I needed a gear swap of my 2015 Jeep JK done, as I have 35" tires and a manual transmission, so the 5th and 6 gears were pretty gutless with the current 3:73 rear differential, which is no small job. Mike switched it out to 4:56 and now my Jeep does not have to be shfted down to 4th on hills on the freeway and has power throughout every gear, total game changer! I was referred by a friend to give Beep's a call regarding my inquiry of new tires and I'm so glad I called because their prices are very reasonable. ----LOCATION---- There's a HUGE sign when you're driving on Jackson street with the BEEP'S OFFROAD logo... I'm so glad it was HUGE because I would have missed the turn into the location. There are other shops and a screen printing shop in the same plaza type of area. Their front doors are double doors and the color is green and has a big sign on top of the doors that says "ENTRANCE" in black and white print. ----QUOTE/PAYMENT INFORMATION---- - They emailed me a quote - I was able to pay from a safe link (Shop Monkey) that they provided in the quote email - You are also able to pay in person but I love the fact that I was able to submit my payment online, it made payment quick and easy - There are also payment options with using a 3rd party to pay over time (interest-free/low-interest) companies: Sunbit or Affirm- You have to be approved by Sunbit/Affirm depending on credit score etc. This is a good option for those who are unable to pay for their services in full. SERVICES ----TIRES/ALIGNMENT---- I was looking for specific tires (Yokohama) for my car. I usually purchase them online and bring them to a local shop to have them install the tires for me but this time around, I do not have access for a bigger car to transport the tires. I contacted Beep's and they informed me that they were able to order my tires and also install them. Since I was already going to be at their shop for my tires, I inquired about an alignment and they were able to add that to my services on the same day. PHEW, I did not have to go to multiple shops and was able to do everything here. ----OIL CHANGE/INSTALLING HEADLIGHTS---- I contacted Beep's again because I needed someone to install my new headlights and at the same time I was due for an oil change so I inquired about that too. They were able to provide services for my civic to have an oil change and to install my headlights. THANKFULLY BECAUSE... "I'm just a girl". LOL I cannot do this on my own and the dealership quoted me way out of my price range. ----INTERIOR/RESTROOMS---- It's a clean facility and there is a waiting room with a TV and seats. Best shop in town. Workmanship is stellar; prices are competitive and the owner Carter is a reliable and respected businessman. As a mechanical over 20 years, I rarely let anybody work on my own vehicles, but Carter is my go to for all off-road installations. They did my truck right . Originally when I got my 33 inch tires put on at four wheel parts, the body mount chop they did was horrible. The wheels rubbed when turning hard left or right. Carter cut them off put on new plates and welded them but that wasn't it. They grind it down the welds and painted the new plates so it looked factory. No more rubbing. I had probably the worst week ever since owning a car/truck. All three of my vehicles going down for repairs in the same 48 hour period. I had called a few shops in the area Beep's being one of them. Initially, they were not going to be able to fit me in until the 13th. So I kept calling. I did find another appointment for a week sooner at another shop, but when it came time to get a quote for the work they were slow to respond. Mike gave me a quote for the work on the initial phone call. Even better, he called me two days later to say that he had had a cancelation and if I could bring my vehicle on that day they could get it done. They even had the parts I needed which I was still waiting for in the mail. All you need is a $50 deposit to hold it. I took my 2021 Toyota Sequoia TRD Pro in and had them install a Westcott designs 2 inch TRD Pro lift. I went in at 9:30 and they were done before 3:30 which was pretty fast in my opinion. I went ahead and put on Nitto 295/70 R18 tires. Brought my 2020 Toyota Tundra TRD PRO to this shop. After much research and calling shops in the Nor Cal area (SF BAY, SAC, and even So-Cal), I was still un-decided to move forward. The truck was carrying a lot of weight (rack and bed drawer system with gear) and the OEM springs were worn and caused the rear to squat. Although it was ok still, drive and function were not compromised, I questioned over time, if they would need to be replaced. Called other well-known shops and was told differing suggestions and of course was all expensive. I had heard of BEEPS in truck forums and decided to give them a call. Mike was very responsive (via text at first) which lead to many phone calls. I had many questions, concerns, and even with all that, he was very patient with answering them. He even went beyond and called some manufactures to check and double check if what he was suggesting could be done. After the 1st price quote, he was very up-front with pricing, and even helped ease my mind. I took what he suggested and compared to what other shops provided. BEEPS offered the same/similar to one shop (wont say name) but it was cheaper and with less bull with the advice. Mike was straight and to the point. There was no upsell or any advice based on making money. I went with a new set of tires (35's) wheels (18's) Westcott (front) and Icon leaf pack replacement in the rear. Alignment was included too! It was more (I felt) proper service, proper price, would result in future services for the truck. And this will be the case. Mike, (front) Carter (back mechanic) and the other tech (dont know his name) run a top notch shop with great quality work. All future mods will be done by BEEPS for sure! For my first major mod of the truck, his patience, sound advice, and reassurance before and after install, and of course the price, was all considered when going with BEEPS.
