My husband and I stopped here on a Saturday afternoon. This place is great and has tons of options for families, couples, or kids. Mini Golf: You have two paths you can choose. Dreamland vs Adventure. My husband and I went with the adventure course. This course allows you to choose between easy (red), intermediate (green), and pro (black). Once at the hole, you pick your own adventure by hitting towards the appropriate flag color. The course had tons of random piece of artwork and was quite entertaining despite it being hot af outside on a Saturday afternoon. Other play options include disc golf, pickle ball, and splash pad for kids. They have calendar events and tonight was their full moon fest. They have an area where a band can play and an astro turf lawn. Lastly is the booze situation. They have a full bar. They also have an area where you can pour your own beer, cider, or wine and pay per ounce. Note while playing mini golf they have a few refill stations for drinks.

THE BIG: Family-fun activities that range from mini golf, pickle ball, bocce and more. Right off of 290 and you can't miss the artistic silos poking up from the acreage. THE BLACK AND WHITE: The bae and I came here for a Dripping Springs day. We first started off at Dreamland since they were open the earliest (7am on a Saturday). It was raining but quickly cleared up and the property is super fun to just walk around. Art is placed everywhere from the mini golf course to the concert venue to the shaded food hall. The beer/wine were pour-it-yourself, meaning Dreamland gives you an RFID card, and you place the card over the tap to pour as much as you want. Great idea if you want to sample EVERYTHING! I swear you could spend the entire day here and not get tired. The bae and I played a round of mini golf (18 holes) and it took about 1.5 hrs to complete. The course is tough, well tough for us newbies, but also really fun! THE FINAL BAMBOO: Overall, $12 per person for mini golf and pour-yourself beer/wine experience was awesome! I'm definitely bringing a crew next time to spend some good quality Austin hill country fun.

Very fun miniature golf for the entire family!

My family and I were very pleased to hear about Dreamland because we lack fun family-centric activities that are outdoor in Dripping Springs and Bee Cave. We were very pleasantly surprised by how beautiful the grounds were with incredible sculptures and statues as well as massive American and Texas Flags. The landscaping is very nicely done and the golf greens are fantastic with an easy course that accommodates younger children and an advanced course for good golfers. My favorite aspect of Dreamland is the beer and wine taps with computerized screens that highlight the plethora of beer and wine options where guests can self serve their favorite flavors! What a cool and unique idea! We tried all sorts of beers! We also really enjoyed the live music which could be heard throughout the miniature golf area which made it very fun! Our children also really enjoyed the play structure! Dreamland is a fun spot for adults and children and you can spend an hour and play 18 holes or stay for a few hours and enjoy the amenities!

Lots of seating all over, including throughout the mini golf course

What a beautiful property this is! I enjoyed the two 18-hole minigolf courses. The Dream course is the easier one, although I still found it hard enough. The Challenge course was even more fun, and also harder...but by the time we got to the challenge course we had given up all pretense of keeping score anyway! There are some really interesting features, and the challenge course itself has three "levels" you can play (each round is actually three different holes that vary in difficulty and you're meant to pick and stick to one level of difficulty...i just picked whatever flag my ball landed closest to!) It's a perfect activity especially during the pandemic. The grounds are way bigger than the other mini golf courses I've been to, and there are interesting art features all over. I went at night and it was beautifully lit with the live oaks all aglow with purple, pink and blue lights. Also there was live music (you can enjoy while you golf or sit in the big outdoor audience area at the stage) and a very cool self-serve wine and beer (and cider) bar. The self-serve process: Open the tab, get the rfid card and then help yourself! It's charged by the ounce, so you can try a bunch, if you like. Or order their cocktail slushes from behind the manned bar because those sounded pretty great too.

This is such a fun outdoor entertainment venue!!! I have been multiple times and love the variety of activities you can try here. Besides mini golf, I tried pickleball for my very first time and had a blast! They offer all sorts of games to play and also have a PourMyBeer system to grab a delicious drink while you are having fun! The best part is that with this system, you can pay and pour by the ounce, so you don't have to get stuck with a glass of something you might not end up liking. Their beverage wall has 90 self-pour taps so there is a large selection of local craft beers to try, ciders, wines, cocktails, there is definitely something tasty to try for everyone! Dreamland is also a great spot for company gatherings or family celebrations. I have organized multiple work events here and the staff was always fantastic, so friendly, accommodating, and helpful! Will definitely be back for more soon!

