I had a pleasure working with Frank. I previously had my Tesla Model 3 tinted and ppf'd and they did an amazing and swift job, called in and left with my car same day. I cracked my windshield on the highway and I called in today and they said they were able to immediately order new glass for me and have it finished by Tuesday. Prices are fair, and they offer many quality services, highly recommend them. read more

It's gone out of business, verified by the Tint World Corporate office. The work they did for me last November (2025) had no paint correction prior to PPF application creating numerous obvious bubbles. Their first application went wrong and due to admitted employee mistakes and they had to reapply. They had my car for TWO and a HALF WEEKS to apply a full front protection PPF. They didn't give me any labor warranty info even after several requests and they didn't give me any material information so now I can't get material warranty either. Now the film is peeling at the wheel well after 5 months. I'm not surprised they went out of business. If Frank (owner) opens any new businesses possible patrons should be very wary of it. Tint World Corporate won't cover any labor issues from it's franchises. read more

Called Saturday morning and was invited to come and get windshield tinted. I arrived 8 minutes later from another shop, DoubleTake Auto Spa was too busy. When I arrived Frank set up my work order, and later returned my tinted Model Y within the hour. (that kind of service speed can't be often beat in today's service climate.) I previously tinted all windows on that Model Y, a year ago at this same shop. A cracked windshield brought me back. So I gotta recommend. read more

This place is a scam, and now it makes sense after seeing all these similar reviews. I had a terrible experience with Frank at. Tint World in Fremont. I went it and was sold their "highest quality" window film. What I got was a tint job with bubbles on several windows with edges completely missed on the front 2 windows. When I called about fixing it after a week of letting the tint dry, they told me to come back and that they would take care of it. I showed up and the store was closed and had permanently shut down the next day with no notice. Now I'm stuck with a bad tint job and no business to stand behind their work. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable read more

Hello Everyone, I hate doing this because I am a person who likes to believe in the best of people, but the circumstances suggest the recent 1-star reviews are authentic. I paid $2,459 for ambient lighting to be installed in the car. They had my car for 3 business days (they worked on it during the MLK holiday) and did not complete the work. The install was supposed to cover the dash, all four doors, and the lining behind the front seats, but they only completed half of the dash and the doors. The owner, Frank, scheduled an appointment with me to return on Feb 4th to complete the work, and when I arrived at the scheduled time, I found that the store was permanently closed! I called Tint World corporate customer service number and confirmed that the store is closed and that Frank is no longer the owner. Truly devastating. read more

Just an update. I had my 5th car's windows tinted by Tint World. Just like my previous experience; excellent workmanship, very profesional and fair pricing. They offer other services too. Check them out. read more

I paid $1,300 for the "Ultimate Nano Ceramic Tint" on my Tesla Model Y at Tint World in Fremont, CA. I chose them because they're listed as an authorized Tesla tint provider and trusted them to deliver quality work. When I picked up the car, I noticed bubbles, dust specks, and bent areas in the film. I was told the bubbles would go away--and while some did, the dust and creases remained. Despite the lifetime warranty, I was so disappointed with the initial job that I chose not to return. For the price and reputation, I expected better. I wouldn't recommend Tint World Fremont based on my experience. read more

Went here to get my head unit checked out because of the random cut off when I'm listening to music, which caused a long static noise that would randomly occur. Not sure what happened during the diagnostics, but the shop wanted to charge me over $500 just to perform additional testing. Keep in mind that I purchased this unit directly from them, so you'd think that I would get some sort of coverage after I've invested a lot of money for this unit and installation! I ended up going to another shop and they tested the cables, and that turned out to be the issue. A new USB cable didn't costed me anything because I had spare ones at home. read more

Tint World in Fremont is the worse. They are far from satisfactory and do very poor quality of work . I spent a lot of time waiting, rescheduling, and dealing with terrible work. My windows were left with many visible bubbles. Frank, the owner told me to wait 5 days for the bubbles to settle, but this didn't work. After making a new appointment they agreed to replace the film and promised a bubble free result. The issues continued and were worse the next time. The person at the front desk would schedule appointments, only for them to get rescheduled due to the technician calling out sick. He told me he will talk with Frank about my problems. Yet, I've never received a clear resolution. I'm still waiting to see the outcome. The quality of work was disappointing. And The Frank appeared not willing to resolve the issues. Tint World in Fremont is fraudulent and not worth the hassle. Please try to explore other options. My experience was frustrating, and the results were terrible read more

Great job, a little pricey but good work. They fixed a bubble on the tint pretty quickly after it got done.

Service was good and price was fair. I would use them again. Nice store and easy to access from the freeway.

