Friendly bartenders, cool vibe, great drinks. Pretty much everything you'd look for in a bar.
Dram & Draught very nice. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and perfect for a date night or meeting up with friends. The staff was friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do. The cocktail selection is excellent, with a great variety of whiskey and bourbon options, and everything was made perfectly. Overall, it was a fantastic experience with great service, and an upscale yet comfortable ambiance. The specials they have for Bourbon on Wednesday is really good for my liken! Seems they have everyday specials as well.
Closing out the night and where else The Old Bailey by the old J.R. Reynolds factory. Fantastic bar with a wide variety of spirits. Staff were eager to please and continually checked in on us after delivering our drinks. Indoor and outdoor seating and the weather was absolutely perfect for outdoor seating. The area clearly was revitalized and attractive to those looking for suburban upscale living. Winston Salem on a Thursday means restaurants closing around 9lm with bars/pubs close about 11pm.
Love this bar. Great variety of liquors (including local) and a large cocktail menu. This feels like a "grown up bar" both in vibe and price - oh and they must know it bc the music sees VERY early 2000s every time I there. Highly recommend.
We are back for after dinner drinks at Dram and Draught. This place never disappoints! This place has some very creative cocktails for all tastes. You can sit at the bar, at a table, or o some nice lounge chairs. Our server was very courteous and our drinks arrived quickly.
A go-to bar is essential for the perfect date night! Starting your night with a drink and conversation in the perfect ambiance is important. Dram and Draught gives a calm and warm aesthetic giving speak easy vibes. It's so easy to have conversations even with people you don't know. They now have added waitresses to work the floor so that makes service faster.
Love this place, also have some serious cocktails. If you're looking for proper cocktails this is your place. Stuff is always friendly, and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is very chill.
I don't know where to begin! I stumbled upon this bar as I was exploring Winston and what a treat it turned out to be! Dre, the new GM, made me feel so welcome and taken care of! He really knows his stuff! We talked about some of my drink preferences and he made two of the best tasting drinks I've had in a while. He made a tequila and tonic as well as a gin and tonic. Sounds simple but there truly is an art to it and you can tell the use quality ingredients. The bar gives me very elegant vibes where I'd love to get cute and just hang out. He shared that their busy days are Friday and Saturday nights but they're looking to start events to give more daytime and weekday fun options.
Really great space and nice set up. I decided to venture out and try a mixed drink that sounded good. I wish I would have stuck with a straight whiskey as I didn't love the drink. Props to them for unique options. My banana runt didn't really taste banana runt. My wife did enjoy her drink. I noticed some great bourbon bottles like a Blantons and Heaven Hill 18 years. Drinks seemed to land around $15 each. The service was nice and fast.
Stepped into Dram & Draught for the first time and I'm already planning my next visit. The ambience is everything I love in a bar--dim, cozy, and intimate. It's the perfect spot for a laid-back evening or date night. I went on a Thursday night and the service was genuinely impressive. The staff checked in multiple times throughout the night, always friendly and attentive without being overbearing. One of the coolest things? They let us have food delivered from next door at Cugino, which was such a nice touch and made the experience even better. Now for the drinks!! It was amazing to say the least. Thoughtfully crafted and seriously delicious. Whether you're a cocktail person or prefer something neat, this place delivers. Highly recommend. I'll definitely be back!
First time going here not for an event. The service was attentive. However, the attention definitely faded over time. We were not offered a second drink but may have stayed for another if so. Ended up going somewhere else as a result. The vibe is nice with maintaining some historical accuracy to the space that I did not notice during the event I attended.
I came here on Wednesday around 8:15 with my son to get a drink out. I have been wanting to try it for a while so when he suggested going out for drinks I was at the car before the word came out of his mouth. The location is great, except for parking, but you can find it either on the street or garages around. We walked into an empty place which kind of shocked me because the inside was really nice looking. From the look of the bottle above the very large bar, they would have everything you would want. The menu given to us by the bartender looked very interesting and I wanted to give myself a few moments to look over the choices so I ordered a Boilermaker at $6.00. Good cost and they used a decent bourbon. Next, I decided to step out a bit and got a Blackberry Smoke (Los Siete Mezcal, Montenegro, Ancho Reyes, Orgeat, Salted Blackberry Agave, Lime, Heat Tincture) per the menu. So I love smokey flavors and this was over the top delicious and complex. My son tried it and said he would definitely get that the next time he was here. Come in and enjoy, it was worth the wait to me.
Chill spot, perfect for kicking back with friends or family. The decor's really cool, and the seating area is comfy and ideal for hanging out while sipping some awesome drinks. They've got loads of options on the menu, like the Honey Hum, which I was curious about but didn't try. My son went for the Lofty Velvet, and I had a taste--definitely something different! As for me, I kept it simple with a nice cold beer this time around. All in all, it's a great place to relax, especially if you're out late.
This place is such a class act. The bartenders are knowledgeable and friendly. They have every liquor possible. You will definitely find what you are looking for here. The bathrooms were clean and modern. The bar seating is comfortable and I love the places to hold your purses. I love this place. It is a really good place to chill with your friends. read more
We visited on a Friday evening and traffic was very light. We walked right up to the bar and sat down, service was attended right away. Offered things on the menu as well as the special menu. The QR code offers extra items to order. The bartenders took very great care of us, the drinks were wonderful. We got the whiskey flights and they were made perfect. Well done again. I haven't been to a Dram and Draught that I didn't love. This new space in Winston Salem is super spacious!! Lots of bar seating!! And the cocktails!!! Stopped by for drinks with a friend while in town for the week. This is a really nice establishment located in the heart of downtown. Enjoyed the drinks and the space. Here are my takeaways: Environment Located in the heart of Innovation Quarter this space is huge. Great for large parties or if you just want to catch up with friends or a partner. It has a modern vibe, low lit casual and laid back quality to it. The space has an industrial feel to it - high ceilings, a section with a sofa and chairs in the back for a more lounge feel and a huge bar with plenty of seating. Service The bar staff was amazing and made sure we had everything we needed. They were knowledgeable of the drinks and the menu and made great suggestions. They were also very welcoming. Drinks There are so many options to choose from and explore it can be overwhelming and it's also great to come back often to try many of their selections. Very impressive. The drinks we had were great and well prepared. I would definitely come back to explore their menu and try some of their creative cocktails. Overall Wonderful space for large parties or if you just want to stop by for a good to great drink. Really great chill vibe which I love. Will definitely be back for more. read more

