I've been to Drip Drop twice now and have really enjoyed the experience both times. It's super cozy inside, with the cutest decorations. It felt like a welcome respite from the cold and wind today. I ordered a 12oz Hazelnut Chai ($6.25), which was delicious! Chai is my favorite, so I've had many, and I'd come back for this one. There are a number of size options with prices that I felt were applicable to the size. The staff here have been very warm both times. It was a super cold Saturday and I needed a place to grab good coffee and get a bit of work done, so I found this cafe. They have great options for specialty lattes. Thank goodness I don't live nearby or else this would be a regular stop for me. The staff here is what makes the place great, alongside the fact that there's actually spacious seating options and a great vibe overall. I loved my iced hazelnut chai latte and also loved that I could get a smaller size than most places in Philly allow for, even when iced. I highly recommend this spot. The customer service was outstanding and the coffee was excellent. The food looked delicious but I didn't order anything. I came in on a cold winter morning on my way to work. The barista warmly and energetically greeted me. I was handed the seasonal meaning, and I asked about the flavors of a coupon of the seasonal drink. The barista gave me such detailed descriptions of the items. I appreciated the extra effort he put in to the answers. I ended up ordering a hot toffee caramel latte to-go. The drink was smooth and not that sweet. I only wished the temperature of the drink was hotter since I was outside walking and drinking at the same time, and would have appreciated holding on to something hot for a hot longer. Met someone at Drip Drop Cafe for a business kinda meeting. Someone DMd me on Instagram saying they liked my food videos, and suggested we meet here to talk big, big business. I have under 3,000 followers on IG at the moment, so I was pretty surprised why they would reach out but they said they loved my stuff so that gave me a warm fuzzy feeling inside. Stumbled upon this cute little coffee shop while walking around SoHo and really enjoyed my time here! If you're a fan of fun lattes, they definitely have some cool drink combos, as well as the traditional coffee options. The Toasted Marshmallow Latte was quite delicious!! It had a pretty strong marshmallow taste and "sweetness" without it actually being too sweet. It wasn't too milky or overpowered by the espresso flavors. My partner got a Cortado and he thought it was pretty solid with a nice strong shot of espresso. I believe they use Think Coffee beans. The staff were SO nice. Not only was the cashier super friendly and answered our questions, the staff member who delivered our coffee was also smiley and very considerate. They all double checked how our coffee was. The taste was not like coffee. It tasted more like a juice almost ?? I can't describe it. But we did not vibe. On my recent NYC trip, my friend and I tried this cute cafe that had glorious reviews on Google and Yelp and this place did not disappoint. It's a very small cafe with limited indoor seating, however they have few outdoor seating too that are typically occupied on bright warm days. I ordered an Espresso with fresh orange juice and my friend ordered an Americano. We loved our respective coffees. I've tried Espresso with orange juice in Palm Springs before and they had added sparkling water as well to the drink. I loved how the sparkling water gives a carbonated refreshing feeling and I enjoyed that in my coffee with the OJ combination which was missing in this one. But I guess that's a "me" issue, the overall drink was yummy and I enjoyed it. They have limited vegan savory options but wide range of coffee options. Because even though my interactions with the barista and the cashier were brief, I had an extremely pleasant experience. If I'm ever back in this area, I will only ever get my coffee here.
