of the face and scalp massage as well. Since they're in the mall, I popped in and gave a 30 min try. It's not actual traditional anything, but more like that buddy in your group of friends who gives good massages. They do press deep and constantly ask if it's too much pressure, etc., so that is nice. They are pleasant and helpful. Again - if you are expecting like some traditional Chinese medical approach, no-not-here. I have no idea why they call it gong fu hands.
