Great and professional service. I used Drain master plumbing to replace the drain pipes in my home and they did so efficiently and in a matter of 3 days. The pricing was reasonable for the amount of work completed. The team cleaned up everyday after completion and were very respectful of my home. I cannot tell you how great Al and his crew were. I just found out that I still had the original cast iron drain under my house even though most of the rest of house had been replumbed. Al came over and he and his crew worked so hard taking it out and replacing it. They were prompt, courteous, clean and really, really nice. I HIGHLY recommend them! read more

Pretty big job to replace main sewer line from the house to the street. Our regular plumber told us that he would not be able to do the job but recommended Mister Acosta and Drain Master. I can't say enough good things about this man, his company, his crew, the quality of the work, and the price. I recommend them highly! read more

Al and his crew are the best! The job was done to perfection. He is so easy to work with. He is punctual and works hard to get the job done right! Went way above and beyond! read more

What an awesome service, AL answers his phone and 100% polite. Very courteous and respectful of the property. The father, son duo came to my parents house late at night and completed clearing out the kitchen drain that another plumber couldn't unclog earlier in the day. Al removed the pipe and cleared it out. For good measures, he even snaked the remaining drain to the main. Oddly, he was recommended by the previous plumber and I am glad he did. Now I have a new professional I can rely on. Great guy you can call family. Thanks AL and Jr. If you want to see something gross, check out the pictures. Even though pictures do not do it justice, It's much grosser in person. read more

Wow - what service - we had two toilets at our church that overflowed into the office. I was referred to Al by another plumber that we have used in the past. Al answered right away and said he could be here within 30 minutes. He was right on time and quickly resolved the problem. He didn't want to take any payment for his time because it was such a quick fix. But.....I will pay him!!! Such a nice polite man as well as his assistants. I think I have a new plumber!! You will not be disappointed with his service !! read more

Such an amazing experience for my first time calling a plumber. He came right away! At first I was hesitant because I usually read reviews beforehand but I took a chance and it was a positive experience. I figured I would try a small local business and I am glad I did. We have to stick together during these times! thank you again for your service and efficiency! good luck with your business! read more

Al was fabulous! He answered my Yelp message late at night requesting emergency service (our one bathroom for family of four was blocked in the toilet and the shower/tub) and he called and planned to come the next day at 9am. He was affordable, fast, friendly, on time, clean (he wore slippers to cover his boots and didn't leave one bit of mess), he wore a mask (even outside), and he gave me a 30 day guarantee which I think was very gracious because he warned me the root problem we have going on will happen again. I'm very happy. I told my landlord and she may let me call on him for future problems which people make me happy! I highly recommend! read more

Al Acosta is the ultimate professional and very responsive! We have a dual sink in the bathroom that made gurgling sounds and very slow draining. Al's team diagnosed the issue by cutting into the drywall in the hall closet and removed the blockage. They installed a new clean-out, patched up the wall and thoroughly clean up the area. We were very impressed and pleased with the services. We're so happy with how reasonable the total cost was and so glad we have working sinks now. Will definitely call Al again if any other plumbing issues abound. read more

My post is so long overdue but the great service deserved a Yelp review. I found Drain Master Plumbing on Yelp during a plumbing emergency at my rental unit. I appreciated the quick response (especially when other plumbers can't bother to call or text you back) and setting up the repairs was super easy. I wasn't not able to be on site but my tenant had nothing but positive feedback. I know exactly who I'll be calling the next time I need plumbing services. Thank you for caring about your customers! read more

As another person mentioned in another Yelp review for this company, I also found out about "Drain Master Plumbing Service" from a different plumber. I explained to the plumber that I needed to replace a corroded underground gas line, going from my house to my garage, with a newer corrosion-free polyethylene line. I was also thinking about replacing 2 water lines as well. He told me that the job was too big for him, so he recommended Drain Master Plumbing Service, saying that they do great work, and they don't charge as much as most other plumbing services do. Boy, was he right! I called Al (that's AL; not ai) at Drain Master, and he answered right away. I told him what I needed done, and he said that he could come by the next morning to give me an estimate. He showed up promptly in the morning. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. I explained that I would do the trenching under the old pipe myself, and that I just needed him to replace it with polypropylene. He gave me a great price (much lower than any of the other plumbers' quotes), and then told me that he would take care of the trenching too, so I wouldn't have to! I asked when he could start, and he said, "Tomorrow!" In the evening, I had some questions, so I texted him (after hours), and he replied to each question immediately. The next morning, he and his crew (also very friendly) showed up promptly, and began work. I mentioned to Al that I was thinking of replacing 2 water valves under my garage sink... He replaced them with more modern valves, AND replaced the hoses as well, at no extra charge. I also asked him if he could run an armored ground cable plus 2 bronze clamps from the new gas line to an existing copper earth ground rod, and he also did that at no extra charge. Then he pressure-tested everything at no extra charge. (All the other plumbers who gave me quotes, were going to charge extra for pressure testing.) They finished everything that day, and cleaned up afterwards. Excellent, precise work, all to code, great prices, courteous and friendly, prompt service, and prompt response times. You just can't get better than this. Highly recommended! Thanks Al and crew!!!! read more