Fraud alert: beware, they will take your money in advance, will ask for bank transfers to avoid having any transaction and then return the car with no work done. Promised 2 days for ceramic coating and scratch repairs with color patching for $1700 but returned the car after 4 days with a poor $30 car wash and no work done to remove scratch or any painting done. This is a fraud business... please be very careful going here and NEVER paying advance read more

Came by today just to see the price of tints on my front window shield. They did a great job walking me through the process gave me good offers telling me the differences between their packages. They offer lifetime warranty. Overall will be back. After having my vehicle's windows tinted in December, I had quality concerns regarding four of the windows that were done here. I took my vehicle in and they agreed that the specific windows needed to be redone, and they made an appointment with me for the following week to have the work done. I showed up at that time, and they apparently spontaneously closed between the time they saw my vehicle and the date of my appointment. No effort was made to contact me to inform me before or afterward, and now I'm left fighting with my credit card company to try and get a refund since they never completed work I paid a fair amount of money to have done. read more

These guys know what they're doing and do way more work than their name gives them credit for. I originally went in for tint but to my surprise they're a complete performance driven (you should see some of the rides they're working on) custom auto shop that will get you anything you need for your ride. Anything! They've found me a killer pair of wheels for my truck and are getting ready to do complete air ride suspension so the truck will essentially lay frame. I've gotten many quotes in the surrounding area and they're killing the competition with value and service! Customer service is top notch and is always on your side to get you exactly what you want. I'm always calling in with questions and if they can't answer that second, they will call you back. I recommend these guys 10/10. This is the goto shop. Guaranteed. I will add pictures of the trucks air ride when completed. Should be getting started in a couple weeks. Stoked! read more

TL;DR: If you come here, be prepared that they will find any excuse to dodge fixing the scratches and bubbles on your tint. Highly not recommended honestly. The tint job is terrible. There are bubbles, scratches, contamination on my tint. And they cannot fix them even though I asked for repairs twice. I am going there next week again(third times) to fix scratches. Hopefully this time they can do the job well. I won't come back again if I ever need to tint. Update: They refuse to fix it. They keep saying it's a standard to have scratches and the scratches on my car is still within the standard. They showed me the small lines on the sale contract that states that the warranty only covers imperfection if it's more than 5% of the whole area. Since the scratches on my film are still within their "standard", they won't fix it. I already told them I don't agree with their "standards" and I can't tolerate the scratches especially they are at eye level. They still insist it is "insignificant". WTF? I don't get their logic. The logic Frank(a manager there) has is, they can tolerate the imperfections on their cars, why not they have to fix the imperfections on my car. It is the same logic as, "I can eat sh*t, why you just cannot accept it and eat it, too?" I went there and paid 950 dollars to get a tint, but instead, I should only expect to get a tint that is 95% "good"? This is non-sense and ridiculous. Anyway, I don't know what I can do to make them fix my tint now. Suing? Not sure it will work and worth my time for a few hundreds of dollars. Please don't go there if you value good service. Take a look at the reviews for "Mr. tint" in San Jose and you will know the difference of feedback between them. I really regret going to tint world. (I didn't have yelp account before. But they are just so bad that I HAVE to create an account and leave a comment here. Funny enough, right?) read more

We got quotes from 3 of the top rated window tinting firms in Fremont. Frank was aggressive on his pricing and very helpful on which material and level of tinting would fit our needs. We wanted significant UV and heat protection, so we ended up going with their Xpel Nano XR Plus option. They were able to do both of our cars in one day, and they looked great when we picked them up. We could easily see out our windows at night and my car was reasonably cool, after leaving it out in 91 F heat with the sunroof cover open for 6 hours. read more

So I was looking for a place to buy some custom wheels and tires for my sons car that we recently bought. I call many shops and came across Tint World and called them to get some info on the services they provide and I happened to talk to the owner Frank and we was very present and also extremely knowledgeable about not only getting some new custom wheels but also let's have a nice tint as well. Frank spent alit of time on the phone answering all my questions and I felt very comfortable giving my business to him. The end result is in the picture and my son couldn't be happier with the end result. Now it's my turn to go back to Tint World and have Frank and his very experienced professional team do the following # 1 lift my 2023 Tundra #2 custom wheels # 3 Add a sound system # 4 get a Tint Tint World You guy are absolutely amazing and thank you for all you have done for my sons car. STAY AWAY from this business! Don't believe the good reviews. Would give 0 stars if I could, this business is nothing short of sneaky theft. After another shop couldn't get my car alarm installed, I called this place to set an appointment to come in and was promised an emailed quote for options and pricing prior to coming to install the alarm. The email never came but I came in the shop anyway hoping for the best. They made it sound real good just to get my signature for the diagnostics and evaluation that they performed. I get a call back and they said they couldn't install it and tried to up sell me to a more expensive alarm for $1600!! Then they charged me $200 for a "diagnostic" fee to basically tell me something I already knew and that my alarm was not installed correctly. No sh** Sherlock! This business will try to up sell you, and they are not transparent with pricing. Now I'm out 200 bucks with little to no value in return all because I put my faith in their business. Avoid at all cost and shop around. read more

