Can't even see that work was done after they left. The concrete had to be broken and removed.

Had a leak in the hot water line located in the slab. First of all when Tim came in my house I could tell he was going to help me. Honest normal man with excellent knowledge about plumbing. Told me what needed to be done, gave me a quote that was excellent. Made the job seam easy and did everything and more to make sure it was done the way it needed to be. Hiring a contractor should be an easy job but I have to say Tim and the crew exceeded this. Friendly, honest we truly felt like we had a family member helping us not a hired contractor. Don't waste your time looking around call Drainmaster and get it done.

They often circle back without making progress and don't consistently honor agreed expectations around scope, timeline, or cost.

Tim called me back right away and was able to come out a day later and fixed the problem without a hitch!

In the beginning I was a bit skeptical of a $49 quote fee but the price was right and I did use them so they credited it to the bill. I'm having them come back out to replace the water heater soon. 10 out of 10 and 5 stars.

She's elderly so I'm helping her out and they the woman on the phone at the company was spectacular. The two guys that came over were not, they were high pressure salespeople. Gave her two costs over $1200 to fix it and over $3,500 for a replacement and they were doing the high pressure thing to her and she is on a fixed income and it's just s***** business in my opinion. I ended up going with another plumbing company getting a new a new water heater put in for under $1,500. Do not call this place. They will rip you off if you let them. don't. The furnace she had put in is only $650 at menards. Glad you replied Joe and are taking this seriously, but the damage has already been done. When your 2 folks were at her house diagnosing the problem, I spoke with them over the phone for a good 10 minutes. She told me afterwards she was so happy she had me to tell her to say "no thank you" because of the pressure and ridiculous prices your guys had put on her. They had an answer to everything (even to me) of why it is that expensive, like they have been through this exact practice, over and over and over. I don't really care for any more of your lip service, I will just never use your company again and tell my friends and family to avoid S and J Plumbing & Sewer 100% of the time. A cheap 40 gallon $650 water heater that takes 2-3 hours to put in should never be $3000. Shame shame trying to take advantage of the elderly on a fixed income.

An hour or so after he left, I ran the water in the vanity sink and there was a noticeable leak. He said he would come back a few days later to take a look. He returned and tightened the connections. I again ran the water after he left, and again there was dripping under the drain so I asked him back again. He came back again and did some more tightening and said it should be ok now. I again ran the water after he left and there was still a drip. I then texted him saying that I would like a refund of $350 of the $1100 he charged because the pipes were still leaking and he had already claimed twice that the problem was fixed when it wasn't. He refused and then tried to gaslight me saying actually there was no leaking. So if you want a plumber who doesn't stand by his work, then this is the guy for you (My response to his comments): For the record, here is the text exchange between Brad and Me (and yes I did say "please consider giving me a refund because I don't want to give you bad reviews"--and that is a reasonable response on my part given that I received service that is below what the average person would expect [i.e. 3 visits by the plumber and the sink trap is still dripping]. (From Craig): Brad, The vanity is still leaking and I can't devote any more time to this project, therefore I am requesting a partial refund of the money you charged me. I think a $350 refund would be reasonable. Craig (From Brad): I disagree, the last 2 times I came over there wasn't even a leak. I have gone beyond being reasonable and in reality I should be paid for 2 service calls. (From Craig): Many would ask for a larger if not full refund under these circumstances. Obviously there was a very noticeable leak after the first visit and a much smaller but still noticeable leak after the next 2 visits. Please reconsider because I don't want to give you bad reviews

Our home inspector and electrician both recommended Murphy Plumbing & Sewer so I called them for a quote. I spoke with Matt, who was very easy going and set up a free estimate. Dan came out and was very professional and friendly. He was informative about how our French drain/sump pump system worked. We got a verbal quote to install the new sump pump. After a little due diligence, I realized it was a very reasonable price so I gave the go ahead and scheduled an appointment. Matt came to do the job and was very courteous and professional. He helped fill out the warranty paper work and did the job fast and helped explain other features of our new house. He cautioned us that our hot water was at the age where we should look for signs that it needed to be replaced. He emphasized it still had some time left and I always appreciate how there was no pressure or upselling. It feels good knowing I have a reliable plumber and I highly recommend this small business.
