It is a bliss to be here. I read Bradley's post today and I visited Dream Spa today around evening time; there's no wait. The exterior might not look very attractive, but inside looks fairly nice. The lady was very nice to me because I was politely asking them how their facility operates. The Asian lady was small but she is very professional and good at what she does. She speaks pretty good English so communication is not a problem. She had small hands, but unlike some avoiding using their hands, she put in all the effort with her fingers and elbows. It is a very pleasant experience. It is only $35 dollars for an hour of massage. It includes a free sauna, steam shower, or table bath. Since I just came back to the US, I still have my jetlag. I tipped $15 dollars because I felt refreshed afterwards, thanx to her dedicated work. read more

I'm giving 4 stars for the price ($35/hour) and the service. I noticed others said a $10 tip was forced upon them. I gave her $10 not knowing this so I'm not sure if she would've fought me had I not. If she did, I would've been annoyed. She asked what kind of pressure I wanted and I told her I liked it hard and it was perfect. I felt really relaxed after. My only complaint is that I heard the other ladies talking in the next room half the time. I guess it was their lunch hour, but it really killed the mood. Oh, another complaint... there was a worker sleeping on a bed right outside the restroom when I came out. Come on, at least find a room to hide in. So yea... Never have I been more disappointed and angry about a place before....the lady that gave me a massage did not even give a 'massage' until I told her to apply more pressure. She rubbed oil onto my back for a good 15-20 min. with no pressure at all. When she finally applied pressure to my massage, she kept running the pressure along my bones...And she ran her elbow down along my spine multiple times. Let's just say she did not know her anatomy and I don't even think she was a certified masseuse. I did not receive a foot massage during my time there. I paid for the 90 min ($60) massage. After the massage she went out to get a hot towel to wipe the oil off my body but in the process of laying the hot towel on my back she burned me. When my time was up, I left with my boyfriend and he gave a $20 tip for both of us. The lady in the front gave us the 'Is this all you're giving us for 2 people for a 90 minute massage??" face....and we were confused. Like what was wrong with $20 for both of us when I received a shitty massage!! I went on and asked her what she meant and she said she wanted more tip than that because they went overtime for us since we asked for the 90 min massage....WHO DOES THAT??? Do people realize that TIPS is not a mandatory thing?? We already paid for the service you provided... In the end my boyfriend gave them another $20 just to get it over with....they did not deserve a single penny....I will NEVER return to this place ever again....I came out feeling more pain in my back than I did when I went in... read more

I was desperate to find place that takes walk-ins after having stiffness and pain in my neck for several days. So I decided to give this place a try. I went on a Saturday around 11am with no wait. When I was shown to the room, I was given no instructions - the woman just walked me in and walked out. With other places there's usually a sheet to put over you, but here I was left with an old scratchy towel. Okay then! The massage was fine. The woman was nice and did a good job. I would say what a bargain this place is - $35 for an hour (unheard of!), however, as I paid the woman and gave her the tip, she made a face and said, "Tipping is minimum $10." I said, "I gave you twenty percent. Twenty percent of $35 is $7." To which she replied, "It's hard work. It's not like a restaurant." WOW. I could not believe she was serious and reluctantly gave her the extra $3 for her "minimum" tip. Forcing your customer to tip 29% is sneaky and ridiculous! It completely defeats the point of tipping. If there is a minimum, it should be clearly mentioned in advance. This is HORRIBLE customer service and I will not be returning. read more

OK, so I've been wanting to see what the big deal is about table showers. Called and made an appointment for 3:00, figuring mid afternoon would be kind of slow and quiet. Thanks to our fabulous LA traffic, I was 20 minutes late. I walked in, and Eva was waiting in the lobby for me. She showed me to the room, which I LOVED, cuz it had a real door, not a curtain. So... The Massage was OK, not rushed, but... I guess you get what you pay for, right? Anyway, I get my table shower after the massage, and she kind of just rushed thru it. Totally not what I was expecting. Overall, I guess it was a good idea to get the Massage... $40 for an hour massage and free table shower. Check another one off my list and keep looking for my "go to" place. read more

However... we show up and they couldnt even comunicate to us that they dont do pedicures!! They called us back to try and solve the dilemna, but too late. From the moment that you walk in until you leave the staff is more than friendly and truly cares about your well-being when they massage you triggering Accu-Pressure points that I didn't even know existed!!! Being an athlete that works out 6-7 days a week, getting a massage that goes beyond just feeling good and entering the healing and therapeutic zones is essential and each of the very experienced staff accomplishes this beyond what I would have hoped!!! I would normally give a place like this 5 stars, what with the great prices and all... However I have been here about 6 or 7 times and it was great with the original lady but my last 2 sessions where with the new short haired lady... The massage was just so-so both times so I tipped accordingly (5 bucks) which is half of what I usually tip because the message was not so great. The short haired lady (who does not speak english very well) actually told me I had to tip minimum of 10 dollars! ((((WOW REALLY)))) REALLY? In the united States it is OPTIONAL to tip, in other words it's voluntary and at the conSumers discretion wether or not to tip at all!!! Came to this place... the lady who massaged me was super nice and efficient. The facility however is sort of sketch. Parking is bad, the room is like bright and feels super awkward, the woman outside kept walking up and down the hallway. I could hear her the entire time (annoying). She also decided to have a conversation on speakerphone outside my door. REALLY?!!!!! So needless to say I won't be returning. But like I said nice therapist. They fight for a $10 tip for $35/hr masaage. Massage was mediocre and I was skeptical about their cleanliness. I didnt feel like the experience deserved a 29% tip. There is no clear indication of minimum tip requirement posted anywhere in the spa. I was running late for a reservation so I just paid and left but will not recommend this place. read more
