It was a warm and sunny sunday afternoon in early November and I fancied a smoothie. There was one person working who had a flat affect, almost as though he'd had a frontal lobotomy. I ordered my smoothie and he robotically went to work preparing it. I'll post some pictures that I took. My usual go-to smoothie place at the end of Penny Lane was already closed for the season, so i decided to try here and ordered a Green Lover for $12. Nothing to complain about, yet nothing to rave about either. The smoothie from here served its purpose for my hydration and nutrition at a cost commensurate with a place on Rehoboth Avenue. Purchased two 16oz bubble teas for eleven dollars each. The boba tastes old, as if it has sat in the same tub for days. The boba is also not sweet like tapioca it's really bland. The taro tea was also not sweet at all. It tastes like milk and powder. The unmixed powder settles on the pearls and has a very unpleasant gritty feeling. We threw out the full one in the picture. The Mango smoothie was like an ice slushie and very sweet and overpriced. I wish there was yogurt to balance it out. They also do NOT serve Ube ice cream (that's advertised). TLDR; Trash products + customer service & false advertising I went here with my brother and ordered an expensive ($10 for a small size) Thai milk tea with boba. I quickly realized that it was NOT Thai milk tea, and that the establishment only offers one type of milk tea (the one they gave me) despite advertising several flavors. That didn't bother me as much as it should have, but the boba pearls were disgusting. They were obviously very overcooked and tasted nearly rancid. I went back to the cafe and asked the employee for a refund. He told me that only the manager could do this and that we could return in 2 hours and she would be there to refund us. I gave him the nearly untouched drink back and planned to return later. Return we did, but we were then told by the employee that his manager was actually on her way to Miami? The employee then stepped away to allegedly call/text her. When he came back, he told us that he could not give us a refund but could offer a different drink. At this point I had read other reviews and realized that their products are not what they say they are (and are much unhealthier than they claim), so I reiterated I just wanted a refund. The employee then asked literally at least 5 times if I wanted cash back, which I said "yes" to every time, only for him to say "I can't do that." It was strange. After a few minutes of this, I asked him to write me a note stating that the business had taken my drink back and refused to refund me, as I planned to dispute this with my bank. It was only at this point that he gave me the $10 I had spent on my card in cash. I'm glad I eventually got a refund, but this place literally scams their customers. We had breakfast here this morning, during the off season, and enjoyed it. The shake my fiancé got was solid. That was probably four stars. My açaí bowl was good, with fresh fruit and served frozen, although it would have been better with honey drizzled on it. I would say the açaí bowl was only three stars. I never give a one star but what we got was not good. My husband and I both got the classic Acai bowls with peanut butter. We were both very disappointed. The Açaí bowl should have been called a granola bowl. It had very little açaí and half the bowl was flavorless granola. The bananas, strawberries and $2 scoop of peanut were good but the granola was so overbearing. I should have read the reviews before going there but I like trying it out myself before anyones influence. It is also very pricey. read more

The cute store design and fun drink flavors seem like a nice treat after a day at the beach but this is truly one of the worst bubble tea places I've been too. I visited during the off season and had to wait almost twenty minutes to have my order taken when there was only person in front of me. I can't imagine what it would be like in a busy summer day. When I finally received my drinks, it was truly disappointing. The boba was mashed and clumped up together and one of the drinks wasn't even filled to the top. The boba lost its circular shape and was just blobs of tapioca. When I asked them to remake the drink, the server showed me their boba topping bowl and said all their boba had the same consistency so even if they remade the drink it would be the same. I then asked for a refund as I paid $12 for each drink, which is definitely overpriced even if you adjust for being on a beachfront location. The worker said no refunds are possible and the manager doesn't allow it. After another customer came and complained about the terrible taste of the boba, he finally relented and gave both of us our refunds. I really hope the management takes this feedback and invests in better ingredients as it seemed that the employees have informed management about these issues several times. read more

This place is cuuuuuute. I stopped by for a latte and lemonade. The lemonade was nothing special which was a bit of a let down but my drink was really good. I liked the tame bitterness of the espresso. The person in front of us ordered a açaí bowl that looked so good! The milk options were only whole/2% milk and almond milk for my drink. This place is aesthetically cute! From the decor of the shop to the design on the cups! We went to the location on the corner of the boardwalk but they have a physical walk in shop across the street. It's kind of a bit of a wait - there was only one person working when we were there. And then once we ordered our drinks - a strawberry lemonade with popping strawberry boba and a passion fruit with mango popping boba - we got one drink correct and the other we were given mango. It didn't taste bad but we didn't like it and also we didn't want to go back and exchange because it already took a while even though it wasn't busy. The strawberry lemonade one was delicious BUT it cost us $21 and the size of the drinks is the size of a tall drink from Starbucks so definitely not worth $20 for boba. read more

I was excited to try this place but I wish I had checked the reviews before hand. The prices are pretty outrageous for just about everything. I was pretty shocked to see a water was $7... I got an espresso/peanut butter/other things smoothie (Number 10). It was very okay. It didn't have much flavor and for sure wasn't worth the $12 I paid for it. I'm not sure why price things like they are these super intense health smoothies but it's just a couple ingredients and not great. My partner got a mango pineapple smoothie and it was basically undrinkable. It had very little flavor and it was like half blended I think. There were weird chunks of half frozen fruit in the bottom. I am a very big matcha enthusiast. That goes to say that as far as quality of where they source there matcha is very high grade. They source there matcha from Matchaful! Yet when I tried the matcha I didn't fall in love with it. I would like to take it in to account that the matcha I like is more earthy and this blend particularly is a lighter flavor. The staff was a bit confused as to what would be the proper course for helping me out with my drink. They did make me a new one and I got an iced almond milk latte. I would like to say that the quality of the coffee is again a high grade coffee. I feel as though I should mention that the shots are very strong so a TIP would be to get one less shot then calls for if you would like a more balanced iced latte. I asked for an americano and priced at $6, it's a little steep but I'm ok with that for a good quality beverage in a nice area. The coffee itself was actually pretty good (La Colombe) but it was clearly a drip coffee when I ordered and paid for an americano. When I asked the guy about it, he insisted it was an americano even though it was ready immediately (no time to make the espresso) and had no remnants of crema. I hope management will take the opportunity to provide proper training so that this issue (and those discussed in other reviews) can be addressed. I was super hot and needed hydration, so I opted for this juice spot. I ordered a mango concoction and was a bit surprised the cost was $9. I figured they'd use real fruit. I saw them put something in a Ninja to blend. Thinking back on it, it must have been juice from concentrate. Was it tasty and hydrating? YES!!! Was it worth $9 in goodness and fresh fruit nutrients? It couldn't have been considering it came from concentrate.
