DO NOT HAVE WORK DONE AT THIS BUSINESS!!!! This is an update from my previous post. About a month ago Ken and his "mechanics" installed an icon lift kit on my 5th gen 4Runner with KDSS. The installation seemed ok until I had an alignment by another "off-road shop". During the install I received a call from the shop manager who told me the kit was installed incorrectly. They had the adjust a few things before doing the alignment. The manager also told me the wheels were balanced incorrectly stating they added way too many balancing beads. I will have to rebalance all tires/wheels this week. I added a couple of photos that included notes from the shop and one of the wheels with way too many balancing beads. If I could give this shop no stars I would. I strongly believe "510 Offroad" is not an off-road shop. They put me and my passengers in danger. Luckily no parts that they were installed failed. read more

I have brought the truck in to 510 on three separate occasions - each with a new upgrade. First was for side steps and grille/raptor light installs. The next was for a tonneau cover, bed extender, and rear step install. The latest visit was for an Eibach lift kit, Prinsu roof rack install, and new wheels and tires. Each visit was seamless. I was looking for a level (or a lift if my budget allowed) for my 2002 Tundra 4x4. My truck is my baby and it took me a lot of online research and talking with a few different 4x4 shops before I finally chose 510 Customs. I chose them because of their friendliness, their finance options and finally because they are partnered with an actual mechanic shop. Jaime is super friendly, patient and a no pressure kind of guy. He answered all of my many questions and emails about parts, process and cost. I specifically wanted to level out my rake without spacers (other shops were quick to throw spacer kit recommendations at me) and Jaime was sure to research and recommend quality US made parts to fit within this scope. He never recommended things I didn't need just to make a buck - only parts and work that would be beneficial in the long run. For this time around, I opted for 3" adjustable struts with new CV axles. His shop is fair, professional, courteous and walked me through the work done. I was so nervous when I dropped her off to have "cosmetic" work done BUT was very excited and happy with the outcome! When my truck was stolen I ended up attacking my mid life crisis the only way a weirdo like me would...I bought a 2003 Honda Element...and lifted it. Of course for such a task I want to find someone not just to properly install my Aerogenics lift kit, but someone to maintain my new car for the long haul. Enter Jamie. Called and talked to him about my car and what I'm looking to do. Made an appointment and he had the ride for a few days. Installation of said lift kit, new struts, front lower control arms....everything I'd need to make sure the lift was done properly. "Do anything you see that needs fixing..." I said. These types of statements are usually mechanic bait to replace x, y, z, a, b, AND c....fortunately the Element was as well kept as it was advertised, and nothing else was needed. GREAT! Now I knew I'd come back for anything else. Out the door a day earlier than expected at a reasonable price that represented the quality and value of the work performed. Brought my truck there. Have about 75k on my truck that has a 6" lift. Needed a new set of tires. Also wasn't riding as smooth as it use to and tires were wearing uneven. I wanted them to go through everything and recommend what needed to be done to get it riding right again. They went through it completely. Showed me exactly what parts were warn or needed to be replaced. They even pulled my Fox shocks and sent them out to get rebuilt. A few days later, got my truck back and it's never rode better. Even smoother and more comfortable than when the lift was first installed. Couldn't be happier. And did not feel like they did any work that didn't need to be done. Jamie was very upfront and honest with me about what the cost would be. Few weeks later I brought my wife's car in for the brakes. Got me in and out quick at a fair price. I was looking for a company to install a Rough Country leveling kit for my 2020 Chevy Colorado. I searched on Yelp and found a shop in Brentwood called Extreme Motorsports. I was reading the reviews and one of their customers wrote a negative review and recommended 510 Customs as an alternative. I contacted 510 Customs and spoke to the owner Jaime. He was very knowledgeable, professional and all around nice guy! He gave me a quote that was reasonable and much less than the two I had. I made an appointment and the entire process went smoothly and I am very happy with the results. Jamie and his team were great! Anytime I had a question, they were very patient and responsive. A couple of weeks after the install, I started hearing and squeak and thought it was an issue the lift kit. Jaime had me come in and they checked everything to insure the kit was installed properly. Turns out it was an issue with my running boards. Then I thought I was having issues with the alignment so he had me come back and they checked it again no issues. I've used 510 to install various upgrades to my 4x4. Brush guard, pocket fender flares, 3 undercarriage skid plates, off road led lights, and a high end aluminum tonneau cover. Plus, I had them remove the front air dam on the truck. I waited until all the work was completed and had a chance to put some miles on my truck before writing this review. I gotta say I'm very pleased with results. The price was very reasonable and their workmanship was excellent. They obviously take pride in their work. I don't write many reviews but these guys rock. Reached out to 510 Customs, via Yelp for a quote on lifting my sisters 4Runner. Jamie responded promptly and provided a quote, which was reasonable. The parts order and install took longer than expected. Jamie did stay in touch and when the parts were in, he scheduled a time for the install. Installation took longer than expected, but we didn't mind this too much as we wanted them to take their time with this install and do the job well (did not want a rush job). When we arrived for pick up at the time provided by Jamie, the truck was still on the lift, but Ken was there to let us know what was going on. We stayed awhile until the work was completed. It is a one or two man operation with Jamie and Ken running things and they seemed busy, so you will need to be patient. We are happy with the work performed and the service we received from the 510 Customs team and plan to use their business for future work on my other vehicles and would recommend them to friends and family. We purchased a used Jeep in early July that ended up in Jaime's care that same week.