Racist menu

What a great spot outside of Austin! Lots to do, perfect for families. Mini Golf course has several levels that fit any type of golfer, from the kiddos to the pros. Beer selection is impressive. Just one major gripe. The menu is labeled in the most inappropriate way, they have an "Immigrant Experience" menu that includes tacos and other regular items. Strangely, pizza wasn't listed under the "immigrant menu". Never seen anything as ignorant and dumb as that. Please change it, it's cringy.

Pricing was outrageous. Didn't even have time to do both courses and they weren't able to refund us for not doing the second course.

I found out that they moved their location recently into a space that actually is more theater-like inside. I've seen a production from TexArt before a few years back in their old location in a strip mall and the although that show was good, the seats in the old location was kinda uncomfortable. The current theater felt newer and also sold snacks to eat like chips, popcorn, soda, water, and various candies and treats. They didn't sell alcohol (probably bc they didn't have a liquor license) but had beer and wine that they can pour you a glass with a donation to the theater. Overall the experience was really good. The production set, choreography, acting, and flow of the whole show was well put together. I was afraid that I would fall asleep because we went to see the show right after dinner but it was very good and exciting throughout. The only thing that I didn't like about this new location is that it had limited parking so I would recommend to get there earlier. We showed up about 10 min before the show started and got one of the last parking spaces. The previous location was in a strip mall so there was plenty of parking!

AP relies on a cast of seasoned local talent, including the brilliant and talented Michael Stuart, to provide a broad variety of theatrical productions each season. For live theater, the prices are reasonable, with half-price student tickets and guest ticket discounts for season ticket holders. The one thing I really appreciate about this venue is (and I repeat myself) the intimacy of the seating and stage. The stage literally ends at the edge of the first row. The most distant seats are no more than twenty feet from the stage, making the production even more real and audience connected. You get the feeling you are literally part of the play; there is no significant degree of separation between the actors and the audience. The other thing that I love is that it's literally a working company. Don Toner himself will often call back to confirm seating reservations. If it's not Don, it's frequently one of the other cast members. When you have a special request, there is no "box-office" detachment. And, at the end of the play, Don's waiting at the door to shake your hand and welcomes your comments regarding the performance. If you'd asked me ten years ago if I would ever be caught dead watching five plays a year, my answer would have been an emphatic "no". Thanks to one of Don's Actor's Equity members, John Hoff, I got hooked. John's no longer connected with the group as he's living in Colorado, but I thank him for instilling the appreciation for this troup in me. P.S. One of their most acclaimed productions is "Dead Presidents' Club", which is showing for one more day (11/9/2008) at Evans Auditorium at Texas State University-San Marcos. If you have time to catch this production today, do so. If you miss, pray for a summer revival in 2009!

The staff was very friendly at the entrance, the bar, and when seating. The place is pretty big and has upstairs and downstairs seating as well as a bar on several levels. Two points that did bring the visit a little down. The seating, you are packed in like sardines. No room to stretch even a little, you bump against the stranger next to you or them into you. It is almost worse then an airplane. Two no handrails on several stairs which are also uneven. I have some ongoing spine and foot pain and it caused me issues but I saw several other people struggling and one almost falling themselves. Had it been just me or maybe one other person that would be bad enough but as several people struggled that is a huge safety issue and should be fixed. The ushers helped when they could but sometimes they were helping others and didn't see it happen. Still it was a fun time, if a bit cramped. The staff is great and I love the history but that also means it is very outdated and not very comfy to sit for an hour or more, especially with no intermission.

SHANA SAYS: I appreciate having Zach as a cultural resource. The facilities are great! Actors are great! One thing that could use some work is the bathrooms. Since intermission is only 20 mins, at least at this show, the bathrooms both had long slow lines. They had a men and women's restroom and there were about 4 urinals and 4 stalls. I made it back but just barely and there were people behind me and even more in the woman's restroom line. The positives outweigh the downsides and we have loved the few shows we have seen here. We do love theatre and love having this option and being members.
