OK this is the best comic shop in the Valley. First off these people know how to run a business. They go out of their way to make sure you find what you need and if they don't have it, they will find it. It's good to see people who still take so much pride in customer service. They are so friendly also, I feel bad I don't know their names, I'm bad with names, but they know me by name and I don't go in that much, which is only due to me not living very close to them. They have a great selection of current books, and back issues, and everyone who works there is really helpful. I cannot recommend this place enough to anyone. It's also great to see a family run place that makes you feel like your part of it when your in their store. It made me so happy to see that they had their daughter dusting shelves only to find out that she had to do that because she was in trouble. It's hard to find people who instill hard work in their children anymore, and it just adds to them having a great shop with a small family feeling to it. If I loved closer to this place it would be the only place I would need to go to. read more

The absolutely best comic book store I've ever been to. They have great stock, a lot of their books come with boards and bags. Well organized, great discounts and the staff is friendly. Love the owner and his family, they're friendly and remember people even though they're super busy. They have a big Free Comic Book Day event every May. Locally owned and operated, support the little guys! read more

This place is great. Great customer service and always do their best get the books you want. Ken is great! I'm never disappointed when I stop by every week. The customer service alone is worth the five stars. By the third time I went there they already knew me by name. The selection is fantastic. The store has moved into a new space that opens it up and allows you to move more freely. They have hundreds of comics and dozens of toys. They offer a 10 percent discount for students and military personal. Ken knows more about comics then any human should. I've recommended this to my friends and they fell in love with it too. I've been to several comic book stores and this is the best. read more

Love this place! They are all about helping their community AND comics of course! You can't help but to like the creativity, as this is not your normal comic book store. Ken and his family are great! This place is worth the trip even if you don't live in Glendale. read more

Drawn to Comics is the best Comic store i have ever frequented. i was once a Box holder at Atomic Comics, however after 2 deployments in the Marine Corps, they had over 20 comics missing from my collection and an additional 25 of issues i had never requested. The folks down at Drawn to comics CORRECTED the mistakes of atomic comics AT COVER PRICE! they are a Veteran Friendly Company and i am always greeted by name whenever i visit. No matter how obscure the request i put in, they ALWAYS find what i am looking for. i think it is safe to say that if i were to leave the AZ area, that i would pay them to ship my comics to me, because they will be right every time, no question. if you love comics, no matter how obscure (tank girl, haunt, ect) they have it, or they will bend over backwards to get them for you. to include toys aswell. i am very happy to call Drawn to Comics MY COMIC SHOP! read more

I am not a regular collector. I do not make major purchases nor do I buy often. When I do, I go to Drawn to Comics. Ken, the owner, always make me feel VIP. I can tell what I might be looking for and he gets it into my hands. Great shop. read more

Fantastic comic book shop. All the employees are incredibly knowledgeable and the owners are just genuinely nice and caring people. The shop itself is also great, organized and very clean. They have a huge selection of current issues and back issues and anything they don't have they will personally order for you and offer a discount on it for you. Great place and my favorite comic shop by far. read more

They are very organized with lots to see and consider in comics and collectibles. Staff is friendly.

I havent touched a comic book in about 15 years. I've recently decided to get back into it and I cant say enough about Drawn to Comics in downtown Glendale. I think I've been to every comic book shop in Phoenix and the surrounding areas and Drawn to Comics is hands down the best comic book shop in town. Ken and his Wife are incredibly nice people, willing to help in anyway they can. Ken truly has a passion for the comic book world and is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to anything comics. I find myself stopping in multiple times a week and anytime I find myself in the area. They have a large back issue selection and the back issues are in pretty fantastic condition for the most part. Their back issue prices are competitive and a lot of the times lower than All About Books and Comics on Central. If your looking for anything comic book related, do yourself a favor and stop by Drawn to Comics in downtown Glendale. Update: July 06, 2012 Just a brief update on the current shape of Drawn to Comics. Its fantastic. I wish Yelp would let me add additional stars. Ken and Susan are such fantastic people and with a such a friendly and knowledgeable staff you could find yourself in the shop for hours on end. when you just happened in to pick up your weekly/biweekly/monthly comic book or action figures. Be forewarned before stepping into this amazing shop. You might experience the following symptoms: Extreme Joy, Jubilation, Amazement, Comfort, Fleeting Wallet Syndrome, and last but not least, Happy Tears. Ken, Susan, Daniel, Jason, Chris, Carlos thank you for being such a wonderful group of people that are genuinely excited about the comic book world and not in it for greedy ambition. read more

Best comic book store. I have never met an owner of a business as passionate and knowledgeable about their products. If you look up customer service in the dictionary it should say Ken Brown next to it. read more

Great place! They really helped me out in getting a birthday present for my younger brother. He has been wanting "Emperor Doom" for ages now, and they helped me order it so he could have it. The best comic store in AZ. Great selection and the staff are very nice and knowledgeable.

I'm a "recent" comic book collector. I've only been collecting for about 3.5 years, but I'm glad my first choice was Drawn to comics. My nephew loves TMNT and he heard from his middle class schoolmates that Donatello had died in comics that week. He wanted to know all about it and me, being the awesome uncle I am, went to the first LCS i could find. He might not remember this, but Robert (the comic book guru) told me to not pay $100 for the comic and to just wait until the second printing because it was sold out (he explained to me what all that meant). Two weeks later, i went back to the store because i love TWD show and wanted to catch up on the comics. Robert (again) pointed me to the tpbs and I bought the first three volumes to read... i went back three hours later to buy another five. I always liked comics but didn't buy any because it was "nerdy", but this store made me feel proud about what I liked. I've shopped around ever since, I still buy somewhere else from time to time when I'm driving around the city, but my pull list is with Drawn to comics and I don't plan on moving anywhere else read more

They say business is about people, well this place is the quite welcoming. Their staff are crazy friendly and even seem genuine, who knows that could be part of their secret identity cover :) This is the Holy Grail of Comics! Apart from the massive collection of current comics and back issues, the owners sell shirts and merchandise, posters. Now the icing on the cake is the local artists drawings of characters on the walls, which are sold at a reasonable price. Might possibly be the overall best comic shop in Phoenix! "Asgardian out, cough cough For Midgard!" read more

Even if they don't have what you want they will find it. Really friendly, great perseverance skills with all employees.

Hands down, there is no better comic book shop out there than Drawn To Comics. The owner and his staff are knowledgeable and very friendly. As soon as you walk into the store, you will be greeted with a smile and a handshake. The knowledgeable staff will be willing to help you find any comic, toy, graphic novel, or apparel you may be looking for. Did I mention discount? Well if you are in the military, a student, or a teacher you can expect 10% off your purchase of non consignment items. The store also supports local artists and creators! I could go on for days, but the only real way to prove that this store is the best is to check it out yourself! read more

The staff here is extremely helpful and most importantly knowledgeable. The prices are good and if they don't carry something - they can usually order it. My girls have recently shown an interest in comic books and the staff here has always been great with them. We have placed special orders and have received them in a timely manner. Their selection of art work by artist is great. I love coming here and bringing my kids. read more
