Also done basic maintenance repairs that are so helpful being that we leave our trailer at Collins Lake in storage. This past weekend we had a pipe break. He came within the hour and was able to fix it, saved our trip! We have also had numerous friends rent from him and have had a wonderful time! We definitely recommend renting from him if you do not have a rig but want to go camping! It turned out exactly as we had planned and actually a little better than what we had hoped for. We knew it would be good based on other vans seen at the shop and what we had discussed in the planning phase but the attention to detail was over the top. Over the months of waiting/building, Scenic shared a Dropbox where they would load pictures as the build was being done. It was fun to see all the steps of our van being built and it helped us to know where we were in the timeline of the build. On pick up day, Emily took the time needed to walk us through the van to make sure we were comfortable with every part. Even with all of that, Scenic still sent us away with a folder of papers and an owners manual they had put together with the features of our specific van build and how to use each component. I'm convinced, there isn't another company that puts this much love and care into the customer and end product. Kevin, Emily and every team member we interacted with are specialist with a ton of experience as well as the desire to continue to grow and get better. it is obvious that the company strives for excellence and it shows in the end product. They went out of their way to explain any changes that needed to be made along the way and always made sure we didn't incur any extra cost because of a necessary change. We took the van out for the first time last weekend. Just an overnighter where we pulled out all the manuals to make sure everything worked and we understood the system. The service is excellent and the price is more than fair. You meet at the Incline Beach which is private but Katrina and her team can get you access at $15 per head but the total price still is better than the competition and recommended to pay the beach access. The tubing was a blast (actually an inflatable mat) but the wake board was difficult since the hardware was damaged.

They each gave a demonstration and took us out on the boat until we were comfortable driving it. They provide live vests and two ropes and tubing for the children. Moises was outstanding to work with. I explained what I had and what I needed and he said no problem let me give you a quote. Quote was great so we scheduled the work. He called to confirm Friday about what time I would be arriving on Monday. After dropping it off he confirmed when it would be ready. The next afternoon it was done; ahead of schedule and on budget. Got up there to pick it up and the installation was perfect and the interior was clean and everything was in its place. El Monte, Cruise America, small local renters, and private parties thru Outdoorsy. Our experience with A Family Affair has by far been the best ever! Moses and his wife run a genuine mom and pop shop and have a great passion for their clients. They not only made the rental experience quick and easy, they were a joy to work with. We rented their almost new 2024 Entegra Odyssey 30Z class C. As a new rig, there were a few minor issues that came up. Moses was super helpful and got back to me via phone to help me thru the problems we did have. He was also nice enough to let me park my car in his yard while we were gone, and made the return check in process super easy. I wish I had discovered A Family Affair years ago. I will definitely rent from them again, and highly recommend them!

I was surprised at how expensive it was for just doing a dry spot, the total came out to just over $300 for 3 nights which felt like more than we usually spend. We stayed at 8 Fox Run Rd which was also labeled as D7 which made it a bit confusing to find. Our spot was big enough for us plus our friends who also have a truck camper. We enjoyed being near the dog park so our dogs could run around there off leash. This site is further away from most of the other RVs and didn't have neighbors close by. We were close to many pine trees instead which we loved! There's a bathroom pretty close to this site which was kept clean all weekend and even has free showers; all were things we appreciated since our campers don't have full bathrooms. They are doing a ton of construction on the main highway right next to the campsite but it was still surprisingly quiet for our three nights, we did not wake up at night due to the noise or feel bothered by it during the day. The star gazing here is prime, they have nice fire pits, and a lot of great activities for kids (game room, swimming pool, mini golf, horseshoes, playground, basketball, etc). We enjoyed our stay here and would probably come back again despite the price because it felt worth it!
