We ordered & paid for 6 rolls for take out. We only received 5. While eating i found some type of wax paper or wrapper in my sushi rolls. Really gross. First and last time trying this place out.

Stopped in for a quick bite and was seriously impressed. The miso soup was perfectly balanced--just the right amount of miso, with fresh tofu, green onions, and seaweed. I also tried the Baja Fresh Roll, which had spicy tuna inside and was topped with yellowtail, thin jalapeño slices, a bright yuzu sauce, and just the right kick from sriracha. Everything tasted incredibly fresh and crisp. Definitely a hidden gem for sushi in the desert.

It was my first time eating here. I came with my baby sis and a colleague. We ordered a bunch of stuff and they were all delish! Yummy! We all enjoyed the food very much and the service was good, too! I highly recommend! Thank you!

Rainbow Roll!

Nice little hole-in the -wall serving an amazing selection of sushi rolls! We had a wide variety of appetizers and dishes. All were amazing and the service (by Vanessa!) was spectacular! The ambiance was "chill" , nothing fancy. And note, no alcohol is served!

Tropicana and Protein roll

So if the best sushi I've had outside of Los Angeles! Highly recommend if you want great food that is really fresh! Ordered the Tropicana roll and it had a perfect combo of sweet mango and cilantro on great tasting fish! The protein roll was spicy with jalapeños on top but was really fresh as well! It's a small restaurant but will definitely go back!

Nothing fancy but the flavor was worth it and I will be back. Korean bulgogi was the best I have had.

Kobe Japanese Steak House - Lobster shrimp and scallop

Kobe Japanese Steak House

We waited a little past our reservation time, but nothing dramatic. Standing by the koi pond for a few minutes wasn't the worst way to start the evening. Once seated, it was the classic teppanyaki setup -- shared grill, chef introduction, menu walkthrough. Quick note: parties of six or more automatically get 18% gratuity added. We were four, so tipping was still up to us. Overall, the food was good. Miso soup -- solid. Rice -- exactly what you expect. Chicken teriyaki -- actually very well done. The chef worked confidently, service was attentive without hovering. No complaints there. My issue was with the steak. I ordered the Imperial steak (around $50), medium rare. They confirmed the temperature, which I appreciated. But once it was cut into smaller pieces on the grill, the final doneness leaned closer to medium. A few pieces clearly cooked longer -- likely to balance out other temperature requests at the table. It wasn't bad. It just wasn't precise. When the total for four people comes out to $316 before tip, precision matters. The atmosphere is fun. The format works. It's a solid night out, especially if you enjoy the show aspect of teppanyaki. For me though, it's a one-time experience. If invited again, I wouldn't mind. But I wouldn't go out of my way to return. Good experience overall. Just not one that pulls me back.

Ate my leftovers today and they were just as delicious as last night. I've been here one other time and it was equally amazing! The 2 sauces ( a ginger wasabi and a citrusy ginger maybe?) We're great! Cant wait you go back and I'm craving tepanyaki!!!

They also have a full bar now, so there are many more options for libations while you eat. We arrived right on time for our 6PM reservation and we were seated at the outdoor table we pined for. The weather and the setting definitely started this dinner with a positive outlook. We were a party of five, with three of us ordering different Taco alternatives. I requested the Shrimp, my wife asked for the Salmon and our daughter selected Filet Mignon. The flavor of all the Tacos was out of this world, as the ingredients and the sauces involved within those corn tortillas meshed together magically. I will say that paying $20 for two small tacos that weren't PACKED was a little bit of a RIP. The other two guests in our party went for two different types of Pizza. They both boxed a slice or two to take home. As sides, we had two orders of Truffle Fries and one of the Brussel Sprouts. Both were phenomenal but the veggies could have been more plentiful. To go with our dinners, my wife and I brought our own Meadowcroft GSM that generated two surprises for us. One was how great it accompanied what we ingested, the other was the $30 corkage on the bill. To round out the night out, my daughter shared a Sundae-Sundae with the other guests. Being able to get out to see new restaurants once a month is a gift, and most of what we experienced was a HUGE thumbs up. We just felt like what was provided in a casual setting was a little overpriced. This will not be on a future "to do" list.
