DO NOT HIRE LEMEKI - he hired me to take on two of his clients projects that he simple couldn't do nor had the equipment to. He was the main contractor and I was the sub. Once the job was completed he was paid right away by his clients and he ran away with the money, we were never paid and he stopped responding to my calls and his clients. Sadly we had to place liens on the homes as we were out over $20,000 and Lemeki was enjoying the money. In July 2019 we purchased the house we were renting. Part of the closing agreement was a $4,000 payment to drip tech toward upgrading our sewer lateral. Lemeki obtained the permit with Marin county and had the lines drawn, but never showed up, and then Covid came. Throughout the time we have called and emailed Lemeki, as well as the team at Drip Tech and nobody returns our call. I am not sure what to do anymore. Bottom line: we just want our sewer lateral fixed. It feels more like we were robbed of that $4,000. Unless drip tech can make good on the payment and begin the work they were partially paid for, I would not recommend them for anything. read more

Just had my first (of hopefully few) plumbing emergencies this morning. My shower faucet wouldn't turn the valve off and low and behold I was confronted with a gushing bathtub! Super yikes! Mind you this was at 5 AM! After turning off the main waterline to the house, I frantically called as many Novato serving plumbing companies as possible. I guess July 31st is just the day for plumbing problems, for everyone was booked until the following day! When I called this number, I left a rather unhopeful message after all the disappointment I had. Then, about 10 minutes later, I get a call back and I'm told this company can send out a plumber in like 30 minutes. I was totally doing my happy dance!! The plumber arrived ready, helpful, and early! His name was Juan Jr., soft spoken and yet knowledgeable. He went to work right away and explained everything he was going to do and need. Turns out I needed to replace a few corroded parts due to wear and tear. He had to a quick jaunt over to the hardware store to get the specifics. But even including that trip, it was all complete within an hour. He made sure I double checked his work, too, before leaving. The price was so reasonable, too! Totally recommend this company. Today the pipe leading to one of my toilets started spurting water totally out of the blue. My regular plumber wasn't available, so he recommended Driptech. Amazing. Had an emergency issue on a weekend at 7am. Answering service took my details and got a call from the company within 2 minutes. Esteban came and did a very thorough job both fixing all issues and clearly explaining them to us. He checked everything that could possibly go wrong and gave us the option of what to fix and what to think about for future visits. This is the company for you if you have recently won the lottery and feel like throwing money away. I contacted the company to come fix a pipe in the basement of my restaurant. The landlord had contacted me and said he would pay for the repair. It was such an easy job that I would have done it myself but we where busy. Two plumbers showed up to fix a leaky pipe. Then a 3 plumber brought the parts from Mill Valley. The bill had no breakdown for parts which at max could have cost $50. It simply listed service call fee $59 and line 2 with no description says $716. So for a grand total of $775 3 plumbers used a screwdriver to tighten 4 rubber gaskets. This is the only 1 star review I will probably ever write but I am just so appalled at how shady these guys are. By the way no line on the bill for tax??? read more

Five stars for responsiveness. I called three others late Monday morning and none could come until Tuesday (perhaps because this was going to be a small job? far less than an hour of work). These guys were able to come within two hours. Very much appreciated this. And they fixed the problem. Four stars because I'm not sure about how competitive the pricing was. They seemed to charge a one hour minimum which I suppose others do. I felt the price was high for a very small job and not much travel time, but I could be wrong. I also encountered some sales pressure to replace another part, which likely would have caused the job to go over an hour. Maybe it was good advice to replace it to avoid a future issue, not sure. read more

