Their taproom is a large space with plenty of seating, arcade games and a great beer selection! The atmosphere is definitely loud, but it has a great, lively energy that makes for a fun night out. One of the best parts about this brewery is that they distill their own spirits, so you have plenty of great options even if you aren't in the mood for beer. They don't offer traditional flights, but you can ask for two half-pours (about 5 oz each) to try a couple of different things. Here is what we tried: Out of This World: This mixed drink tasted like an upscale mai tai. It was beautifully cloudy and made with real passion fruit puree. Delicious! Coffee Pot & Kettle Stout: Absolute creamy goodness. This was my personal favorite, though I usually lean toward stouts anyway. Fort Point IPA (with Citra): My husband is the big IPA lover, and I usually attempt a taste with a lot of apprehension since I don't care for super hoppy beers. However, this one was surprisingly good! It felt more like a fruity, juicy hazy IPA. The listed pine notes were very subtle and gave it a really nice, balanced finish.

I would expect the outdoor space would come in handy once the weather warms up. Conveniently located right off of Seaport Blvd. surrounded by some other good food and dessert options. Lots of parks in the area, including Fan Pier Park, which offers some spectaculay views of the Boston Skyline...particularly after dark. Metered Street Parking was actually manageable, especially in the later post 6-pm midweek hours in the Fort Hill Square Area. Meters are in effect through 8pm with a 2-hour maximum, so if you arrive after 6pm and feed the meter until 8pm, you are all set for the night! The South Station (Red) T Station is also nearby. Both options are a short walk to Fan Pier Park. There are also lots of garages available in the immediate area as well.

Now this is a quality egg roll and HUGE and you were issued two of these monster rolls cut in half for a total of four man sized shareable delights.. Not sure if it was just high quality fries or a design flaw but they were crunchy and flavorful but the heat kept me from eating them all... So I moved onto my steak tips. In Boston when dining forget steak and move to Steak Tips cause they rule. Soft and chewy mini mounds of flesh is a New England speciality and I partake immediately into masticating these flavor bombs till the last bite. Murray's tips were a tad different than I was accustomed to cause these were marinated in a bbq sauce. Now it caught me off guard yet by the end I was a gigantic fan of this new tip sensation to my tastes buds were pleased along with my belly.. As you can see Frank was a happy camper. But one more item for a review and that was my guests meal which was a filet mignon smothered in chimichurri sauce blowing up that steak with even more layers of savor to enjoy. And hats off to chef for cooking it to a perfect medium with an outer crust but nice juicy pink inside... Ok well that's it for Franks experience at Murray's Tavern. They have rotating specials all the time, but their regular menu is so good that I just can't move away. Their smash burger is fantastic, but their salads are nice and hefty, so even if you're trying to eat light, you leave full and satisfied. Caesar salads are simple and standard everywhere, but I'm always happy with the one I get from Murray's - well dressed with a yummy cheese crisp on top. Their wings are delicious, always come out piping hot, and have a creative array of sauces. The variety of fries are impressive too and all of them are delicious (though, when are fries really not delicious?!) My favorite thing about Murray's is the front outdoor seating area. When the weather is a bit cooler, they'll turn on the gas heaters, so you can have a comfortable meal and still enjoy some fresh air. But what makes it truly my favorite is that it's dog friendly! It's always so tough to find spots that allow dogs, but Murray's staff is always so kind to us when we bring our dog with us for dinner, and they'll even bring out a bowl of water for him. Good service comes from the top, and we've met John, who is incredibly nice and friendly. Conversations with him are consistently pleasant and we love that he's always open to sharing what he knows about food and drink! The staff also provides kind, speedy service, which we definitely appreciate. The only negative about Murray's is the fact that we only found them a year ago and hate that we didn't find out about them sooner!

The flight started with white peach, a perfect light and summery creation. Then strawberry rhubarb brilliantly deployed a note of earthiness to reduce the sweetness. As for black cherry, to quote Some Kind of Monster, I would delete that one, as it lacked the distinction of its neighbors. But the finale was a success, the proudly non-traditional cider donut, an epic blast of sugar and cinnamon (?).
