This morning while showering we realized that we had a plumbing issue... the shower wasn't draining well and both toilets were gurgling (plus there was a sulfur smell). I had roots in my main sewer pipe and had a backup in my house. I was afraid I would end up having to have my sewer dug up and pipes replaced and be charged a fortune. I fought my blocked sewage line all Monday morning, renting a snake, and doing my best--without success--totally plugged up. Early that afternoon I called the Drain Mob -- and was told, by Leslie, in the nicest way that all their crew was booked becase of the havoc the heavy rains brought -- however, she'd see what they could do and would call me back in 10 minutes. How do I give 10 stars? Best money I have spent in years. AND, it will probably save me thousands in the future. We've had 3 different flooding events in the last 6 years at this house after storms. It is built on a hill. Jesse was supposed to come out, called me when he was five minutes out to let me know he would be here soon. Two minutes later he called me as his trailer had a flat. He was able to get Jacob re-routed to come work on our house. Jacob was great to work with. He jetted and camera'd all of of the downspouts and underground water drainage on our property. Basically built me a map. Cleared all the clogs and found lots of problems that I can fix in preparation for next winter. My tub and laundry sink started draining a little slowly this last Thursday, and I planned to call out a plumber next week. But then today, everything (and I mean everything) completely backed up. Toilets wouldn't flush, laundry sink wasn't draining at all, ickmo gunk started to bubble up from the bathtub. It was terrible. First, we called another plumber who did his best for us and snaked our drain 150 ft out and was at it for over 2 hours. But our stoppage was just too big to be cleared by a snake alone. So he recommended Drain Mob, saying that they had a huge, state-of-the-art hydrojet that would have definitely clear it out. I called and spoke with Leslie and she said Joey could be out today within a few hours. Two hours later, Joey called to say he was in front of our house. We'd actually gone over to my mom's house to use the bathroom lol, but he was totally cool about it. So ten minutes later, I'm back at my house, and Joey is already on the roof checking the roof vent. He lets me know that he'll see if they even need to jet it first (they have a bigger cable to snake with), and unfortunately the answer turned out to be a hell yes, we gotta use the jet. He's hard at work, I'm praying for it to work, and within the hour, it's clear, gloriously clear! According to Joey, we had one of the biggest paper stoppages he'd ever seen. The culprit was Charmin (which is apparently the worst) and Charmin wet wipes (which I'd stopped using after reading about fatbergs, but obvs didn't stop soon enough). He also made me promise to only use Scott or Angel Soft and get it TODAY, which I'm totally doing. I won't lie -- I'll miss my soft Charmin, the Bentley of toilet paper -- but if it means no more monster stoppages, I'll make the switch for the greater good. (We have old pipes, so maybe y'all lucky people with newer sewer systems can still indulge in Charmin.) But to sum it all up, I highly recommend Drain Mob! read more

After significant damage from a blocked A/C condensation drain in an older condo, I needed to check two existing drains to see if either one would work for the A/C. Joey came out promptly and discovered that the one which appeared to have been installed for the A/C unit was not a drain at all and was open to the downstairs ceiling. He checked the other drain and confirmed it was open, though had debris in it. He jetted that with my permission. He kept me informed, sent photos including one of the drain outlet at the street, etc. Very helpful, fast, and careful work. We were so impressed with the professionalism, teamwork, hard work, and efficiency of Drain Mob (what a great name) I called the Mob because the recent rains resulted in flooding on both sides of my property. Using both lo tech and hi tech tools, they diagnosed that two pipes, submerged under the ground, had deteriorated over time, so that water could no longer drain properly and instead, flooded the pool area. Their prices were reasonable, and they tested everything to make sure that their repairs were working. It is a relief to me that they persisted in their problem solving to get to the "root" cause. read more

Two different plumbers came referred through American Home Shield. Neither were able to clear the stoppage. Took ten days to get AHS to send the second. He suggested getting a handyman to go on roof. Drain Mob was referred by a different plumber and their website pictures two plumbers working from a roof. Took about 20 minutes and problem solved after waiting two weeks on AHS plumbers. And their $95 fee is only $20 more than AHS service fee. Wish I had known about them two weeks ago. They will be my first call in the future. read more

Just before leaving for work discovered my sewer line was backing up into my shower stalls. Called my plumber Jeff Green plumbing and he told me to call Drain Mob. Made the call and they responded in less than two hours. Jacob unclogged, jetted entire system. The jetting was my request not his since it's probably hasn't been done in 20 years and sewer line is 103 years old. He also put camera down so I could see condition of all the piping under house and all the way to the street. Drain Mob was very responsive and professional and would highly recommend them. Drain Mob does not up sell repairs just unclog drains which is unlike other plumbing companies I have used in past. One thing I found funny was Jacob asked me " do you use Charmin toilet paper ? " I told him yes, why ? Apparently Charmin puts clay in their TP which makes it very soft but also makes it more difficult to breakdown and more prone to create clogs ! read more
