Later on, when things got hard in our family, he would always take me here to buy new yugioh cards and help me build a deck, so that he could take our minds off of everything. The entire time I was there, the store owners were yelling at each other and the woman would not stop cursing the man the entire time she walked around the store fixing stuff. After a while, I ended up finding a book that I wanted to give my niece when the woman came by, fixed some random book on the shelf behind me and said, "Don't touch the books if you aren't going to put them back correctly." Excuse me? I didn't even touch that book. I immediately put the book I was going to buy back and walked out the store. Incredibly rude to each other and their customers. Many shelves are bending and I wouldn't be surprised if they broke and books came crashing down on someone's head. Stay away from here!

The store owner was very knowledgeable and is able to tell you where things are located, if you know what you're looking for (such as specific author and title). This makes it significantly cheaper when you are creating cubes. The staff is helpful. The prices are a little higher than they should be. They definitely do participate in price gouging their customers. Unfortunately that is pretty normal for the industry. They have an ok selection of rares and a poor following for magic so if you come in at the beginning of a set there is a decent chance of you being able to buy the singles you are looking for. They have a great selection of board games too.

My friend was showing us around Trolley Square. She said after lunch that we needed to head to…read morethis book store. The way it's set up was really cool! We were on the second floor entrance. Honestly walking in, it looked like a normal book store until she walked me to the back. Walking through the gate door is where the view changes. I was in awwww! How cool is the set up of this place. I had no clue it was a 2 leveled book store. It was neat looking at the lower level. The shelves prettily speckled with color cause of all the books. I was able to look at all the old school historical books when we were walking in and out. How neat to have so much history on your shelves! We were in a time schedule so I wasn't able to really dig into them. I have seen some pretty neat places while I'm here in SLC for a bit. I'm happy I got to add this book store to that neat list. I'm hoping to make it back so I can check out the lower level.
