ALL YOU CAN EAT SUSHI! Once I heard about all you can eat on Mondays, Tuesday, and Wednesday, I immediately went after work. The all you can eat menu is extensive. You can have appetizers, soup, salad, hand rolls, and of course regular rolls. Get this, they even have cheeseburgers, fries, and chicken wings. Food was good, I ate a lot. Service was great, and the ambience was nice. They were playing the Dodgers game on TV.

Looks like some things are getting back to normal. Our every 4 to 6 week trip to the desert for necessary doctor appointment is back on. No more telephone appointments. It was nice to see him in person after such a long time! Anyway, we like to find a place to eat afterwards and our usual favorite spot was closed. I hope they open again soon. My daughter found Dragon Sushi while doing an internet search. So off we went in the 107 degree heat in search of lunch. We were greeted promptly and sat in a comfy booth. After a little confusion over the menu and how to order, we found our waitress. The menu is touch free, all you gotta do is start to take a picture of the bar code, then the link pops up. Click the link and the menu appears. I ordered the Dinner special two item combo, since we were a bit too late for the lunch special. My dish came with; miso soup, house salad, steamed rice, gyoza dumpling, shumai dumpling, teriyaki chicken and California roll. Daughter ordered the crunchy California roll. Everything was fresh and flavorful. I enjoyed the salad dressing and the teriyaki sauce covering the chicken. I look forward to our next visit. The mango tango cut roll is calling my name. https://www.dragonsushiindio.com/menus

Mahi mahi with a cilantro sauce and some sweetish soy.

It was a day of adventures, which is another way of saying that I was delayed getting to my camping site. I thought I would treat myself to dinner and not have to deal with cooking in the dark. Alas, it was Valentines Day, and a poor decision for a one top to appear at a sushi restaurant. I considered bailing and getting a fish taco next door. Should have. Service was poor, confused, and inattentive. It took forty minutes to receive the soup and salad that came with the grilled mahi dinner. That only occurred because I advocated for it as my Server did not bother to keep me informed. Frankly, if I had not asked, I think she would've completely forgotten. I also ordered a salmon skin handroll. The skin was crispy and the kitchen was generous with it. On the other hand, it was lacking one of the other key ingredients touted on the menu, yamagobo, which is why I ordered it. That is pickled burdock, and it was a nice touch which conveyed something about the kitchen's intentions. The mahi was ok, once it finally arrived. I suspect that on another night, this would have been a pleasant dining experience. Before this pandemic, a responsible restaurant would have stopped accepting people once they were well beyond capacity. It's how you preserve reputation and thus long term viability. After this pandemic, I can't begrudge any business for trying to maximize its profits even at the expense of the customer experience. But that doesn't mean I need to reward them for that choice. Prepandemic, I would have given this place two stars because of the very poor experience. I am giving them three, and again, on a regular night, you can probably have a nice 4 star night out here.

We normally have a great experience with dragon sushi but unfortunately this experience drove us away from this restaurant. We will not be Eatting here any more. This California roll was disgusting and disappointing. We could not even eat one bite of it. We called the restaurant to get an exchange or discount for our next purchase with them and they refused to work with us on this experience. How can you be in the customer service industry and not have customer service with a bad experience not even an apology that the roll wasn't made to our liking or anything just you got what you got! That's horrible service! Not coming back!

First time having lunch\dinner at Dragon Sushi. I was impressed, the setting and the decor inside is nice and very spacious, they have alot of seating. The staff is great, we were helped right away and had our order placed within 5 minutes. Great service and great atmosphere. The food is delicious and fresh. Great taste. Will be coming back soon.

Seriously some of the best quality sushi I think I have ever had in my life. The seared salmon special was perfectly drizzled with an amazing sweet sauce, the edamame perfectly salted, and the service excellent. Highly recommend if you appreciate amazing food!

