Full disclaimer: I love the addition of fruit to just about any dish…read more Fruit in salad? All for it. Pineapple on pizza? Yes please. Apple and cranberries in my Thanksgiving stuffing? No brainer. So I was excited to try Wunderbar's TBH sandwich: turkey, bacon,, havarti, lettuce, and tomato on a brioche roll...with sour cherry jam. The sour cherry jam is an absolute game changer. It elevates an otherwise above-average sandwich to memorable. My mom had the berry crepes - a favorite of hers, and the reason we chose this as our late Mothers Day lunch spot. She was not disappointed. I'm a fan. I love to support local business, and I definitely plan to return to Wunderbar soon.

Overall, I'd describe Wunderbar as a good coffee shop and a nice community meeting spot. I ordered…read morethe drip house blend, which had a really nice flavor and was very enjoyable. My husband ordered an iced espresso, but unfortunately, it tasted a little weak. They do have a ton of different coffee drinks and syrup options, so there are plenty of choices. On our visit, the majority of people seemed to be there for coffee, and it had a welcoming, neighborhood feel. For the food, I think we may have ordered poorly. We both chose savory crepes, and they were just okay. I ordered the egg and cheese crepe, which had a lot of béchamel sauce on and inside it. My husband had the egg, ham and cheese and had the same feedback about the sauce, although he did really like the ham. If I'm in Bellevue, I would definitely stop in for a coffee. However, I probably wouldn't make a special trip just to visit Wunderbar. For me, the coffee is the standout here.

I stopped by here a couple of Sundays ago with my wife. We were actually headed to Marshall's at the Block at Northway whenever we happened to spot this truck just outside. Since it is a food truck, there's not much to say about it other than it was parked on the sidewalk and had a sign up advertising their specials. Other than that I noticed a sign in the window saying that they sold Defer coffee which I appreciated since it is both local and good. Since there was no line I immediately proceeded up to the window and was able to place my order for a oatmilk latte. The oatmilk itself was only an extra $.75 which I feel like is a fair price for such an upgrade. In any case after only a minute or two wait I had my coffee and was on my way. Whenever I finally was able to taste it I will admit that I was happy with it. The coffee itself had a deep and rich flavor to it while the oatmilk had a strong oat flavor. Those two items were in proportion to each and played nicely together. The bottom line for me is that I would stop by here again in the future. I thought that my coffee here was good and liked the idea of a coffee food truck.
