They did it all, very well, and at a fair price. I called Drip Drop Plumbing for help with a toilet problem. They looked for the least expensive solution, and gave me what I felt was a fair price for the work. It turned out that the problem was much more extensive than just the toilet; it was a backed-up sewer problem. Drip Drop then looked for the least expensive way to solve the problem and again gave me a price. The work was now much more extensive, but I believe the price was again fair. The plumber that I thought I needed turned out to be a plumbing contractor, and Drip Drop was capable in all areas. In the end, old clay sewer pipe was replaced with PVC, and it was gratifying to know that Drip Drop was capable of doing what ever it took to correct the problem. This is not the kind of project that one looks forward to having done, but it was necessary, and Drip Drop did a fine job. They were careful to keep the dust and dirt to a minimum, and they were very professional in every aspect. They always knew exactly the right thing to do. Thank you Carla and thank you Shawn. I called in this morning to a website that will distribute my work request to a bunch of contractors and they are the first one to call!. Carla is very courteous and pleasant. Shawn is prompt to the service and again nice guy. very knowledgeable and as a customer, you get no pressure at all from Shawn. He is not persuading you to change additional things as he is onsite. He will provide his opinion and customer is free to call them out again for service next time. The job that I called them for is that I had a bad sump pump and i wasn't paying much attention to it until the alarm went off on the battery back up one. The main one is not working and the back up cannot handle the amount of water coming in also.. it was to a point that it almost over flow. But if changing both pumps at the same time is painful on the monthly expense, so eventually I only changed the main. However, I totally enjoy the experience and I will definitely call Drip Drop again for any other plumbing job in the future. Prompt, courteous, reasonable priced, and quality work. I had an outside faucet problem that had been bugging me for quite awhile. I set up an 11:00 appointment. Shaun showed up at 11:00.That was the first thing that impressed me. After I explained what my problem was, he explained what the remedy would be and told me exactly what he would do. He answered any and every question that I asked. I hired them to replace drain pipe (old metal) for washing machine with PVC and install new garbage disposal. They talked me into cleaning the drain pipe instead. After work was complete, they said 90 warranty would only be honored if lint trap installed. Once the lint trap was purchase we notice the instructions said do not use in pipe. Great, now I will still have to get the pipe replaced. Added expense and time. They installed garbage disposal. Then the dishwasher did not drain. Called repairmen and instead of problem with dishwasher, repairman checked garbage disposal hook up and noticed plug was not removed in disposal. He punched out plug and dishwasher worked. The instruction clearly state to knock out plug if attached to a dishwasher. Another added expense. DON'T think I will be using these guys ever again. Will you? read more

I used HomeAdvisor to find a plumber to look at my broken toilet handle. Drip Drop Plumbing called me back immediately, were very friendly, and offered to come out with a free estimate as soon as was convenient for me. Lou arrived promptly, answered all of my questions, also looked at my sink and bathtub, and made useful, specific recommendations. He gave me a reasonable estimate of the repairs needed for each, and then worked on the toilet repair. He was very professional and nice in his manner, and repaired the toilet very effectively---it now flushes better than it ever did. Alarm on back up battery for sump pump was going off & we couldn't get it off. Called drip drop plumbing. First guy shows up and says it's a broken dipstick which he thought he could repair quickly & easily. Second guy (owner) shows up while 1st guy outside getting tools. Five minutes later he tells me we need a new pump and battery backup. $1700 minimum. Bought a new battery on our own and fixed it for $100. read more

Had Ronny come out to look at my water heater in my home daycare center. He came out within 2 hours and that was important cause that blizzard hit the very next day. Initially it seemed like a simple fix and all was well. Then the unit immediately failed and he dug deeper. All this time he called me on the phone to tell me exactly what was happening as I was working at my job across town. He explained the situation clearly and showed, with personal intent, that he will do whatever it takes to get this job done. I would NOT recommend this company for your plumbing needs. We called them on a Sunday night because of a leak at our townhouse in the city. After a few hours, their plumber showed up just to say he couldn't fix the issue because he couldn't shut off the main water line and that he had to call the city in the morning. He spent an hour or so there doing who knows what, apparently making the leak worse. I called the city emergency line and they told me ANY licensed plumber should know how to shut off the water main. Sure enough, I called another plumbing company the next morning and they knew how to shut off the main. The other plumbing company was in and out in 30 minutes and completely fixed the issue and even commented how the last plumber, aka the drip drop plumber, had made the problem worse! Not only that but this plumber fixed the problem for $1000 LESS than drip drop quoted us to fix the issue! I'm not sure if drip drop's emergency tech on call is just not knowledgable but I would Not recommend this company! read more

For basic plumbing jobs these guys are fine. In fact, the plumber with whom we worked was downright nice. That said, we made the mistake of giving them the go ahead to fix a sewage pipe leak. The plumber assured us that the job was no big deal and that he knew exactly where the leak was. Unfortunately, a job that took him 3 days to do ended in money out the door for us and remained unsolved until we hired a plumbing company that actually specialized in sewer problems. To make matters worse, what was written on our invoice was not the work the plumber did-he claimed to have replaced 10 ft. of pipe when he might have replaced 6 ft. at best. In an effort to recoup the money we spent, the owner Ron won't return my husband's calls and won't address the photos we took showing that they didn't install the amount of piping they charged us for. In short, we would never hire them for any future work and warn folks about using them for anything other than basic plumbing jobs. read more

BEWARE!!!! Called the company for my electric water heater. Service guy came out and reset the water heater. He said everything looks good and left 15 min later. About an hour after he left a strong electrical smell was coming out of the closet. I called the company back and told them the issue...it took them over two hours to get a service guy back. The guy came back and said its a really strong smell. I watched him take off the cover to the water heater and noticed the thermostat was turned to max. I asked if he turned it to max and he said yes. I thought that sounded dangerous. I noticed he made a few calls on his phone and had no clue what he was doing. He finally came back and said we needed to replace everything and it was going to be $855. I called another company and they looked at it and said it was a bad thermostat. $100 dollars fixed the problem. I was out the $160 Drip Drop charged me for the service call!! Not happy read more