It was really beautiful going around the lake and seeing the resort lit up. We had really great service! The chef was hilarious and put on a good show! He had funny jokes that I haven't heard from the other teppanyaki places. He did a really good job cooking too. Got the Mikado special which comes with filet, shrimp and lobster. Got it with a side of garlic butter to dip the meats in. That's a must, IYKYK. Dynamite shrimp would be a pass next time. I liked the gyoza and coconut shrimp. The vanilla ice cream was the delicious ending to such a fun night!

The place was almost empty and they squished us in with another family, which made it somewhat uncomfortable. Our waitress was also extremely rude. She immediately asked to take our orders- before we even had time to sit down. She spoke too fast and seemed stressed or angry, or like she was rushing us out. I didn't appreciate feeling like I was taking up space- she made us feel unwelcome. Despite this, we took our time and ordered drinks, which were nice and strong (albeit overpriced) The menu is also expensive, and although we ordered nothing out of the ordinary, our bill was over $300.00. The food tasted fine. No complaints there. We enjoyed watching our chef cook in front of us and the overall experience was a memorable one. Nevertheless the kids had a fun evening, and I made the best of it, but I will not be returning. At that price point there are many better food options in the Palm Desert area.

Tonight was an extra lovely night…read more I came here with my mother for my pre birthday dinner. I come here quite a bit, but tonight was extra special. Brenden was my server and he knew it was my birthday the next day and he just went out of his way, above and beyond. We made it for happy hour and he just took it upon himself to bring us things he knew we would like without us needing to order. Really anticipating our needs and things we didn't know we wanted! Carlos, the bartender made me my favorite cilantro margarita. But this time I got it with black salt and mezcal and ohhhh myyy wowwwww. My mom got their Halloween spooky drink special and I normally don't like sweet things but I ended up finishing her drink! This place is so fun because Carlos is always coming up with exciting, innovative, and unique cocktails for holidays, events, and special occasions. They look like something you would get in Vegas! We were sat by the fire outside it was like a squishy booth table. Soooo nice. And of course it was perfect outside. Their patio is beautiful. However, the biggest thing that stuck out to me tonight was the employees. I'm pretty sure almost every employee in that building that was on the service floor came up to my table for some sort of service. I knew a couple of the servers and they wished me a happy birthday, they were engaging, and they were so kind. Jenny especially is so sweet and she always says hi to me. She's a bit of a jokester and I LOVE her. My table was consistently bussed and checked on. The manager Paul also said hello, and he is always so smiley and welcoming. The food runners delivered my food and were warm and fun personalities. Ricardo also said hello and he is probably one of the most bubbly, smiley, and just kindred spirit of a person I've ever met. Such a great team. Like a well oiled machine. I feel these are things that really need to be pointed out because people love to complain about places but rarely find it within themselves to acknowledge people and tell everyone out there about the good. An immaculate display of service. I will always recommend this place. It's wonderful, the food is always amazing, and it's a true place for locals. I'm sorry I didn't take pictures to post because I should have. Thankyou so much Brenden for a lovely birthday dinner and thankyou to the whole team of Ponzu. You deserve many praises!!!!!

Our whole group enjoyed our drinks (alcoholic and non) as well as the sake for the table. Staff were very friendly and helpful. It even started raining outside and they quickly moved everyone inside. Super attentive. Restaurant is nicely decorated. Bathrooms were clean. A great place for a meal when walking Palm Springs. Food was absolutely delicious - we eat family style so we got to try what everyone ordered. For apps we had soft shell crab with a house salad it seemed like, spicy garlic edamame, and Bluefin Toro Tartare. Edamame was quite salty but it was addicting good. Tartare was good, they gave us more chips to help finish the dish. For mains we ate the Millionaire roll, Palm Springs roll, Toro Caviar roll, Ponzu roll, and Octopus Serrano roll. All had good flavors - my personal favorite was my selected ponzu roll. Octopus roll has lots of flavor and we didn't feel the texture of the octopus was bad which it can easily be. Shokupan Japanese Toast was such a treat too, highly recommend for a delectable sweet treat.

Next time I'll try the lemon pepper flavor. The staff was very friendly and the service was prompt. They even have a cute serving-robot that goes to your table.
