I refused to pay for service not rendered so they put a lien on my home. I would never recommend this company for business.

Their prices were very good too (much cheaper than some others) and their customer service was top notch. In fact, we liked him so much that we then had him go over to my parents' house to fix some stuff there! The price was very fair, and we'll definitely use him again. Nick seemed very capable and charismatic to us when he did a few jobs for us. Then about 5 years…read moreago, we had him do extensive work on our plumbing system which cost us $15,000. He told us that we would have his personal guarantee to make sure everything is right. We had some trouble during the process at that time, but he did fix it. However, since last year, we noticed some leaks and issues and we tried to contact him many times. We called him several times, left messages, and sent text messages to both of his phones. We never heard back from him. We had to stop using the upstairs bathroom because of leaks through the floor when we shower there. Now we will have guests coming soon and we want to fix it. I called him again several days ago and left a message once again there was no answer and no call back. I wondered if he moved or stopped doing business. But when I did a search online, I found that people were leaving him reviews as recently as three weeks ago and that he was replying. So he was just ignoring us?? Also, the work he did in the past was a bit destructive. When he moved our washer and dryer connection from the garage to inside the house, he made the original pipe unusable. We only found out about this now because we wanted to convert the garage into a living space to have another washer dryer connection. As a result of the way the work was done, the conversion we hope to perform will be significantly more expensive. Perhaps there is a reason to damage an unused main pipe, though I can't think of one.

But I don't think we've ever had someone so patient, so friendly, so completely honest, so professional and remarkably diligent as Bryan from Hoffman Brothers! We weren't imagining a national heatwave this week when we scheduled the appointment. Undaunted, Bryan worked through the heat for hours upon hours, even right through dinner, and got the job done beautifully and expertly. He was truly amazing! And we would definitely call Hoffman Brothers for any additional electrical needs. I think we would actually make a special request that they send Bryan back again.

They installed our tankless water heater and a whole-house water purification system, and both jobs went well. Then they came out for one of the two annual HVAC check-ups included in the plan. Nothing was wrong with our attic unit. It had run fine all summer, even through a week-long delay on Hoffman's end getting a tech out for the visit. When he finally came, he recommended some repairs, assured us none were critical, and left. Less than 24 hours later, we woke to a massive leak that had destroyed half an upstairs ceiling. We called and they sent out another technician. The damage was on us, he said, for not approving repairs on the spot. What the first tech said or didn't say? "He said/she said," he told us. A manager would call, he promised. Five business days later: crickets. Hoffman Brothers' website promises to protect your "property, peace of mind, and comfort." We paid for that protection every month. When a leak hit within a day of their own service call, they protected themselves instead.