Had a great experience getting my car Tinted at Tint world in Fremont. Customer service was amazing. Specialist helped me pick out tint percentage and quality for my Infiniti G37 Sedan. I decided to wait for my vehicle instead of just dropping it off. They didn't waste no time. Once I picked out the tint and how dark I wanted they brought my car into the shop and started the tint process then and there. Took roughly 2 hours for the tint process which they told me in advance. I had no problem waiting for my vehicle, since I had my whole day free. I highly recommend going to them for any tint work down on your vehicle. They definitely know how to take care of their customers. Also if you have any questions do not be afraid to ask, because they will definitely answer your questions or any concerns you may have. read more

I got the windows on my 2024 Tesla Model X tinted through the Tesla/XPEL window tint program. The original XPEL installer that I was assigned to did a horrible job on the falcon wing door windows and told me that it was the best they could do. I brought my Tesla over to Tint World and they went above and beyond to fix the rear window tints, even though they were not the original installers, and made sure I was 200% satisfied with the installation. Frank, thank you for being so patient with me and taking care of my car. I appreciate you looking over every window and double checking to make sure everything is up to my standards. read more

Recommend that you avoid this shop. It's expensive for poor quality, takes a long time and the shop owner is dishonest and vindictive. $1400+ for a Model S full tint. The first job they did had poor quality, after leaving the car at the shop for 5 days the final job still has many little issues (ripped corners etc.) including cuts to the leather inside the car. Be careful if you provide feedback this shop will lock your car inside for the weekend and not return your calls. Speaking with the owner (Frank) regarding the issues, expect the reasons to constantly change with a shifting series of excuses. read more

I'll start off my review by saying I appreciate Frank and his crew for their time, but the experience and service received was far below expectations. I'll never return to this shop again for that reason alone. I requested to have my DRL headlight kit from RGB Halo installed as well as ambient interior lighting supplied completely by Tint World Fremont. Dropped off my car on Monday morning and had to pick it back up that evening because they didn't have all the parts needed. Returned Tuesday to drop off and was told car would be ready next day. I sat in the lobby for 30 minutes waiting to sign paperwork and finalize payment method but to my surprise no one ever came back out to assist me even though I was leaving my car. 24 hours passed with no communication from the shop. I had to call in order to get updates or speak with someone and that's what frustrated me the most. The work was delayed because the shop still didn't have all of the parts they needed and the glue being used on the headlights did not hold. Fast forward to Friday, a full week without the car, and still no apparent updates on when the work will be done or the status of the car. I called and talked with Frank on the phone to voice my frustration and he informed me that they can use a sealant on my headlights that will not be able to be removed once done. This was never the plan and there are tons of other Kia K5s that received the same job with epoxy. My thoughts at this point were "This is a 2-day job at most and I need my car." I requested to put down a $300 deposit to make sure my car was done Saturday regardless of their progress (Total was $1900.. or so I thought). Also asked for a quote on taillight reflector install (I had the parts) at this time. $187 was the charge but they weren't sure it could be done. Saturday, I receive no updates throughout the day. I send a text message around 1PM (attached) and immediately get a message saying "your car is ready for pickup." If I didn't reach out I'm sure I never would have got that message lol. We go to pick up the car Saturday evening and I was informed that they "rushed" to finish and I need to come back in a few weeks for them to clean up and correct the work. Pretty over it at this point so we paid and got out of there. Got home and had a mechanic come inspect the work. Here's what we found: - Headlights weren't wired correctly (blinkers don't work and they don't turn on with the car) - Dashboard clamps were broken so dash does not fit properly anymore with ambient lighting install - Sealant all over the headlights and body of the car - Worker left zip ties and tools in the car - Charged for rear light install although they weren't installed lol - Wires on ambient lighting showing above dash Overall paid $2100 for headlight install (already had the part) and ambient interior lighting (all parts provided by shop). I guess $187 of that was for rear lights that weren't put in so needs to be refunded. I don't mind the amount, but the work done does not warrant a $1900 job. Got some other quotes from people that did the same car and it's as little as $300 for ambient interior lights and $500 for headlight install (no permanent sealer). This job took 6 days and was done like they rushed. Not satisfied at all and highly regret my decision. I take full responsibility but want to earn anyone working with this shop to do thorough research prior and get a few estimates before leaving your car here! They will hold it hostage as stated in another review. Frank, I'm sure you'll respond to this faster than you have to my calls while my car was there. Hope you can take the review and feedback I provided and make improvements where needed. Customer service should be highlighted in this list. read more
