My man spoke directly with Rommel [owner] and set up an appointment to have my car brought in and worked on. We were able to book my appointment in a matter of days- talk about speedy service!! Rommel was very upfront about the 3 hour time frame that was going to be needed and I really appreciated how prompt his responses were whenever we reached out. On the day of my appointment, we gave the business a ring and requested to drop off my car earlier than our appointment. Toting around a toddler and working around her tight daily schedule would have been a little too difficult to manage and Rommel graciously accommodated. [[Please be advised that the business hours listed on Yelp isn't accurate, they open at 10am contrary to the 9am provided.]] I pulled up around 10:30am and was immediately greeted by Rommel and his big, bright smile. Since this was my first time having windows tinted, I requested that I take a look at the difference in shades before officially committing. He brought me inside and let me review the window film shades and he even pointed out cars on his lot with the tints that I was contemplating- this was much needed because seeing the colors live vs the display didn't exactly correlate. I went with 25% all around and before heading off I asked if they would have any issues doing my 2 front window since my Lexus model has 2 small speakers that are not removable, leaving the employees with a very very tiny space to work in. Rommel ensured me he would "do his best". 5/5 stars but I wouldn't hesitate to give him more if I could. Rommel's attempt to "do his best" is top notch high quality service and the warranty that comes with purchase solidifies his work ethics. Canlas tinting came recommended to me by my sister who loved her tint job. I read some of the 1 star reviews and was a bit wary. Made my appt with I think the son, who was very brusque and not too talkative. Went in on a Friday, and had to keep asking question after question. I did do some research but im a noob - i don't know anything about the tinting industry or what might look good on my car. I knew I wanted it dark, so that's what I said. I had to ask him to take me outside...I heard the dad saying nice and helpful stuff to another couple and wish I had him! I won't get into too much detail but basically there wasn't much communication and service. I felt no rapport, no trust, and no support from the guy who was helping me this whole time. The tint ended up super dark and I had some questions and regrets, but the son just said he was confused because he thought it was what I wanted, etc. I was trying to communicate that maybe I should go lighter but he said it would be a waste of time and money and that if I got a ticket, he'd take the tint off no charge.....so basically STILL a waste of money. The application looks good and the tint is pretty dope but I'm just so surprised at the mediocre service. I had to be the one asking so many questions, getting information was like pulling teeth! I even asked to see what my sister got but apparently they don't keep record of what their customers get. Anyway, I don't doubt they earned their five stars and that the father certainly knew his thing but man...the service REALLY needs a perk up. read more
