The Alps Bark Park

The Alps Bark Park

I first used The Alps for their in-home pet care and have since taken my dog for grooming, which…read morehas been excellent! After moving to Seward from out-of-state, I was so pleased to find The Alps Bark Park offered reasonably priced in-home care for pets. We were heading back to visit family for 10 days and I knew my poodle would be anxious if I boarded her. Also, I have two cats. As soon as our vacation began, I started getting photos of my happy animals. It was clear my pets were becoming very comfortable with Scott and Patty. Now that we have been here in Seward for over a year, we have gotten to know our neighbors. They are amazing and offer to watch the animals when we are away, but I feel like this could be a burden for them, possibly keeping them home from a fun day trip opportunity. Prior to our last vacation I told our neighbor that I had The Alps scheduled for in-home care at certain times and that the animals would love some extra company in between then if he had the time. When we returned, he said "Those dog park people were so punctual! They came every time, right on time." It is so amazing to have such a great service. It makes you feel comfortable vacationing, even when you have to leave your beloved animals.

It was Olivers first time going to the daycare and groomer here. He had a great time. The staff…read morewas really friendly and helpful. The grooming manager was extremely thorough about what i did and didn't want for his groom. He is a Scottie and they can be difficult to groom. He is only 2 yrs. Old and high energy. We have taken him to numerous groomers and all have stated he was a "sweet boy" and pleasantly surprised for a Scottie. But his cut was never quite what we wanted. That is why we did make sure we gave a review. The cut Paige did on Oliver was perfect. My husband was even surprised. He was used to seeing him and saying "well, it will grow out and look better". But not this time. He sat down and played with him and said "he really does look perfect!". And he does. He looks perfect. So, i would definitely recommend this place. It is worth the money. And it will be the only place we will be taking Oliver now that we have made Seward our new home. Thank you everyone at The Alps Dog Park for making our experience so wonderful! And thank you Tarryn for being his adventure guide for the afternoon whatever you did he slept on the couch the rest of the day. And thank you Paige for making Oliver such a cute little guy. We can't wait to see all of you again!