We had an emergency situation with our kitchen sink. Called some other plumbing companies they either could not come out for emergency or charge sky high prices. Al was able to come save our lives. He did such an amazing job figuring out what the issue was and fixed everything for us. He is a very tidy guy which I greatly appreciated. The price was very reasonable as well. I would highly recommend Al. read more

Great service all around! Being that my whole family is working/going to school from home, we've been over utilizing our plumbing system which resulted in experiencing some plumbing problems for the past couple of weeks. Al was quick to respond and showed up right on time for our appointment. He was very thorough in his inspection and carefully explained issues we were experiencing. The services required were going to require 2 days of work as it was major repair. Each day, Al and his crew showed up on time and throughout the job, Al would explain to me what they were doing, I would definitely recommend these guys for any plumbing issues large or small. read more

Major flooding underneath our home built in 1939. Original galvanized and cast iron lines and connections had to be replaced and re-routed with ABS. Drain Masters came highly recommended by my plumber, (who I've used for years, but no longer works underneath houses.) I couldn't be more pleased. Drain Masters were extremely professional, friendly, dependable (they showed up when they said they would and finished the the job when they said they would), and did an excellent job! Even their cleanup was immaculate. On top of all that, the total cost was amazing! Integrity from beginning to end. I HIGHLY recommend these guys! read more

I was referred to Al Acosta by a local plumber who said the repair I needed (fireplace gas valve replacement inside the wall) was too big for him to handle. I was relieved when Al answered his phone and said he could come to my house the next morning...until he didn't show up or call. Because my situation was urgent (the city gas department had shut off my gas due to the leaking valve), I called Al to ask if he was still coming; he said no, but that he would come the following morning. He, again, didn't show up or call, so I called him to ask if he was still coming; he said yes, he would be here in a few hours. When he finally arrived, my initial impression of Al was positive: he was friendly, polite and knowledgeable; he did a thorough inspection of the natural gas infrastructure to the fireplace (including going under the house), confirmed that the leak was coming from the valve and gave me a reasonable quote to replace it. Because the wall has wood paneling that would have to be carefully cut to access the valve, I arranged for a carpenter to come open the wall two days later. Al returned that afternoon, but didn't have the replacement part, so he instead capped the gas supply to the fireplace so I could call the gas department to restore my service. Al returned two days later with a replacement part and completed the job, which included resealing the gas line to the fireplace burner. I was pleased with the quality of Al's work and was grateful for the $100 discount he gave off the total price because he failed to show for the original appointment. Even though he had been a bit unreliable, I would have recommended Al at this time. Then things went terribly south. When the carpenter returned the following morning to replace the wallboard and wood paneling, he found that Al had not put the new valve in the center of the precut hole for the log lighter flange. I immediately texted a photo to Al and asked him to return as soon as possible to move the valve to the correct position in the wall. He texted back that he would check his schedule and let me know when he could come. He added that he would have to charge me for the additional work, which I agreed to, and asked him to please come back soon. Another four days went by with no follow-up from Al, so I texted him again to ask when he was returning. Two days later, Al replied that he was busy, he would check his schedule and let me know. Another TWELVE days went by with no follow-up from Al, so I gave it one last shot and, much to my surprise and relief, Al said, yes, he could come midday the following day. Yay! But, of course, he didn't show up or call at the appointed time. Al continued to play this game with me over the next several days, saying he would come and then failing to show up or call. So, more than five weeks later, my den wall is still open and I have to find another plumber to correct Al's mistake. To add insult to injury, I happened upon Al just this morning while I was out walking my dog. I was stunned. I had been nothing but kind, courteous, patient and understanding with him all the while he was blowing me off and he had the nerve to take a job at the house across the street from me without contacting me to say he would be in the area and could come by to move the misplaced valve he left me with. The quality of Al Acosta's work is very good, but please beware that he is unreliable, duplicitous, and does not stand by his work. read more

Al did awesome work, replacing a disposal. Clean, friendly. The second excellent job order he's done for me. Recommend him highly.

Amazing craftsmanship and professionalism, very skilled worker, came fast and on time. Best company to have serviced my house so far. The worker took his time to explain what the issue was, what could have caused it, and how to prevent it. Had many quotes from different companies and this companies quote could not be beat.
