These guys are awesome! I drove in from Colorado to purchase a 5th wheel and got a check engine…read morelight on my Silverado 3500 Duramax. I initially took it to Autozone to have the engine code checked (PE022). Being from out of town I thought I would play it safe and take it to the Chevrolet dealer. I waited at the dealership for three hours only to end up no further along than I was before bringing taking it to them. They told me that they were certain it was a leak somewhere in the jnduction system and they would need to keep the truck overnight. After looking at their reviews which were a 1.9, I decided to take my truck elsewhere. I looked up diesel repair and found Legendary Automotive. These guys were able to get my truck repaired quickly and correctly. They ended up having to reprogram the truck computer (no induction leaks). The dealership was WAY OFF! I cant say enough good things about these guys. If I'm ever in the area and need vehicle maintenance this is where I'll be going. If I live I lived in the area these guys would be handling all of my vehicle maintenance. Thank you Legendary for getting me back on the road, I drive all the way back to Colorado with no Check engine light.!

I was very impressed that he also remembered and honored a verbal promise on price adjustment that was made over the phone. He took excellent care of us, and always gave timely updates daily. Tyler is a true stand-up guy! Another big shout-out to Jason. I believe he is the GM of the shop. There was a hiccup in the process of servicing one of the vehicles. Jason took over the investigation, and even before any conclusion was drawn, he offered his unconditional assistance to the fullest extent to correct the issue. Hiccups are undesirable, but knowing that the shop is willing to have my back says volumes about their business ethics and integrity. Thank you to Tyler and Jason! --- Revision 4/9/2026 --- A few things to consider: (1) Recommend doing a thorough walk-around your car before and after service to check for dings and dents. I had 2 vehicles ding'ed up there. They took care of me the first time. The second time I did not hold them responsible because it was my fault that I did not ask for a walk-around before and after. (2) European cars are not quite their forte. I had them do a coolant flush, and after that I keep getting intermittent "engine getting too hot" warnings, which I believe is due to air pockets in the coolant system. This is usually due to coolant not being filled by vacuum but by simple drain and top-off. (3) Quite certain that the mechanics do not use fender covers to protect the vehicles being worked on. My Euro had the inside trim covers scratched due to handling of tools and parts in the vicinity. (4) The mechanic claimed that my Jap car had a power steering fluid leak when the car did not even need that fluid. Along came a quote to replace the entire rack and pinion for $1600. Know your car, trust but verify. I brought up some of these issues but never heard from them again anymore. I guess I must have been labelled as a high-maintenance customer to be avoided. In general, I think the front-end does their best to deliver, but the back-end stutters. I gave them 5 stars at the beginning. Now I must drop to 3. I had wanted to give just 2 due to the communication avoidance, but 1/2/3 does not matter much to me anymore. My total spending in 2 months among 3 visits was a little more than $3000. --- Revision 4/17/2026 --- Straw that broke the camel's back. Now 1 star. Given the experience with my Euro, I had a hunch that I should probably check the oil change that they did on my Jap, although only 1000 miles had elapsed since the oil change. The oil was very dark, BUT the filter element was super clean. The filter was much bigger in diameter than the inner diameter of the filter housing. The pleats of the filter element were folded and crushed because the filter had to be jammed in to fit. I cannot believe this. I bought a Toyota OEM filter, and the outer circumference stayed about at least 1/8" away from the inner circumference of the filter housing. I really need to double-check all the work done to my other 2 cars.
