My boyfriend and I have ordered from this restaurant, around once a month, since moving close by 3 years ago. It seems to be hit or miss, 75% of the time, it is great, the other 25% however, leaves much to be desired. Unfortunately last night will be the last time we order from them, honestly, there are far too many other Chinese restaurants to deal with dismal customer service. Our order was wrong, so I immediately called it in. I spoke with Henry, who lacks any empathy or concern for an incorrect order. When I stated what was wrong with my order, he continued to argue that I was WRONG, and what was delivered was what I requested. I could not believe it. Worst customer service experience. After getting over the fact that he wanted to argue about my order, he said it would be another HOUR to get out the small side that was missing. Ridiculous. We will not be back, this was the "3rd strike your out" moment for them, should of learned the first time my order was wrong, and cold, and customer service was LESS than stellar. read more

They are not the fastest with delivery, but as long as it is a day that you don't have anywhere to be, it is safe to order. I love their egg drop soup, crab puffs, pot stickers, and basically everything I have eaten here. One star off for the slow delivery, and this one (of many) order, the egg drop soup was not really cooked all the way and it was super gross. Crap. 1. They advertise that they deliver in 45 minutes. After ordering, I waited an hour and forty five minutes. I called the store and they told me it would be there in less than 10 minutes. 15 minutes later, my food arrived. The person who answered the phone only said sorry, we're busy and offered nothing in the form of compensation. Way to have crappy customer service. After waiting for two hours, my food was cold. SHOCKING. The potstickers were bland, tiny, and a waste of money. The random large pieces of cabbage in the container had more flavor. I could have gotten better frozen from Walmart. Have I said enough about the potstickers yet? The vegetables were all overcooked and NOTHING tasted fresh. The sweet and sour sauce was also very bland. Even the fortune cookie sucked. The fortune cookie! How in the world can you mess that up? There was nothing worth my money or time in this order. I will never order from this place again. Calling this stuff Chinese food is offensive. Dragon's Palace, if you are reading this then you need to know that the corners you have obviously cut to save money will only leave you without a decent customer base.Get your stuff together! Our delivery took longer than we were told and then they charged me more than our email receipt stated. They sent us 2 egg rolls instead of 4 and they tasted sour. They forgot the lettuce for our lettuce cups and the moo goo pancakes were dried out. When I called to speak about it, she said she'll give us free crabpuffs next time and hung up. How does that work? There will be no next time and I dont want crabpuffs.., I want the $10 I was overcharged and my evening returned to me. read more

UPDATE: Gave this place the second chance I promised. Wow. Good was AWESOME. Used the online order ap. Delivery was on time and hot. Egg rolls were crisp and delish, garlic pork chops were amazing, pepper beef was a little light on beef but very good, crispy squid was unbelievable asked for spicy and came with chilis. This will now be my go to Chinese delivery. The order through Yelp feature is what made me give this place a try. Ordering was VERY convenient and easy. Click your selections, Pay through the ap and viola your order appears in a reasonless time. My order was correct there was even a free Lo Mien in there. However the food was not that good. The beef skewers were dry and tough, the hot garlic pork had almost no pork, the egg rolls were decent and the crispy squid was not crispy. We have ordered 12 times from Dragon's Palace (signed in on the website and it told me!). It is certainly typical Chinese delivery. It isn't gourmet but it won't make your stomach upset. They accommodate my uncomplicated special orders easily and are friendly. The delivery guys are always professional and quick. I don't want small talk, I want to eat my Chinese food. Dragon's Palace is def the worst Chinese place on the Eastside. Its only saving grace is that they deliver, so they help you out in a bind, esp in COVID times. But in every other way, they're terrible lol- food isn't tasty, they often mess up your order, and there's better Chinese options on this side of town. Good food if you know exactly what you want. This is a small place. I've had the buffet and I also had take out from this place. Buffet is good, if you get there for fresh just out of the kitchen time, however if they're running low on something just ask them and they'll be more than happy to make it for you, even if you are the only customer there at the time. They will make you feel welcome and not make you feel like you are a bother to them. Ordering from the menu will probably be better though. There are more options and you can customize your order. If you want an elegant meal or just something quick and simple, this place has it. The buffet was small in comparison to other buffets, but the food was alright. Tasty dessert, always a plus, lol. Food comes out hot, even for take out, and stays hot until you open it. I wouldn't go back, unless it was a matter of real hunger, but I guess it's just...meh. On the the October 24, 2020 I called in a order and went to pick it. When I arrived I really had to use the restroom. Before I paid for my food I asked the young man (Luke) at the desk could I use the bathroom. I am 65+ years old and do not hold my water as well as I use to. I noticed the sign that said no inside dining and use of bathroom, but I am a customer spending my money. Well to make a long story short he would not allow me to use the bathroom so in my book that is poor customer service. I stated to Luke that it ok for him to take my money but I can not use your restroom, that was not right and I would not be visiting this place business ever again and Luke made a statement that is just the way it is. read more

This place is perfect! I don't normally go out for dinner but when I feel like having delicious Chinese food I go here. The prices are very fair for the amount of food you get, and although it's small it has an unbeatable charm to it. No place in town uses the sauces and spices they do, and it comes out hot and fresh! I went to Dragon's Palace because I wanted some Chinese food. Ordered beef with black mushrooms and bamboo shoots. Also ordered foil chicken, crab puffs, and Mongolian beef. I was surprised at how small the bag was until I tried to lift it. There had to be 5 6 7 lb of food in there. The beef with black mushrooms and bamboo shoots last me three days and was magnificent. They're a little off on their time when it comes to when it is supposed to be ready but the food was spot-on! After reading mixed reviews on this place I decided to throw caution to the wind and ordered delivery. From start to finish I was completely satisfied with my order! The employees were very friendly and helpful on the phone and the delivery driver was apologetic for being a few minutes later than expected (a Friday night in Tucson, it's to be expected). My dish had just the right amount of heat, I'll admit it, I'm a wimp so it would probably be pretty mild for normal spicy food lovers. I had to add salt to my Egg Flower Soup, but I've always been a fan of saltier egg soups. Ordered Kung Pao Chicken which had approximately 5 small pieces of chicken and was mostly these little chopped tasteless cardboard-like veggies. Also ordered BBQ pork fried rice which had slivered pieces of pork you could barely find in the rice. Their Chop Suey was flavorful although was lacking enough bean sprouts, again mostly these cardboard-like tasteless veggies. It seems they skimp on the good stuff!!! Anything that was fried was so greasy I couldn't eat it, the hot and sour soup was cold, and the fried rice was way overcooked and greasy, almost slimy.