I have been to the Greensboro location of Dram & Draught many times so when the new location opened in Winston I was very excited! This location has a more laid back casual vibe but still has the amazing cocktails! Since I live in Winston-Salem this will be the preferred location from now on. read more
I came here around 4:50pm on a Friday afternoon with co workers. It was hot outside and hot inside as well, in my opinion. It was fairly busy inside. We came in the back way and sat at the bar. I ordered Barbados Sunset for my drink. I think we were all just doing one drink. Little did we know, it was their grand opening. Around 5pm, they had a ribbon cutting and the Mayor of Winston was present. There was a small speech and mini photo oop. It was nice! My drink was ready when we went back inside. It was decent but not the best drink I've had. I wish it would've been sweeter. Here, they don't sell food but they do have pre packaged snacks, which I didn't get. Overall, it was nice! Average prices for cocktails. Good vibes and ambiance. The staff we encountered were friendly. read more

If you want a creative cocktail bar, this is a great option! I really love the ambiance in here! It is really cozy but also very roomy. I love the way they let all the bartenders curate the menu across all their locations and credit them on their creations on the menu. The choices are really fun and I believe the menu rotates - not sure how often. The staff is very kind and helpful in choosing a cocktail to suit what you're craving! Moving back to the triad I was not looking forward to leaving the cocktail scene but I was quickly surprised by the many options WS had to offer. When I found out D+D was opening a location downtown, I was excited to try. Their menu has tons of creative options leveraging a diverse set of spirits but I went for a mezcal drink which was smoky, citrusy, and extremely well balanced. We got three different cocktails to try and all of them were unique, balanced and flavorful. Dram and Draught is one of my new favorite spots in the area! I live near the GSO location and have never had a chance to check it out but was in Winston and stopped by for the grand opening with a friend. Wow! Amazing cocktails and beautiful atmosphere. The drink menu is huge with a section of specially crafted cocktails by bartenders at various locations. We started with the Birds and the Bees (part of the Classic menu section) and the Elvis Presley. YUM!!! The EP was like a dessert. We finished off by splitting a Hellfire Club and both agreed that this delicious drink is perhaps our new go to drink for the summer. I did not order a beer on this visit but was delighted to see such a wide array of options in this department, as well. The Winston location seems to be a lot more spacious than the GSO one, with a huge wrap around bar and other seating throughout the venue. The bar itself is located in a hopping part of WS, just steps away from popular restaurants and Incendiary Brewing, making it convenient and even more appealing. The Sunday spritz is still a delicious Mocktail! We held Bookclub here last night and the staff was so kind. We got a great spot in the corner and we never ran out of drinks. I love the vibes inside this bar even more than I remember. read more
It's so spacious! And clean. I was there on 4th of July so I can't speak to what the normal crowd looks like but there is plenty of space to accommodate large groups of people. They also have outdoor seating. The staff was great. I was greeting and given a menu as soon as I sat down. They have a pretty wide variety of drinks. There is something on the menu for everyone and if not I'm sure they could make it up for you. This summer I have been obsessed with espresso martinis and they have one on the menu so I had to get it. It's called the anchored martini. It was light in color compared to how they normally turn out so I was a little worried that I wouldn't like it but it was one of the best I have had. They do not have food, just options for pretzels or peanuts. Luckily there are a few food places near by, in walking distance. Overall Great service, great atmosphere. This will definitely be a spot that I'll frequent. read more