We were very happy with our service with Driptech. We have used them on two different occasions - once for a heating vent issue and another time for a plumbing issue. Lemeckie was extremely friendly and made sure that one of his team members helped us when he was unavailable. We received same day service. Felix who is on Lemeckie's team could not have been nicer. He even saw that my 4 year old loved Spiderman and the following day came back with Spiderman comic books and a Spiderman mask for him! I always enjoyed having the owner do our work for us but the last couple of times they have been hiring new employees and they do not know what they are doing. I have had 2 forced air heaters installed and both where installed improperly. I had another company come out to check and they are saying i need over a $1,000 worth of work done to correct the mistakes on each unit. I called Drip tech to redo the work they did correctly but they will not honor their mistakes. This is a sign that they are not trustworthy and that they are doing inferior work. Driptech Plumbing is the most unprofessional plumber I have ever used. His employee seemed totally unqualified and in over his head. He didn't know how to put the shower fixture together. He didn't protect the floors or surrounding area with plastic leaving a huge mess that took me hours and hours to clean. After having 3 other contractors / plumbers come check the work, I learned it was done wrong and now have to redo ALL of it. I thought I had hired a great plumber and was excited to have my bathroom working beautifully. Now I have to pay for everything to be fixed. I found a leak at the kitchen faucet pipe, and a puddle of water under the cabinet on a Friday evening. I gave Lemeki a call the next day and he got the problem go away in 5 minutes. I crawled under the sink and took couple of pictures of the leak where I thought it was. He called me back immediately and he knew exactly what was going on. It turned out the pipe was fine and the connection at the top got loose. He helped me to fix it over the phone. He spent his time To help me and didn't charge for it. The first job Lemeki did for me was the remodel of my kitchen. He did an excellent job. What I like about Lemeki is that he stands by his work. Frankly awful service - they upsold us into a tankless heater which when installed was so noisy we had to have it removed and asked for the old model back. They refused to give us our money back and in the process of putting the heaters in and out made several substantial holes in our wall that we then had to chase them to do a half assed job of fixing them. When I first spoke to Lemecki I explained a problem I was having with a leak from an unknown location and that I had been out of the country when the leak began and that I knew about the leak because I had signed up for leak alerts emails. We made an appt for him to come out and I arranged my schedule around this appointment. He was a no show. I called and he said he would call me right back. That didn't happen. So I called again and we made another appt which he was very late to. I showed him the area where water was leaking and showed him my basement and said he would need to look around at the pipes to see where the leak was coming from. He never did that. What he did tell me was that he needed to replace a drain pipe. I was a bit overwhelmed so I went along with it. I asked what the charges would be and he said either a flat fee of $900, or $195/hour. I didn't want to go with the $900 but I know how when tradesmen charge an hourly rate, that that can go sideways so I accepted the $900 charge. The work took less than 2 hours and of course didn't resolve the issue. Several days after I texted Lemecki to let him know the leak was still happening, he said he would repair it. He sent to of his employees over who reached over my LOCKED gate and unlocked it and let themselves in. There is a door bell in full view, by the way. The workers didn't say anything, but rather, just went to work. I told them to stop working because I wanted to explain the situation and one of the guys used foul language and I told him that such language was uncalled for. He didn't care for my message and he and his colleague left. I phoned Lemecki and was pretty fired up at this incredibly unprofessional behavior and ended up dropping an f bomb at which time Lemecki said he wouldn't talk to me anymore because I had used profanity. I apologized 4 times and reminded him he employee used foul language (but that didn't seem to matter. Oh, the irony!). Lemecki then invited me to get a lawyer and hung up on me. Some texts followed where he explicitly denied my having told him about the water leak, et cet and he refuses to accept any responsibility. I think he is unscrupulous and dishonest and does shoddy work. read more

The prior owner of my home hired Lemeki to replace the lateral sewer line in January 2017. After we purchased the home in July 2017, we noticed the downstairs tub didn't drain properly. Fast forward a year and multiple snakings + a hydrojetter from other plumbers and we learned that when Lemeki replaced the sewer lateral, he neglected to connect the tub to the new line. The water had been draining under the house for over a year. In a panic, I hired the plumber who diagnosed it to fix the issue. When I reported the problem to Lemeki, he pointed fingers at the prior owner as well as the county inspector as the people at fault rather than taking ownership. Admittedly, I should have given him the opportunity to fix the problem, and I recognized that by asking him to only reimburse me for 1/3 of the cost of the fix. He actually agreed, then went dark, resurfaced promising an answer from his bookkeeper, then went dark again. I would not hire him based upon the huge oversight he made by not connecting the tub line to the new sewer plus the fact that he is not true to his word and never delivered on his promise of reimbursing me for 1/3 of the cost. He is not trustworthy. For reference, this is the first negative review I've ever written and wish I didn't have to do so. read more

