Jarin came out to do an estimate for termite treatment. The price I was given was slightly better than what three other companies gave for the same service. On the day of the appointment, Jarin was on time, and was very thorough. He explained why he did the things he did, and the job was completed on time. There was no mess to clean up, and no damage to plants and bushes around the house. Later in the day, Adam came out to do some additional work inside the house. He was also in and out of the house within the one-hour time slot that was promised. Jarin and Adam were both very friendly and knowledgeable. When we bought our home 3 years ago, we had to go through 7 different escrows with termite & home inspections before we found a home we not only loved but that the VA would approve (If you know the VA then you know what I'm talking about!). Anyway, Adam with Drive-Bye was with us on every inspection and found some things that really saved our butts and kept us from making a serious mistake (These were problems that the home inspector should have caught, but didn't!). When we found our new forever home (Yes, we've had more than one, don't judge us) Adam gave it a clean bill of health and we've been happy ever since. Drive-Bye Exterminators is a small local company that not only has FANTASTIC prices on one time or yearly services but it is a family within itself. The employees who were at the company 3 years ago when we first called on them are still there. My daughter knows and always says hello to Mr. Darek when he comes out and knows Mr. Tom and his wife, the owners, as well. They not only help you to control the pests in your home but they have offered us tips and solutions for things WE can also do to reduce issues. For example, we lived in a townhome and had Argentinian carpenter ants, which for one thing I had never heard of, Darek suggested that in the room we had noticed them we ensure the caulking was redone around the windows, and in the bathroom around the tub and tiles, and then he treated the outside. They were gone within 60 days as promised. In our new home, we had roaches everywhere when we moved in as well as LOADS of spiders. The previous tenant was not as tidy or conscious of pests as we are, having 2 kids. Thankfully Drive-Bye not only uses sprays and treatments which are kid friendly but also pet friendly as we have 4 cats. Having spoken to Tom Smiddy, the company owner, who also owns cats I knew we had a company we could trust with not only our kids but our animals too. We have annual service and after the first 90 days after initial treatment we have no issues. But every time we have our quarterly service call we are asked if there are any issues or anything specific we would like or feel we need treated. They are excellent in following up and the service is the absolute best. Trust me, you won't get this level of care or service from any other company. Drive-Bye is THE best! read more

I called around 10 am as we discovered an ant problem in our home the day before and our DIY treatment did not seem to be having an effect. I explained that would be out of town for a couple of days in the upcoming days and wanted to see if there was anyway we could get this treated before then. Of course the thought of ants taking over our home while we were away was not what we wanted. Within 10 mins Adam called and said he was on his way. He did a very detailed inspection, explained it very well, and then got to work on it. His customer service and attention to detail was impressive and he thanked me for having him come out, but I was thankful that he was able and willing to come so quickly. I found Drive Bye on Yelp to get a pest control spray for a condo my mom is moving into. I requested a quote and received a response within 1 hour! It was very reasonable compared to two others that responded and I liked the reviews and that it seemed personable being family owned. Derak came out Wednesday to view the condo and confirmed original quote and a 1 year gaurantee! Pest control was completed today - 1 week start to finish. The owner (Tom Smiddy) will always answer your calls and if he is unavailable, he ALWAYS calls you back as soon as he can (even after hours). They will come to your home for ANY concern and they TERMINATE the problem the first time...be it ants or termites or bugs. I have had nothing but excellent service and to be honest because they treat the exterior of my home, there is no need for pest control inside my home. Tom takes time to explain things, always call you the day before your service is due to see if you are having any issues, and is always polite and friendly. The men working for Tom are always punctual and courteous and extremely friendly. They take time to remove their shoes if they come into your home and they genuinely care about you the customer. In fact, Derick stopped what he was doing to help me close a heavy truck tailgate when he saw me struggling to get it in a locked position. What a gentleman! This is a superb company. When I first called them about two years ago, my house had not been treated for any sort of pests in years, which needless to say is a problem in Florida. Not only did they take care of the immediate problem, but their follow up maintenance program has been excellent. Communication is excellent, work is done when promised and we have had no problems.