Dram and Draught is my go to bar of choice. They have such a large open space with lots of tables. Great for group outings! The bartenders are always so friendly and inviting. As a regular at the Raleigh and Greensboro locations through the years, I was excited to see Dram and Draught expand into our neck of the woods. I've really been enjoying cocktail bars lately and Winston is chock full of good ones. I love the atmosphere here! The vibes are spot on for Innovation quarter. Whether you're looking for a sexy date night or a casual drink after work, Dram and Draught is a great spot. Unfortunately, I didn't love the two drinks I ordered. The anchored martini was their spin on an espresso martini but there was just way too much foam for me. The pretty blue eyes drink was VERY strong and I didn't love that one either. I'll definitely be back I just want to try a different drink I think. read more
Brand new to the innovative quarter in downtown Winston, Dram and Draught , well known in Greensboro and Raleigh, has a spot in the midst of a lot of cool bars and restaurants. They are a bar only, no food. I went during their opening week, they were still doing some final touches aesthetically, but they have a full bar, lots of bourbon and whiskey. All the bells and whistles to make great cocktails. A fabulous selection of glasses, props to their glass buyer! Really great seating areas, high tops, bar area, couches, kinda private areas away from the bar, and they are adding sone patio too. The service we got was great, I recognized our bartender from another downtown bar, so struck up a conversation with him. He seemed happy transitioning to DD. All the staff were very approachable and helpful and our bartender was great to put up with all my little demands. They have 14 craft beers on tap, nice wine list, great sounding cocktails. I also love that their cocktail list shows you which glass your drink comes in, I wish every bar did this!! Drinks! couple of glasses of Prosecco, a mimosa, and my G&T, which I have to say was one of the best I've had in awhile. He was great about making my drink as pretty as possible, through me asking for limes, and rosemary and he added the juniper berries. It was the perfect drink. He also let me pick my glass! Enjoyed our Sunday afternoon there, I do wish they had some food, like charcuterie, always pairs well with drinks. I get that they are trying to be a bar primarily. Nice and high end, yet casual enough, but not a dive bar! I liked the vibe, decor,ambiance and great service. Will most definitely be back here on a downtown rotation. Gotta love a new bar. read more

Had a great time bar hopping last night with my peeps! Finally got to check out @dramanddraughtwinston Winston Salem location in the Bailey Power Plant to have a Drink named after @c0wabungadude called the Rolo Royale,as @vargmoder and I reminisced on memories we've shared with Rolo. R.I.P This bar is huge!!! And I'm in love!!! I'll definitely be coming back more often. Beautiful setup, sliding ladder to reach the top shelf liquors. Very spacious and cozy space near Bailey Park. They took care of us right away and provided us with a glass of water each. They had some beautiful flavors and combinations it took us a while to decide what we wanted to try. The drinks were beautiful, creative and the bartenders (thanks James!) were so kind and knowledgeable and took care of us. It was a bright space and not too dimly lit like a lot of the bars nearby and pet friendly. read more

Great location in the middle of Innovation Quarter. Very large space than accommodate large groups. The drink menu is sophisticated with a variety of options of flavors and spirits. The bar tenders are helpful in helping you decide between all the drinks. The drink menu changes seasonal which means there are always new options to try! read more
