From what I read, Mango loves the sitter! It's impressive to me because Mango is a very shy cat and very hesitant to go near strangers, especially anyone who is loud. My sitter, Lisa, must be sweet and soft-spoken for Mango to love her. I feel guilty about leaving Mango when I'm gone, but I'm put at ease by using a sitter. I don't have much experience with hiring pet sitters, but I don't think I could ask for a better one right now. She even sent me a handwritten thank you note for the tip I left her. The reason I only gave this 3 stars is the price. They charge $36 a day PER DOG!! The last kennel we used gave a discount for a 2nd dog in the same family and I wish they would consider something like that. We dropped them off on a Thursday morning, had our daughter pick them up on Sunday at noon because they charge by the hour, and our bill was $259. The motel was given an hour heads-up upon my parents returning to pick up the dogs, to find their legs covered in door feces and soaked in urine. You couldn't even bother to help clean them up even once while they were there??? Their legs were matted with feces!! My parents gave contact information should there be any problems during the dog's stay, but they were never contacted. Upon pickup, the staff said they did great while there. My parents were in shock and rushed the dogs home to bathe immediately and feed as they hardly ate during their stay. My parents had to take the 15 year old, otherwise generally healthy, shitzu to the vet asap the next day as he was very lethargic and almost did not recover from the week's stay at Trude's. Maybe if your dog is large and spends a fair amount of time outdoors normally might you have a decent experience. You would think with a veterinarian on site that they would take more pride in their services. BE WARNED! DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE IF YOU LOVE THEM!!! If I could give negative stars, I would.

I have never experienced this strong smell at the vets or the groomers. Perhaps better ventilation would help. Or more thorough cleanings? I'm not sure I do not know what they do to keep the place sanitary but it's not working. Upon arrival with our puppy and two kiddos, we were told right away that because we had children with us he could not play in a room with other dogs for liability reasons. This makes sense but we were not aware of this rule and honestly it defeats the purpose for us. We want him to have interaction with other dogs, but also to be able to be available to play and protect him. In fact, they recommend that children do not come at all. If you do venture here, I suggest bringing your own toys and possibly a bowl or some kind of way to give your pup a drink. They provide bags for picking up poop. There were a couple of balls in the room, but they were wet and disgusting. The staff we met were very kind, and I hate to leave a review like this, but we will not be back. They do offer babysitting and grooming and have self grooming stations. Tucked right off of O street near the Asian Community Center. You also must provide vaccination records before playing. The vet was able to fax it over right away for us.

They always comment on my dogs. My last visit, I added a shampoo and brush out. They added an extra 5 dollar charge on my Aussi-corgi (Auggie). The groomer said she was heavily matted! I did bit know my dog was matted, because she looked fine! She explained that double coated dogs coats can "lay down" on the skin and create a layer of fur. This dog has had heat stroke issues for a few years now. After this grooming, and the removal of all the undercoat, she is cooling off properly! The groomer knows her stuff! Thank you! The boarding rates are the best in town. But with all the add one such as day play and walks, they are the same rates as everyone. Fair enough! My dogs love this place, and so do I.

We travel 45 minutes to kennel the dogs but it the inly place we trust. We love that they have indoor and out door living spaces and play time and we can even bring the dogs personal bed and toys. We also like that they keep the three dogs together. They always have or make room for our dogs so very reliable especially when we call at the last minute.

Have used grooming service twice before and was very happy with the results. So made an appointment online for Sept 27th. Got email saying "can't accept" reservation. Called and made appointment for 30th of Sept. I was told I would get a text confirmation. No text came. Called again to confirm for grooming appointment because it was next day. I was told it wasn't in the system but might be in the appointment book in a different building. Then i was told appointment was for the following week on Oct 7th. Had to reschedule and called to cancel - then got some "service" that wasn't even on site of the facilities. They didn't even see any appointment? Then I get a call back asking if I still wanted to cancel the appointment? I was told there must have been a "miscommunication" - like I was the one to blame for their ridiculous booking appointment so-called "service" Already have appointment with a different grooming provider. Very disappointed. My dog liked the groomer.