We had a leaky bathroom faucet. I saw all the good reviews on Yelp, so I called this plumbing firm. The plumber never showed up for our scheduled appointment, so after 1.25 hours, I called Driptech. The man on the phone insisted that the plumber had been waiting outside our door and had been calling us repeatedly. This was not the case, as I was at home (taking time off work) the whole time. Ten minutes later the guy on the phone called back to apologize --- the plumber had been given the wrong address and phone number. I said I could wait another half hour for him to arrive. When Juan, the plumber, finally arrived, he looked at the cartridge in the faucet and said he would have to take the part and bring it to a distributer to see if they had the part in stock. He came back at the end of the day, put the broken part back, saying a replacement part had been ordered, which he would pick up early the following week. He then asked me to write a check for $300 for his time. The following week I had no call back, so called them. I was asked to be at the house the next afternoon, as they had the replacement part. I left work early and waited. No one showed up, so I called. The fellow apologized for not calling me to cancel the appointment, saying the part had not been picked up and they planned to get it the next morning. Juan showed up the next day with the replacement cartridge. It took about 10 minutes to install. He then asked me to pay another $250 --- $100 for the part and $150 for the labor (one hour minimum charge). I also asked for a copy of a receipt for the part, so if another faucet broke I would know the part number and pick up the component myself. The plumber said I would have to call his boss: the boss was very resistant to this idea and said no one had ever asked him for a part name and number before. After a lot of arguing, he said that he would email the part information to me later. Meanwhile, I strongly objected to being charged $550 to fix a leaky faucet and Juan agreed to accept $150 as final payment (for a total of $450 for the job). The boss emailed me the part number later. I checked on the Internet and could find no reference to the name and number he gave me (but did see that comparable parts cost no more than $25). I sent another email, asking for him to email me the receipt from the distributer where he purchased the part. It was never sent to me (I assume because he did not want me to see the big markup they applied). So I still do not know the item # for the part, in the event that the adjoining sink develops a leak. In summary, I will let the Yelp reader decide whether this is good, cost-effective service. I do know that Driptech will never get any repeat business from me. read more

These guys came out in about 15 minutes to fix an overflowing toilet on a Sunday afternoon on Labor Day. Pretty impressive. They were the only plumber that returned my call today when the shit was hitting the floor. Fortunately it wasn't my bathroom floor, but the neighbor's below. The contractors who recently remodeled our apartment left an old rag in the drain. The plumber pulled it out in a few minutes after removing the toilet and running a commercial snake through the pipes. Quick and competent, though not cheap. read more

We have used Driptech in the past for simple sewer snaking, but this time they we needed them big time. It was the Friday before thanksgiving and our sewer line caved in on itself. The problem was very complicated since the pipe ran through the neighbor's yard and was about 100 feet long. They walked us through all of the possible solutions and it seemed best for everyone to dig a new trench across our front yard and tie into a different sewer line. They showed up early the next day (saturday) with a team of guys and started digging a ridiculously deep long trench. They worked from the morning until after sunset to get the project completed by Thanksgiving. I didn't know it was possible to accomplish such a feat but they did it. I called Lemeki based on his 5 star reviews and the fact that I see his van all the time in my neighborhood. I needed him to install a water pressure reducing valve and expansion tank at my new home. Since my water hater was at the end of its life, Lemeki recommended that he replace it at the same time. He gave me a reasonable quote for the work and came out two days later to do the job. The work is excellent, and he took the time to show me in detail how everything functions. I know I'll be calling Lemeki again for whatever other plumbing jobs that I might have.
