He suggested we check out Indian Falls, which was down the road and has great swimming and hiking!

It's a hidden gem, compared to more popular, overcrowded nature areas. Mike and Brandi were super responsive and helpful via text and in person. It truly is a family business so always happy to support that. We stayed at one of the two campsites and it seems like, at least when we were there, the rest of the RV park folks there were mostly chill, quiet seniors. We helped ourselves to free hot showers (!!!!) and had the sparkling clean restrooms pretty much to ourselves the entire weekend. Nice hiking trail on their property, games and activities available if you choose. We chose to SUP, check out all the pretty lakes in the area. Highly recommend this campground, will visit again.

What a beautiful spot. It felt like the 3 couples we had, had the entire park to ourselves. Clean…read morerestrooms, super funny signs that will make you want to potty in every stall. Only complaint is Dale and the boys working on their trucks ALL NIGHT LONG. I don't know what they were on but it rhymes with Shmeth. People actually live on the SE side of the campground so unless you're in to tweakers banging on things all night, don't stay on that side of the campground. Super loud metal on metal and welding and grinding. I didn't plan on staying at an auto shop but here we are. So we have to be quiet after 10 but they can rage all night? No thanks I do appreciate the care that the owners have put in to this spot, again, super clean and very well maintained. Location is great for golf, local restaurants etc. I'd stay here again but Dale and the boys better put their tools away. Other than that, super great experience

We recently stayed the weekend at Feather River RV Park and had a blast! Sara and family greeted…read moreus at check-in, gave us the park guidelines and a map to our spot, and we were on our way to fun! We read reviews of other campgrounds, and unwelcoming hosts...we're happy we chose Feather River RV Park! The pride of new ownership really shows, these folks are happy you're a guest, and make you feel welcome! This campground offers TONS of family friendly amenities, like a playground, heated pool, onsite laundry room, showers, small general store, game room, and standards like volleyball, horseshoes and tether ball. We camp in a trailer, and sites offered full RV hookups for a very comparable rate. They offer tent sites and rent charming little cabins too! Together with the amenities, this represents a lot of value for families camping with kids! We played games, swam, rode bikes, explored Graeagle and nearby Lake Davis, toasted marshies...yep, privately owned campground still allows campfires! The only -1 star is for the very close proximity to other campsites, and while we didn't know upon booking that a large number of sites are occupied by year-round campsite tenants...we got a less-than-friendly "greeting" from a neighbor that obviously didn't appreciate new campers with kids or music, or another vehicle, even though we were abiding by park rules on vehicle parking and low music volume. The resident campers seemed cliquey, but we didn't let Grumpy Gus ruin our time, and neither should you! We've decided that when it comes to kids & camping, there's direct correlation between how much fun they're having, and how dirty they get. We call it the "Dirty/Fun Matrix" Well, my kids were covered in dirt (did I mention showers onsite?), never once asked for TV or tablets, there were lots of kids in the campground to play with, and we all had a blast! Come and enjoy this family-owned campground & RV park, let the kids get dirty, and make some memories!

When we came, we were confused where the office was and saw that the laundry room was closed, which…read moreI suspect is the same building as the office, when we called the number, two guys did come within 5 minutes to show us the cabin that we rented. We were in Cabin #2. They told us that the cabins were exactly the same. The first thing that was weird is they took the key to the padlock that was on the door that didn't close snug. We asked for the key, but they said nothing has ever been stolen since they've worked their. We didn't want to take any chances, so we bought our own padlock and locked it when we were away. At first glance the cabin looked clean, but after we un-packed we saw dust bunnies and cobwebs all over. In fact, one was over the bed ready to land on my head. The weather was a little cold at night and there was no heater in our cabin, however, when we were packing up, I went to look in the other cabin #1, and there was a heater and the door closed snug. In addition, the bathroom had cobwebs and dust bunnies as well, but I was happy that it was open 24/7. All and all, we would rate it a 4 out of 10. I suggest that you have your staff clean the facilities on a regular basis, especially before someone stays in the cabins. Thanks!

The bathroom and showers are really nice. A short downhill hike takes you to a beautiful swimming hole along the Yuba River. Two adorable tent spots overlook the river. In late June, the temps were warm but comfortable during the day, and cooler in the evening and morning. The spaces are pretty close together, which was perfectly fine with our courteous neighbors. Your driving and reversing skills need to be strong, there is not a lot of room for error with some of the tighter spaces. They have a nice area as the designated dog potty place, dogs are expected to stay on leash and behave appropriately. We didn't have any problems and there isn't a big list of overly strict rules, but we did feel that the camp hosts would be helpful and put a quick stop to any misbehavior in the park. Across the road from the park is the Sierra Country Store where you'll find basic grocery items and an amazing deli counter with sandwiches, burgers, and milkshakes. We heard great things about the nearby Red Moose Cafe from our hosts and several neighbors, but we didn't make it in this trip. We'll definitely stay again and look forward to exploring more!

The landscape is picturesque but specifically the RV park is well maintained, clean, and modern. We enjoyed our early Autumn vacation and my baby had so much fun exploring, she even found little tadpoles in a very shallow part of the pool I can't wait to return in Spring with the new budding greenery
